Had this place a while back and was pretty dang good. The inside isn't much, it's more so like a cafe style with a bar. The price is pretty reasonable for the quality. I was honestly ready to leave a bomb review because I loved the food; so much. We came in from out of town and saw the "Little little special" which was for 3 pounds crawfish and 1 pound of shrimp for $42; sounded like a great deal. We ordered the special and what came out seemed HUGE. I didn't think much of it and started eating. It was great. However, my boyfriend and I weren't able to finish it which was really strange to me. I've grown up eating crawfish boils for almost 2 decades and have always eaten 3 pounds solo - let alone splitting it. My boyfriend went to pay and come to find out, we were served the little special, NOT the little little special. Our server "accidentally" thought we said the little special instead of the little little special which cost us an extra $14... and was 5 pounds of seafood - not 3. That was then followed by another server saying, "Yea... I usually ask the table if they want the little little or the little." And another server saying, "Yea we should probably change the name." I really wanted to leave 5 stars because the food was excellent. However, when you're serving food that has no obvious way to measure the difference (unlike # of wings, size of steak, Ect.) please make sure you put in the right order. It's not easy to differ between 3 pounds and 5 pounds of crawfish outside of crawfish season when they're small. Seemed kind of like a low blow. read more

Two weeks ago we got catfish platters for takeout and it was good other than the hard tasteless hush puppies. A week ago we ordered three catfish platters but after thirty minutes drive home we discovered they had sent three catfish baskets. The catfish this time was about half ok pieces and half with very little fish in crust. Hoping the last time was a fluke we again today picked up three catfish platters. The catfish was practically non existent but was mostly fried tough mealy crust. Sadly we will not be going back to Wawa's. read more

This time something happened we have never had before we were charged an up charge for using our credit card. I understand this in some situations but I have never had it done on dinner for two. I ordered the 1 lb boiled shrimp basket which comes with 2 potatoes and 1 corn for $13.99. My shrimp was boiled really good and not over boiled or over seasoned. I felt like they give you more than a pound of shrimp. My daughter & her fiancé ordered the 2lb boiled shrimp basket and added boiled mushrooms. His parents got 1 lb of crawfish and 1 lb of shrimp.
