We happened upon this bar - mainly for the line dancing! They were having a *free* lesson and then more real line dancing. The lesson was fun and easy, the leaders and others (who seemed like regulars) were fun and helpful. We jumped in on a few dances where we could catch up with the steps - then got off the floor for the complicated ones and watched. We didn't eat - so not comment on the food. But there was water on the bar by the dance floor and that was much appreciated - LOL! read more

The actual bar is super cool and had a great venue setup. The food is pretty mediocre. I was there during the day to have drinks (over priced and okay) and ordered some food to go. As you can see I ordered a $20 Carolina burger but instead got the pulled pork (I am not a huge pork fan so I am not going to eat this and just wasted $20) and the meatloaf was very dry. I don't think I will be back for a causal drink and hangout again after that but would be back for a show. I did try and call the establishment about being charged for a burger and receiving the wrong thing but the phone takes you around in circles and there is nobody to answer you. Beware...the server stole nearly $300 in cash from my family. My family and friends spent an evening here on March 28th. We sat down to eat and immediately asked to put a card on file when we sat down to eat. At the end of the meal, the server brought out the check. We told her that we wanted to pay in cash since we were splitting the tab between 3 families. She basically pocketed all of the cash AND also got to keep the autogratuity that was added to our meal. We did not realize she charged our card on file as well until a few days later when we were back home. We disputed the charge and emailed Category 10. No one responded to my email, but they made sure to sign me up for automatic emails. Unfortunately, there is not a phone number to call to try to speak with a manager on Google or on their website. Please go somewhere else to spend your time and money in Nashville. This staff is not to be trusted. read more

Oh how I hoped I would LOVE this place given I'm a huge Luke Combs fan and have been anticipating my trip to Nashville to actually be able to visit. A few things... 1. All areas were closed minus the area nearest the entrance. 2. There were roughly 30 patrons which I found odd given this place has only been open a couple of weeks. 3. Drinks are EXTREMELY expensive and contained about a 1/2 shot of liquor (no joke)...if you want to pay $17 for a soda called an alcoholic drink, enjoy! 4. Bartenders had crappy attitudes and didn't seem to care much about the level of service they were providing and those in my party are the laid back, easy going type. Overall a pretty poor experience that I left feeling highly disappointed by. Unfortunately, we will never return to this venue. read more

We went during Spring Break and when an event was going on at the local arena but thankfully Category 10 was not insanely packed. We were seated right away and all of the staff was so friendly. Our daughter was with us and was kindly treated by the staff encouraging her to request a song to the band playing. The food was all good from the chicken wings, burger, salad, crab cake, and my daughter's chicken tenders & French fries. The ambiance was really cool - as you walk in there is an open store front for the restaurant and also a small stage to the right surrounded by seating. There is a bar in the middle of the room separating the seating in the front to the venue in the back that also has some seating. There is also a balcony upstairs. Truly a very well thought out restaurant/bar/music venue. We checked out a few others in Nashville and this was our favorite as it wasn't small and crammed in. Check it out when in Nashville, especially if you're a Luke Combs fan! read more

The food was good and the ambiance and dance lessons were great. We came on Easter Sunday with friends from out of town to "show them Nashville" and I remembered that my friend was adamant about how it's a decently kid friendly place so I took a chance and brought them there. The only issue I had that made us feel at if we were not welcomed was the service. Not from anyone but our very particular server named Bethany #2996. She was seemingly already bothered by the fact that we grabbed a table that didn't fit us all. Asked if we had been seated by someone but we said no because there was no host at the front, just a security person. I had just come back from the bathroom to find out that she told our table we had to order something to keep the table which is fine, we were there to mostly dance but ordered drinks and two appetizers because we don't want to be "those people". She also seemed like we were bothering her when asking for anything. Trying to flag her down for a refill twice and feeling that she probably saw us and didn't want to really, I just grabbed another server who was not busy and smiling and told her I knew she's not my server but gould she flag ours down. She immediately insisted that I just tell her what I needed and she could help me. It was just a refill. Shortly after she brought it out our server suddenly came checking on us for the first time since taking our order. This was at least an hour later. After we finally had her attention she was asking me about the check and if we wanted to split it. I said I would ask my friends and she said she would bring it and let us decide how to. I flagged her down again and gave her my card for the whole tho g and asked for a box and let her know that she didn't have to split it. She was very prompt bringing the bill back after she had my card. After that, I left her $20 cash on $77 bill and then I came straight here to let y'all know that this place is great as long as you don't get Bethany as a server when you have kids. read more

