Catch Me If You Can Really good food and a good variety for all. We've been a couple of times and have enjoyed it both times! This time our family tried several different dishes. Boiled Shrimp Fried Shrimp Crawfish Tails Cajun Egg-rolls Chicken Fried Steak Chicken strips Étouffée The service was pretty good, we had a couple of things that got lost in the kitchen that they had to make again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The weather was not do hot, so we sat outside and had a good time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're looking for some good, give them a try. Go Get Full

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Crazy busy Saturday night. No place to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music is ok.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Getting food to go. Food is coming out of the kitchen. So thats a plus. It better be good for as long as we're waiting. 10 minute line to order. 25 minutes after ordering. Still waiting. After 35 minutes we got our food. Gumbo is authentico & fantastic. Fish is great. Shrimp and grits are good. This place could be great with some logistical fixes on the ordering and seating process, but the food is worth the wait.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is decorated really cool with Cajun style[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], however the food is not that great. Our first time there today and we walked in and only one table was occupied. No one greeted us and we didn't know to order at the back or sit down and get waited on (you order at the back). The fries were good and the sweet tea was good, but the fried shrimp and fish were too heavily battered. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No one but young adults in there running it and fighting over what music to play.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely would not go back even though it looks like a fun place.

    Boudin Burger!! AMAZING!!!

OOOOMMMMGGGG. I have been wanting to try this place since the sign went up that it was open, but my husband turned his nose up every time I mentioned it...mostly because for whatever reason he assumed it was a young people's party place. lol. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's actually quite the opposite - with a comfy small diner vibe, super nice staff and over the top delicious food!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I finally got to try the Boudin Burger that I have been drooling over in other people's reviews. I can't even formulate words to describe the flavor profile and juicy, spicy deliciousness of this burger. That's where the OOOOMMMMGGGG came in. I don't know who thought up the concept of putting a fried boudin patty on a burger with grilled onions and jalapeños, but I would really like to hug them right about now. I think I can safely say that this was the absolute best burger I have ever eaten. I'm so looking forward to trying their other menu items...which sucks for me because I am allergic to shellfish, but I will definitely be trying everything else!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would - and that's just for the burger! Oh, the fries were good too btw. :) PS - my husband is now a converted CMIYC customer for life!

Oh Lawdy Lawd!!! You serious? We used to chase these guys when they would drop location sites in Tyler. I was turned onto these guys from my son... when he told me that I had to be at the Big Lots parking lot, at a certain time, and order whatever we wanted but we NEEDED to get their Swamp Fries. Sooooooo.... The wife and I did. We stood in line, that began forming before they opened... in 105°!! Whewww... "This better be worth it!", is all I could think about at the time. Well batter me up in Cajun seasoning and toss my ass into the fryer! Hot damn this place is amazing! This was absolutely perfect! And now imagine my surprise when finding out they have their own restaurant now! Ya mean I don't have to chase these guys down anymore? Love it!! The ambiance and flair of Louisiana has totally been captured with the the interior and exterior layout. The outdoor seating is my absolute favorite. I've brought my mom, my kids, and some out of towners here on various occasions, and every time- they never disappoint! Of course the Swamp Fries is a must if you haven't tried it yet. Fries smothered in Gumbo, shrimp, cheese, sausage, special sauce, over some dirty rice... mmmm A perfect medley concocted for your creole palette. We've also had the Cajun Corn and the Fried Boudin, an experience to be had for sure. Their fried fish plate is extremely tasty, but their Fried Chicken Tenders was top notch! White meat isn't my favorite but it was juicy throughout. I always worry about dried out pieces but their tenders are meaty and juicy! I can't speak highly enough of this place. I am so glad you are rooted down, that way I can guarantee my guests some good eats instead of hoping to Catch them while I could Love the creole southern vibe, the food, the atmosphere... perfect experience in my book. As always, enjoy & Happy Catching!

Ordered the Mama Catch, boudin balls, side of dirty rice, side of hushpuppies (6). They drizzle a butter sauce (different heat levels) on top of crawfish.. so beware.. it is a good butter sauce. The dirty rice was a letdown.. it was a little undercooked and lacked seasoning. The boudin balls had a nice crust, but it should be called a cheesy ball... there was barely any boudin in it.. and it could use more flavor so you prob wanna skip. I love hushpuppies so had to get an order... flavor is good but they were dry. The main event, crawfish... it was seasoned very well and the butter on top was mint! It is still early in season, so crawfish was small. It took a little bit for crawfish to come out, and they werent that busy. I will come back in a few weeks to see if crawfish is bigger. Not sure if i will try other menu items yet.

