I purchased my new home on July of 2016 and decided to go with Home Depot for my window coverings because they offered Hunter Douglas shutters and financing options. This was a mistake. From the beginning, I had issues with the materials, length of delivery and installation. Up to this day, the sides of the shutters are still falling off. I've had to glue the sides myself to prevent it from falling on my head at night. Because I've had a mediocre experience with Home Depot, I decided to shop around for a different company to finish the remaining six windows I had left. On 2/25/19, I came across all the wonderful reviews on Catalog Blinds and decided to give them a try. One of the owners, Michael, responded within a few hours and came the same day to give me an estimate on the costs of finishing up the windows using similar Hunter Douglas products. Because Michael was very professional and gave me an affordable estimate, I decided to go with Catalog Blinds. To my surprise, Michael told me that the shutters would be ready in two weeks. This was shocking to me because Home Depot forgot my order and took two months from the order date to install my shutters. In two weeks, Michael called with the products ready to be installed as promised. Because of my hectic schedule and upcoming vacation, we decided to install the shutters on 3/31/19. Michael, Sean and Tony came to do the installation. The installation went smoothly. I had no issues. The shutters are on point.