We wandered into this place looking for a place for our husbands to watch some sports and boy did we get that chance!! One of my FAVORITE spots in Nashville! Not only were the TV screens and chairs to die for (the hubby's were ecstatic), the line dancing and party vibe right below was just what the wifey's needed!!! But what really made this stop special was the amazing personality of the bartender DIANE!!! She was so welcoming, accommodating and FUN!!! We had great conversations, great shots and got tons of great information on what else Nashville had to offer. To be honest all we wanted to do was hang out and party with her for the rest of the night!! Definitely a must do on the Nashville tour! I just want to comment not on the drinks or the food, but on the preparedness of the staff yesterday when a tornado warning was issued. Within a short time the staff had cleared everyone to a safe space in n the lower level of the building. All done in an orderly & efficient manner. Friends were at a different bar during the same warning down the street and the staff there apparently had no clue what to do. This place used to be my favorite bar in Nashville when it was the Wildhorse. I was sorry to see when I was here last year that it closed. I was glad that they kept the back portion of the club basically the same with the large stage area. This is where they have the line dancing that the Wildhorse also had. The front portion that used to be the long hallway and where the merch store was now is a smaller stage and bar area. We were there on a Monday night so only the front portion of the club was open. I like what they did with the remodeling. The band was good and the bartender was friendly. One of the better places on 2nd avenue to go. read more

Had high hopes for this new addition to the bar and restaurant scene in Nashville, but came away extremely disappointed. Bartender was incredibly rude (for no reason) to both my wife and my daughter when they were just ordering drinks. After that, ordered a Redbull and vodka (from same bartender) and asked for the can and bartender wants to charge us $5 more for the can of Redbull on top of the $12 drink in which he put a splash of Redbull. Pro tip for the bartender - if you want people stay later and drink more, give them the can. So we grabbed the can and bartender had security boot our entire party out of the bar. Then he had the gall to add an exorbitant tip to the credit card transaction (which is being disputed as it is fraud). Opry Entertainment Group and Luke Combs - you need to do better here. Your staff at this particular establishment need some serious training on how to treat customers. I've read numerous reviews of rude and inattentive staff, and for people that go to Nashville to spend their time and money, this is not a good way to launch a business. It's a big, fancy new place near Broadway, but this poor level of service will sink your investment and destroy any kind of repeat customer revenue. Do better. read more

What makes this a 4 star is Richard in the still and Bailey in the second floor. Let's start with with Richard when we went to the still. He know his whiskey and bourbon knowledge to a T. He was so knowledgeable in the all the whiskey and rum at the bar that I questioned him and I cannot be more than happy at his professionalism. He is a master Bartender and knows how to bring in the crowd. Cannot be more than satisfied from his service. Now for Bailey! She stepped up and took over for her co workers! We were left at the booth waiting never got attended and had to leave to another part of the bar. She noticed us and ask what happened and have us the best care we can ask for on broadway! She is amazing and I would ask for her service anytime I'm here. read more

I have never experienced this in my life. We had a bartender (short girl with black hair and freckles. working 1/19 at the front bar) completely ignore us. She said "i'll be right with you" because she had other people who were AHEAD of us and we understood that. However, after she helped those people, she IGNORED US and helped the people who showed up 5 minutes AFTER us. She DIDN'T help us until we were the ONLY PEOPLE REMAINING. FYI.... we were the only POC's waiting to be served. Unfortunate that they had bad service because the line dancing was so much fun. read more

I was so excited to see this place reopened again and my son was in town visiting so we went and had lunch... It came to $100 and we split a meal... The mail was not good... We got a pulled pork sandwich and the bun was stale, The waffle fries were not hot, but the deep fried pickles were OK... He got two beers, a shot of tequila, I had one beer and it was $100 plus tip wow! It was my treat for lunch ha ha to my surprise! I wouldn't mind it if it was a good meal, but it was far from that... Brought my Husband to Nashville for his Birthday. He is a huge country music fan, and we have hit every artist owned club on and around Broadway. This is the best club by far. Clean, plenty of room, Great vibe, family atmosphere, excellent service, huge dance floor. Loved the way that staff and musicians interacted with the crowd. We were in the 3rd floor sports bar this Saturday afternoon. The problem arose at 430pm when, after several hours there eating and drinking their signature drinks, they attempted to charge us $100/seat for the lounge chairs we had been sitting in. Apparently at 430 the section turns to VIP and you can either pay the seat charge or move. It doesn't matter how much you have already spent or how many open chairs they have available. We watched management discussing how to approach us and one other couple. The male manager then sent one of the waitresses over to ask us for our credit card to charge us for the seats. That's some top shelf bad management! We are locals who won't be able to recommend this bar to our visiting friends and family. read more

Really huge venue/club/bar, very few people when we went ( Sat 6pm) line dancing lessons were mainly staff sent down to join. Drinks expensive and they have a rule that any foreign photo ID ( driving license) must have a passport too or they will not serve you - interesting considering the amount of tourists in town - no other bar does this on Broadway - it would also help if that was advised at the entrance when you come in and not after the rest of your group has already ordered!
