The restaurant space is a little tight so you may overhear your neighbor's conversation but there is a lovely open kitchen in the back where you can watch the chefs work together in symphony. We started with the Spanish octopus ($22) which we loved so much, we ordered a second of, as well as the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms ($19). The octopus was incredibly tender and plump and had a Galician flavor with the potatoes and grilled peppers. The squash blossoms were delicately fried with a light and crispy tempura batter and the tomato marmalade on the bottom provided a nice sweet-tartness to the dish overall. For our entrées, we tried the duck breast ($29), roasted gem clams ($27), pappardelle ($29), and the ravioli doppio ($28), the last of which was my favorite dish of the evening. The duck was well seared and the umami of the mushrooms contrasted with the sweet and tart agrodolce sauce, keeping the overall dish from being too heavy. The gem clams were a tad too savory for my preference, especially with the shavings of bonito flakes. We were given the choice of pairing the clams with bread or pasta and I would definitely recommend going with the latter to help dilute the brininess of the dish. The pappardelle had a lovely al dente chew and the braised lamb shoulder and fava beans lended the dish a very spring-forward vibe, which complimented the ravioli doppio with a duo filling of peas and ricotta, finished in a basil butter sauce. Overall, I really enjoyed my dining experience at Little Sage and I love how in tune the menu is with seasonal produce available. I would love to return to try their other offerings, including the lobster gnocchi which I noticed a lot of tables ordered. The staff was also very accommodating for my tree nut allergy-- the pesto is nut-free and all dishes that do have nuts are used as garnishes and can be removed if desired.

Catalina's Pizza is now my "go to" pizzeria. I had never heard of the place and happened to see one of their menus on the mailbox. Generally I'll ignore such brochures but for whatever reason I took it. I am very glad I did. The other night I was hungry & too lazy to go out so I decided to give them a try. Again, I am very glad I did. I'm usually skeptical of new places, especially pizza places but I ordered a simple cheese pizza. The man taking the call was pleasant, the delivery man was very courteous and professional and deserving of a good tip and the best part, the pizza itself. The price is incredible, only $7.00, they have a $10.00 minimum for delivery so I ordered a salad as well but back to the pizza, I was incredibly & pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. Because it was so good I had a slice or two more than I should but no regrets. I enjoyed every bite. The pizza was cooked perfectly, the right amount of cheese and sauce and the dough was out of this world. The crust was so fresh, tasty, great texture and really made the pizza all the better. The price is cheap but the pizza is hardly cheaply made. The ingredients were high quality and it showed with the end product. I've eaten a lot of pizza in my day this was some of the best pizza I had in quite some time. Catalina's Pizza has only been in business for a few months and when I called the place tonight for another pizza I told the owner how pleased I was and to consider me a loyal customer of Catalina's Pizza moving forward. He was pleased to hear that and thanked me. Even on a busy Saturday night he took the time to tell me that even though he has low prices to attract customers he only uses high quality ingredients. Being a new business there is a learning curve but Catalina's Pizza is committed to it's customers by providing the best product and service possible. To those few who posted less than positive reviews I ask that you give Catalina's another chance, if not now then sometime down the line. Again, it's a new place and with restaurants I know first hand it takes time to get things down right. Mistakes will be made, things will be tried, some good, some not whether it be the food, service, etc. People spend their money and want to be satisfied, I get it, so do I but at times we are too quick to criticize. Clearly no business will win everybody but Catalina's has won me over. Catalina's gets five stars from me. I've only ordered pizza, two times and both were superb. In time I will venture out to other items. I don't expect nor require perfection, my five stars isn't about that. The salad I got was ok, very fresh but nothing great so I'm sure they will have to keep pushing and improving. My five stars is because yes, the pizza was awesome, awesome taste, good price but more importantly I support the business because I feel like I'm valued customer at Catalina's Pizza. It's a small business competing in a tough market but I like what they are doing and how they are doing it. Give Catalina's Pizza a try. The toppings are definitely high quality, especially the cheese. Not that gross fake stuff you usually get from hole in the wall pizzerias. I especially love that they cut the toppings up in bite size pieces, not just throwing them on in big chunks. We also really liked the wings. The best thing about this place is the pizza cause it's cheap. Do not order the boneless chicken wings or "steak tip" dinner. The steak was not at all close to being the size of tips. Instead they were tiny slithers of meat microwaved in a sweet sauce. Yuck! And it wasn't cheap - $12 for a steak tip dinner with white microwaved rice and a mini garden salad with disgusting homemade Italian dressing. The buffalo chicken was nothing more than very thin slices of overcooked chicken. I want my money back. Do yourself a favor - Save your money and go elsewhere! read more

It had burned edges that made it crispy and flavorful. I loved it. I ordered a pepperoni with mushrooms pizza and was very pleased with it. I think they only make it one size. The price was good for the pizza. The establishment is small, with some tables. There is no table service. You pay, you pick up your order, and take it to the table. The menu is listed on top by the register. They have many types of pizza variations and other Italian dishes. The restaurant was clean. They answered all my questions. I received friendly service, and the wait wasn't very long.

But the pesto pepperoni vodka sauce pizza was the standout for me. The crispy little pepperoni cups, the creamy vodka sauce, and that oily, flavorful pesto drizzled throughout were SO good. I loved how all the flavors and textures came together -- easily one of my favorite pizzas I've had lately. I'd honestly come back just for that pizza alone! We've had the Quattro Formaggi Lasagna (4 cheese) because my daughter is a vegetarian. It did not disappoint! My daughter loved it, and I did as well. My ONLY issue is the portion size. The photos make it look like you'll be getting a 9x12 pan, but in fact, the trays are 8.75 inches long by 6.25 inches wide by 1.75 inches deep. They fully disclose that on their website, so my bad for not checking it. Either way, their food is delicious!!
