Delicious! My husband and I ate here for the first time last week and I keep thinking about it. I had the chicken burger with fries and jalapeño ranch. It was cooked perfectly! Sometimes I'm scared to get chicken sandwiches because they can be dry, but it was not the case at all. The jalapeño ranch is sooo addictive. My husband kept stealing it from me for his fries. This is our second time to Cosentino's. Both times, the food was awesome! I had the Italian Scramble, the hubby had the omelet stuffed (really stuffed!) with ham, sausage and other goodies. The problem both times was the service. I can cut them a bit of stack for our first visit as the place was completely packed. Unfortunately, when we visited today, it wasn't busy but our server wasn't very attentive. We may give Cosentino's one more try due to the great food, but if there is still a problem with the service, it'll be off our list of restaurants to support. read more

I came to Elizabeth, CO only to look at a horse for sale....that was a disappointment but Catalina's made up for that! If you are looking for the PERFECT, most DELICIOUS Reuben sandwich ever you will find it here! I paired it with homemade onion rings and let me tell you, if I did not live in Reno, NV I would be back repeatedly to try everything on the menu. We have been here many times and the service keeps getting worse and worse. Be prepared to wait a long time for your food. The people who work here are a mix of people who know what they are doing and people who don't. Our waiter today was not good at all. We hardly saw him. One of the girls working noticed we were being neglected and came by to let us know she checked on our food and it was coming. Food is diner food. I don't think we will go back. read more

The food is good and the atmosphere is comfortable. Great menu choice options. Waitress was wonderful but busy with too many tables both times we were there. Service is a bit slow because they seem short staffed and need more waiters on the floor or at least a back up staffer paying attention. Breakfast is ok. Good food, isn't that all that maters. Well in Elizabeth you don't have many choices for a nice restaurant, and this is a nice place. The environment is nice and comfortable, it fits Elizabeth and is truly enjoyable. The food is good, some of my favorites are the Fries! they are amazing and cornbeaf hash is also amazing, what makes this place good is most of the menu items are made from scratch, even the potatoes are cut that day, you can taste it. read more

This was great!! We wanted to try something new and found this on yelp. The outside of the building and features were very unique. There was a bride-like walkway to the front door and other neat things. They sat us quickly at a booth in the dining area with large antler chandeliers. It was pretty! We ordered breakfast and even side orders, we were hungry. Our minds thought bigger than our stomachs! They servings were huge! I had to take leftovers home. The food was fantastic. Hi there Ate there yesterday I talked big about how good it was to my brother in from outta town. Not very busy at 10am nice interior. My brother is liking the atmosphere. I told him the Italian sausage is good here. The sausage is raw the potatoes way under cooked. Waitress kinda snotty. 3 people basic breakfast $54... That's kinda steep for mediocre food. Great, great service and neat ambience...had the feel of a older dinner with a car theme. ..food was good, wife loved the fish and chips, daughter loved the ravioli. ..burgers weren't bad, but could've used more"flavor" we had the Hawaii and jalapeno. ..biggest downside is that they have NO kids menu, unless you want chicken fingers or grilled cheese, it's a "full priced menu" only..for a family of 5 (2 kids under 10) we paid almost $90..so definitely not cheap, this why it would be nice to have a kids menu. I love this place. The Cousin Vinny pizza is my favorite pizza from any place, hands down. The corned beef is insane. It's home made and great on a Reuben or corned beef hash for breakfast. Service can get slow in the morning on weekends and other peak times, but to me it's worth waiting for. The staff are all really friendly too. I've tried some of the other food, but have had a hard time branching out having found entrees I love. Oh yeah, they also have sweet potato fries. Nom. Wish they were open on Tuesdays. read more

Two people in our party of five ordered the special, spinach ravioli. Those two got very, very sick and one is nine months pregnant. When we called to speak with the owner she denied that her food could have been the cause, and was difficult to communicate with. We certainly won't be back. In addition to fantastic food the Catalina Diner staff provides excellent service. Shortly after being seated we had our drinks. Then our friendly server took our order. Went for lunch with my wife after living in Elizabeth for a year and saying 'we should try that place'... Finally did and liked it. Had sammy's that were too big to finish with too many really good fries. Decent service. Not very crowded when we went. We want to try again for b-fast and pizza. One suggestion though ... Food is mediocre, have tried a couple different times, different things and ehhhhh on all things. Except their panzetti's are amazing!!!

We live in the area so we've been here many times. Pretty much anything you order on the breakfast menu will be great. The burgers are pretty good but the pizza always tastes burned to me. The biggest problem is the sauce, it's really watery. I ordered a calzone one time, big mistake! When I cut it open, tomato flavored water came running out. Within minutes the calzone was so soggy it was inedible. Go there for breakfast but if you want pizza, there's a great place for that across the street. They are open and closed on weird days so call before you make the drive. There's even time when they will be closed for weeks or a month at a time. I guess with prices that high you can afford to take a lot of time off. read more

I have always liked Catalina's Diner even when it had different names. I have lived in this area for 17 years. Catalina's people are friendly. The food is good too. The problem is that the service seems to be getting really slow. It is taking a long time to get even simple meals out in a reasonable amount of time. The prices keep going up too. I know prices are going up everywhere but Catalina's seems to be leading the charge. No pun intended. The food is still good and I like the people but they need to improve the service and bring down the price a little bit. read more

Catalina's has been operating for years and I've eaten there about 25 times. It is a great restaurant with fairly large servings. I've eaten a variety of meals there and I've never had a had a bad meal. The restaurant is frequently busy and meals can arrive a little slow, but they do the best they can. Service if good but they could use more staff when they are busy. Catalina's is in a small town and this is clearly the best place in town. It would stand up in a larger community and the food is rated at 4 on the 5 star scale. read more

All I can say - Five Guys, Smash burger, Larkburger and any other so called gourmet burger joint ain't got nothin' on a real hamburger from Consentinos. I don't care if you live in Laramie, WY... We went for breakfast recently, their homemade hash browns were worth the drive alone! Crispy and thick cut with lots of flavor. We sampled the green chili, also homemade and very flavorful and delicious. Wish they had a vegetarian version without the pork, I could have bathed in it - it was that good! Breakfast would have been perfect if they didn't have the little Smucker's jam packets, preserves in a jar would lend to the homemade feel they are striving for. A nice diner atmosphere and definitely a local's hangout judging from the banter between tables and the staff. We will be back to sample lunch and dinner sometime. read more

Made from scratch. I met the owner and he said everything possible is made from scratch. I had the homemade coleslaw and some french onion soup. Both were very good. I followed that up with a pancake sandwich - 2 cakes with eggs over easy and bacon. Solid. My friends cleaned their plates as well. They commented on the home made french fries. Had lunch the other day. We have eaten here many times but this is our first time under the new owners/management. Service was very good. Everything here looks/is the same except the name and cover page on the menu. The food also seems the same, hit or miss depending on what you order. I ordered the meat ball sub, my wife ordered the Ruben. My sub was not very good meatballs dry, obviously cut in half and sitting around for too long. Wife's Ruben was fine. I'll still come here, because of few options in Elizabeth. In the future I will probably stick to breakfast and burgers. If like the old ownership these will be good. read more

We have been going here for years or at least picking up pizza to take out for years. Recently we decided to dine in. We had a problem with something floating in our drink and when we brought it up to the waiters attention she didn't care. When brought up to the owner she wrote us off was really rude and said "that happens". Terrible customer service we will not be back! read more
