Belgian Waffles
Hannah F.

We stopped by here for breakfast with a group of family that was visiting from out of town. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone agreed that the ambiance was charming and that the food was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the fajita omelet with chicken and it was very yummy. It had great flavor, was packed with veggies and it was covered in cheese. The cubed breakfast potatoes were crispy and delicious. The French toast was very good too. My husband had the Belgian waffles and he said they were alright but he wished the portion was a bit larger. My husband said that he really enjoyed the hash browns. Everyone else was exclaiming over the pancakes and other items they ordered as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall Catalina's has reasonable pricing, cute ambiance and very good service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is limited in the parking lot but there is some street parking available as well. We will absolutely be back and we will recommend this spot to our neighbors as well.

The service and food were outstanding. Angel is excellent at his job. It's great to know they grind their own beef.

This was a suggestion by my friends who live here. The was just passing through on a layover - and she recommended this diner. I AM A FAN OF DINERS!! (I'm an east coast kid ) The menu was extensive and they serve breakfast all day long!! They also serve alcohol as I saw a few margaritas float past our table. The service was friendly and I'm guessing it family run because everyone was friendly! The cooks thanked us for coming in from the kitchen!! Who does that!? THIS PLACE DOES!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining room was spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathrooms were super clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a counter you can eat at. And they offer tables and booths[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my friends ordered the 3 taco plate - chicken. It was all delicious! Their homemade hot sauce is killer too If you haven't been here you need to! I am sure you'll enjoy whatever you choose at Catalina's. My only critique is they should get a filter system for the tap water they serve - it was not good. Happy grubbing!!

Tiramisu-

This diner has such great comfort food ranging from street tacos to Calzones and hot sandwiches. Today's special was FRENCH dips. Served with brisket type sliced beef on a beautiful crunchy bun with gooey cheese. The au jus was just the right salty and beefy. And the dessert-homemade Tiramisu so rich and creamy. The perfect end to a really exceptional lunch.

Ultra slow service. Not sure how the food is, waiting to try it for 25 min now. Wth, it's 2 o'clock and not busy.

Bland and over cooked breakfast with long wait times. Also absent wait staff. Go five miles into Kiowa for some AMAZING food at Patty Ann's.

Got the Last Crusade. It was incredible…read more The music selection was so funny to us. It also carries a vibe like naming a bulldog princess but I mean that in the best way possible. This place is a beast and never disappoints. The menu is MASSIVE. There's probably an absolute guarantee you will find something you like.

We come up every other weekend to visit family, and this is a place we keep coming back to. The sandwiches are really good and consistently high quality every time. They are on the pricier side, but you can easily split one, which makes it a great option to share. The menu has a ton of options--it can feel a little overwhelming at first--but honestly, you can't go wrong. We've tried quite a few, and every single one has been great in its own way. Pro tip: during the summer, the line can wrap around the block. If you don't want to wait 30-40 minutes, ordering online is definitely the move. Also, don't skip their bars--they're absolutely amazing. Perfect to grab for later if you're heading out on a hike, or just enjoy it right there. Highly recommend grabbing a sandwich and taking it down to the river--that's honestly the best part of the whole experience.

If you're heading to the mountains for the weekend or planning a camping trip, make sure to stop by…read moreand grab breakfast or lunch here! Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but they use premium-quality ingredients that really set them apart. The bread on their sandwiches is fantastic, and they've recently started using beef tallow for their French fries, chicken sandwiches, and wings which takes the flavor to another level. They also offer gluten-free options, making it a great choice for everyone. It's a smaller establishment, so be patient if there's a wait it's 100% worth it. The customer service is beyond what I've experienced at some high-end restaurants. While waiting for my food, I got to witness the teamwork and communication between the kitchen staff and front counter crew. These guys were hustling, working efficiently, and clearly taking pride in what they do. It was genuinely impressive to watch. Whether you're stopping in with friends and family or grabbing a meal solo, the atmosphere is welcoming, the music is great, and the overall vibe is positive and upbeat. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you can thank me later! And whatever you do, don't leave without trying one of their homemade ice cream sandwiches!

The place is small and seemed perpetually busy, so it took a while to get our food. But, there are also lots of interesting things to look at, so it wasn't bad. And the staff was very friendly I ordered the South Carolina BBQ sandwich, and we split an enormous basket of sweet potato fries. We liked that there was frosting to dip them in. My sandwich was good and generous; I only ate half, which meant that I got to enjoy the other half at another time. At first, we were not very impressed with the fries, but we managed to eat them all, so I guess they actually were good!
