I called a handful of companies. One never called me back. Another sent me a text that they couldn't come out for 3 weeks and Catalog Blinds called me back and had no issues with scheduling. I instantly felt comfortable with them. They were knowledgeable, showed me different photos and took time to listen to what I wanted. I took the information and advised I had to review with my husband. The pricing was affordable too! I had a handful of follow up questions and they responded instantly each time. Never once did I feel pressured. I decided to order white blinds for our house. Due to Covid it took a month to deliver. Unfortunately once it delivered and was put up we saw multiple blinds had dings or imprints. Catalog Blinds assured me they would notify the manufacturer. They hadnt seen the marks before. They refused to take a dime from me until I was 100% satisfied. I was highly impressed with how much they cared. They ordered the blinds and the new ones were installed today. The new ones had a few marks here and there but they swapped them out and replaced it right then and there. They checked everything multiple times. Everything turned out so nice. I'm so happy with the color and quality of the blinds. The markings were due to issues during shipping. Nothing they could control but seeing how proactive they were to make it right was very impressive and encouraging. You don't get customer service like this just anywhere. If you're going to invest this much money into your home I highly recommend you call them. You'll be taken care of, be offered competitive pricing (so much cheaper than home depot) and you'll have some beautiful blinds. Thank you so much for all of your help. This is a 2 part review with the second coming after install with photos. I normally wait till I'm done to leave a review but I was so impressed with Michael from Catalog Blinds that I wanted to jump start the review. I'm buying a new house thats under construction and Michael came out to the model to help us pick out the right window coverings and is going to my home that is under construction to take exact measurments. We just moved to Discovery Bay from the SF/Peninsula area and our house needed new window coverings throughout. We just bought our home and didn't want to spend much more than necessary for window treatment. We got a few price quotes from other companies which were overpriced IMO, so I decided to give this local company a try. I gave them a call and Tony responded within hours. They gave the best quote for the Hunter Douglas brand shutters and had a variety of styles to choose from. This is the best business I've ever encountered. I moved into my new home three years ago and had Catalog Blinds do all my windows with shutters and shades. My patio door had a roller shade that was battery-operated. We replaced the batteries once and the second time they were replaced they only worked for three weeks. I didn't have anyone to check them out for me so I called Tony and he must've been close by and I was so surprised he was at my house within five minutes. I know this is hard to believe for a place to be so expedient. Problem was corroded batteries that were Duracell and a brand new package and Tony put them in and all is well. I recently purchased a new home, with 20 windows. I had a number in my mind based on prior window covering purchases. I was relieved to get the quote. It was very reasonable. I recently contacted Tony and Shaun again to install a secondary set of blackout blinds in the living room, and primary bedroom, to stop the glare on the TV, etc.. Even though they had the measurements from my first installation, they insisted on returning in person to ensure my window casing was deep enough to I had more windows in mind that they ended up ordering blinds for, but they encouraged me to hold off to see if the essential spots would be sufficient to block the glare. Michael and his brothers were on time for every appointment and they always insisted on wearing painters booties over their shoes when coming inside. They have lots of sample books you can go through and even replica models of different styles of blinds. Very patient as I took my time going through all the options and deciding what I wanted, which took hours. They even help you decide what shades and colors look good with your scheme if you want. Not pushy at all with their own opinions, but always listening to what you are interested in and looking for. They introduced me to types of blinds I had never heard of before, the sheer silhouette style, which we ended up choosing for one of our rooms. They were also amazingly priced. Very generous with their discounts and finding pricing and payment plans that work for you. I felt like we got an amazing deal and because of that decided to do the whole house instead of just the few rooms we originally had planned. On installation day they were again prompt and on time. Michael had been updating me throughout the weeks and we waited for our blinds to come in to let me know what the status was. They leave no mess behind, wiping down and shop vac-ing any residues left behind. Took down all the old blinds and curtain rods left behind by the previous owner. They also offered to spackle any holes left behind in the wall if we wanted, but always asked first rather than assuming which is good because the spackle leaves white patches that you most likely need to paint over. They explained and demonstrated the function of each blind and had me look at and inspect each installation to ensure I was satisfied. And I was!