Cool vibes place to try if you are in the Tyler area. It's Cajun at its finest, and you will not be disappointed. We tried their version of Birrio Tacos, which was flour tortillas stuffed with dirty rice and tons of slow-cooked meats and cheese, and served with a side of the best gumbo that you have ever tried. Fun atmosphere with live music!

I can't believe I have not tried this place before today! Okay, I made a living traveling and love my New Orleans Cajun food so maybe I thought it would not compare. However, after seeing this food truck business turn into a restaurant, and listening to the owner on the news talk about the struggle for private restaurants to stay in business and keep their prices down, I decided to give it a try today. After all, they have all these "Best In Town" awards from Tyler. So I had to drive to Flint today to try out their restaurant. Oh my goodness! I have found my new Cajun Seafood Restaurant! I am kicking myself for not coming here sooner! Believe me when I say I'm gonna be in here at least once a week. I got a boiler bag with a half a pound of shrimp and three clusters of crab along with corn and potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and so delicious. The spices and sauce were perfect. I came at 4 o'clock right before it got busy and now I'm ordering food to go to take home. I will say it's definitely Cajun and spicy so if you don't like spicy, make sure you tell them not to add the seasoning. I like the spicy, but either way the crab and shrimp were cooked to perfection and delicious. Please come support them and don't wait too long like I did. I want them to stay open so I can eat here once a week! Love, love, love. Oh yeah, the fellas working upfront were super nice, helpful and very accommodating.

You come back to a place like Happy's, and it tastes like a Michelin Star establishment compared to the seafood up in Lubbock. Where is that fish from? The ponds? Ain't no way. Happy's is a staple of Tyler. Owned by the same team as Mercados and Posados, Happy's is their only seafood establishment, and it is a fine piece of art. Inside, there's plenty of lamps and fish hanging on the walls and decor that feels strongly inspired by Mardi Gras. The truest display of their beauty is a chandelier made of Corona bottles. I was meeting my aunt and uncle for lunch with my girlfriend, and my uncle knows this place up and down. You could tell it's one of his favorite spots in Tyler by how he lit up when I suggested it as the place we go to lunch together while I was visiting. We used to go quite a bit when I was still living in Tyler, and he still knows the name of the waitresses and they love him back. I went for the Catfish Po Boy because man did it sound fire. I got it with a side of fries and fried okra. The okra was great and the fries were super crispy. The Po Boy itself was the star of the show. I unwrapped it and destroyed the entire thing. The catfish side was super crispy and delicious and had a fantastic flavor. It tasted fresh and I knew it was really special. My girlfriend got the gumbo and thought it was incredible as well along with eating half of my fried okra. Happy's might have some of the best seafood in Tyler. It's a great establishment, and I was proud to be able to show it to my visiting girlfriend as the pride and joy of some of the food Tyler has to offer. RIYL: Something fishy

Come to find out, the order was never placed with the rest of the table and the birthday lady had to wait another 15 minutes for chicken fajitas?!?! Wow, not a word from management, so needless to say we were very disappointed and the festive mood was ruined. They did not offer to comp her lunch. After another 15 minute wait it was packaged togo with a disgruntled manager giving a 50% discount on the fajitas. There didn't seem to be a lot of options, so we were very happy to find a Texmex restaurant close by. We love Texmex! We were promptly seated by a young guy, then greeted quickly by our server. She was very friendly and helpful in answering our questions about the menu. My friends both chose the Frankston special with a side of guacamole, and I can't remember the name of the entree I chose, but it was a cheese enchilada (I think) covered with beef fajita meat and chili, alongside rice and refried beans. I had a coke, which was served in a bottle, but our server brought me a glass of ice which was great. The restaurant was hopping for a Thursday night. It wasn't full to the max, but business was good. Our server was very attentive. I wish I could remember her name so I could give her a shout out. The guacamole was delicious. I could have made a meal just off of that, but since it was ordered by my friend, I wasn't going to eat all of her food. Ha! Honestly though, the salsa and rest of our food was mediocre. We ate most of it, but there wasn't anything I'd crave enough to go back. It was edible, so if I found myself in Frankston hungry again, I'd consider stopping in. Like I said, there aren't a lot of dining options. We eventually asked for our check and went to the front register to check out. This was done by an older man who we found to be very rude. We asked for our check to be split up between us, and I guess he just wasn't in the mood or something. There was no one else checking out at the time, but he was rushing us through, making a simple request a whirlwind of demands. I really don't know how else to describe it. Once we paid and were out the door, we all looked at each other and tried to figure out what that was all about. Needless to say, he kinda ruined the experience for us. So, if you're in Frankston, and want some so-so Texmex, go to Marcos. Or, there's always the Dairy Queen nearby for just as good of a meal.
