My fiancé and I were walking on 1st Ave and realize how hungry we were and saw people eating pizza that looked really good so we went in. We stood there waiting for someone to greet us. 5 minutes later we are just awkwardly standing and everyone is looking us so we just found a spot for ourselves. We sat there for about 10 minutes or so and no one ever came to us, we were never even acknowledged. So we left. I'm white and my fiancé is black and I'm not one to pull out race cards but being in Snohomish where it's ALL white people and no one serves us while being there for 15 minutes it does make you think "are we being ignored because one of us is black?" Wether they were racist or just terrible service we were never served (and it's not like we were hiding, or was it that busy). I work in the restaurant business where our customer service is the most well known across and the country and I know this would never fly no matter what the situation is. I never wrote a review before, never thought it was worth my time, until now. For the record, not calling anyone racist, just saying my fiancé and I wondered that because of the area we were in but definitely thinking that it could of just been bad service and that no matter what the issue was it still wasn't ok. This place has a good beer list, good happy hour, some good pizza combinations and really good cheesy bread. We probably live way too close to this place so we will be there often. We ordered way too much for two of us--the cheesy bread, a 12" meat pizza and the one with goat cheese and honey (which was like dessert) and took more than half of it home. read more

Been there before, food was good. But today, unfortunately, I feel like we just got kicked out of a pizza joint. Is that a thing? It felt weird. So what happened was we ordered one drink and a pizza. The owner who was our server seemed receptive to our witty conversation. For example, we shot the breeze about the choices for salad. It seemed amicable and humorous. Upon our second meeting with our server (remember, the owner of the restaraunt), we felt a little antagonized by his response to our request for a second drink. He stated "you can drink more if you stay here but I am worried you are overserved". To which we responded that we were walking and that we only had one drink. He immediately said the same statement. He made us feel conflicted and overserved and quite frankly guilty for how we were portraying ourselves. We lost our appetite and felt he was pushing us out. It ruined our Friday after teaching all week. Sad start to a weekend. And it felt weird that he was the owner and making us feel awkward. read more

I have come to Cathouse a few times since moving to the area. It is in a quaint part of downtown and is a bit small in size. What it lacks in form it definitely makes up for in function by crafting a very well done pizza. From the perfect crust to the fresh ingredients, I have not been disappointed. On a side note, they sell pizza by the slice, which is a nice touch if you're not into taking home leftovers...sacrilege in my book, but hey, to each his own. read more

we ordered (my son and I ) linguine and a salad with chicken. The waitress forgot to include the chicken on my salad. Otherwise , the food was good and reasonably priced . Imagine if you will a full legion post and lunch got forgotten? Now imagine the smiles and applause when Cathouse Pizza brought in 5 really huge pizzas to feed the masses? Within 20 minutes! OMG, pizza was great but the customer service was right up there as well. When realized that the lunch for our event was not coming I ran across the street with crossed fingers they were not too busy and could rustle up a few pizzas. THEY WERE PACKED! But that did not stop the gals from taking my order for 5 XL pizzas, each one different and a solid commitment, we will be there in 20 minutes. They did it too. Everyone was in love with the pizza and the fact a neighbor was there to help. Thank you Cathouse, you are a great neighbor to the Legion and your pizza is fantastic. Your employees are wonderful. Great place to stop for lunch in Snohomish. Thin crust pizza was very tasty. Also got the Crazy Cat Cheese bread, which was REALLY cheesy and delicious. They also had some good looking lunch specials I will be coming back to try. Service was quick and friendly. read more

Came in to have a slice of pizza with my four year old son. Really awesome atmosphere, sport themed. It has the feel of an old school family pizza place. Reminds me of places I used to go to when I was a kid on the east coast. The owner is super personable and attentive when you walk through the door. Again, very east coast appeal... We ordered two slices of cheese pizza. The pizza is delicious, the sauce is the money! I also love when the cheese melts off the slice! Very well done! This joint looked promising, but ended up neither disappointing nor being exciting. I shared the cathouse pizza with three friends. Aesthetically speaking the pizza was impressive, but I soon began to change my mind as I moved it from the serving plate to mine. The first thing I noticed was the large amounts of garlic used, normally I'm a big fan, when not visible though. Then there was the complex tastes of the ingredients used. It seemed like they were fighting with each other. Overall I was neither disappointed or impressed, but I will give the place another try on the off chance that it was the pizza selection. read more

With a diverse group, including dairy-free and gluten-free individuals, we were still able to have a great meal. The atmosphere is inviting, with some sports on, classic rock on the radio, and some really spectacular memorabilia on the walls. Look for the drums. To be fair, we only tried the pizzas. Three different styles, including a veggie selection, and each was given a thumbs up from all involved. The choices are a little unconventional without getting too crazy, but you can build your own if crazy is your flavor. The service was excellent, but it was a quiet weekday. The food was a little slow to come out, but we are talking about pizzas from scratch; if they had been ready in 5 minutes, we would have been disappointed. read more

I was thoroughly impressed with HUGE by the slice pieces (2 are almost too big for the plate). We added some warmed pesto on top which smelled so good & was a perfect addition on top. Cathouse Pizza is a great little sport's bar. There is plenty to look at with the decor. I loved the full drum set hanging upside down. We had the bread sticks. VERY good. You must love garlic to enjoy them. The Crazy Cathouse pizza was prefect. Just enough garlic, not to greasy. My husband normally doesn't eat the crust. But he did this time. So that's saying a lot about the crust. We'll be going back and will take friends with us. It is a little on the spendy side, but I think it's worth it. Got there at 7:00 pm. Had to drive around to find parking as the strip was packed. Restaurant was clean, rock and roll music playing at comfortable volume, sports and Rock&Roll memorabilia covering the walls. Ordered half and half pizza (meat and veggie) and a local Micro-brew. My husband and I LOVE this place. By far our favorite place for date night! We originally started going because a friend of ours was bartending there... she moved on, but we are still hooked!!! The new ownership is awesome! The change in chairs alone AMAZED me!! What bulky chairs they had before... mad props to the new owners for simple chairs that aren't cumbersome! The thin pizza is awesome - I am not a thin crust person, but the homemade dough makes it soooo worth it! We frequent this place so much, we should probably buy Cathouse Pizza stocks! The hubby's only complaint is not getting his Stella Artrois in the fancy Stella glass... the old owners used to do that - I think it makes him feel classier or something!? read more

The pizza was great the first time we went. We got served by the owner it was on a Tues... My mom forgot her I.d. so she didn't get a drink. Which we understood. We went again last Tue.
