I have been here two times and I think there's pros and cons here. The first time it was just my wife and I and the second time we were with the kids. Always try to give the establishment a second try when my experience was subpar the first time. Pros: Friendly staff with people smiling. They're welcoming and it's a little awkward to get past the tables to go in to order but you order and then sit down. The memorabilia on the walls is interesting to look at and I have a good time taking it all in. Great location for a pizza place as downtown Snohomish gives great views. Cons: The pizza... I think when you pick up a piece of pizza and the toppings, cheese and everything falls off that's not good. I thought maybe the pizza was the issue the first time, but we ordered a large pizza the second time and the again you cannot hold this pizza. You will need to lay it flat and eat it with a fork. Maybe this is the thin crust style, but when I'm using both hands, being careful and nothing but grease and all my toppings slide off. I don't think we'll be going back. read more

We live in town and prefer to spend our money at local businesses. We also love to use our Entertainment book so when you have a $20 off entertainment coupon & great food it makes a great meal! The pizza is thin, crispy and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. I am not really a fan of a lot of cheese but apparently this place is. If you like TONS of stringy, yummy, gooey cheese than you're in luck! The reason I gave it a four star and not five was because when we took our leftovers to go they boxed it up in basic styrofoam boxes which left our pizza mushy & stuck together the following day. A cardboard PIZZA box would be a much better option for the customer AND the environment. Also, we ordered the Crazy Cathouse Supreme and they forgot to put the fire roasted peppers on it. Also, the Pile High Pepperoni was really just the standard amount of pepperoni. There were plenty of bare spots on the pizza and that to me does not constitute as 'piled high'. We didn't realize these errors until after we left. Overall the service was great, the bathrooms were clean. We'll be back for sure and again, it's a must eat. Just be sure to check that all of the toppings you ordered actually make it to your pizza. read more

We ordered some pizza and the seal sliders. The pizza dough was just ok, the taste wasn't so bad. The sliders though were very dry and somehow the buns soggy and poor presentation. read more

We ordered Cathouse pizza yesterday and had it delivered to the Snohomish Aquatic Center for a birthday party. The delivery was on time. That said, A) the pizza wasn't that good. It was an unremarkable thin crust with lots of cheese. The crust could not stand up to the cheese, it was flimsy and mediocre. The toppings were similarly sparse and unremarkable. B) The order taker suggested 4 large pizzas for 10 kids, which is nuts. We only ordered 3 pizzas and still had 1.5 pizzas left over. Not impressed, won't be back. read more

The pizza was so incredible good, taking a picture of it was the last thing on my mind. The staff was friendly and on time with my pickup order. The cheese bread appetizer was essentially a pizza...though messy, very cheesy and good. The pizzas are served with a thin crust foundation and stacked loaded and heavy enough to explode your gut. Crispy, clean, and family friendly...this shop gets the job done. read more

Walking around old town snohomish today my bride and I stopped in at cathouse for lunch it was busy and the day was nice so we sat outside and we just enjoyed it, food was great service was on it. could not finish everything so we have food at home to finish. Nice place lots of choices food and drink will do our best to make more visits. read more

Been going to this Cathouse pizza for years starting when my kids were in little league up till their high school days. Absolutely love the pizza and variety on the menu. The atmosphere is always family friendly and they have a variety of beers on the menu. i've even ordered large meals for pick up when needing to feed whole softball team. I really enjoy the friendly service from Wayne and Kristin and the rest of the staff! Top notch spot and I will continue to go there until I leave this area. KC read more

My husband and I went inn and had pizza by the slice and a few drinks. Excellent service, and excellent pizza. I loved the cheese pizza. My husband loved the Hawaiian pizza. The pepperoni is delicious as well. Everyone should try this place out. Highly recommend! read more

Go ahead and order from these people if you want terrible service. We tried to order a pizza for delivery and they told us they wouldn't deliver even though they deliver to our next door neighbor. Restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly and prompt. Husband says meatballs were pretty good. As a GF mom with a GF kid we were excited to see they have GF pizza. It's a 10" pizza for $17.75. WAY TOO MUCH MONEY! I can go to MOD for under $10 and get as many toppings and as much cheese as I could possibly want. The GF crust was herby which was a nice twist but it was not crisp at all and somewhat soggy in the middle. The toppings seemed fresh and tasted good. We asked for light cheese on half and the cheese was so light on the entire thing I could hardly tell the difference between light cheese and normal cheese. Honestly for the money, there are better GF options. I have them 4 stars because I think if you aren't GF, it's probably fine. read more

Absolutely love this place. Great service ever time, we used to always sit at the bar but sat outside bc COVID & was very enjoyable. I always leave here feeling fully satisfied. Their food is my favorite. I always get a large garden salad with the Italian balsamic (my mom gets ranch) & it is always phenomenal. Comes with a wonderful breadstick that has great flavor, great croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers, parm, & black olives which are my fav. We both always eat every single bite. Terrific salad & equally amazing pizza (of course). I usually get a slice of Hawaiian which is great & my mom normally gets pepperoni (which always looks bomb). Overall would recommend every time. Also side note, we noticed almost every single table ordered the fries to either start or to split so apparently they also have amazing fries....I wouldn't know but will have to try at some point. read more

We had Cathouse Cater our wedding. 150 people, pizza, salads, apps, beer, and wine. They did an amazing job, made planning easy, and we are still getting comments from guests on how good the pizza was. We didn't have a wedding coordinator so we were worried about managing everyone while still trying to make the day what we wanted. Wayne and team handled everything without any attention from us, and it couldn't have turned out better. I would strongly recommend Cathouse to cater any wedding, party, or event. The pizza was great and the Meatball appetizer was fantastic. The service this day was lacking however. The waitress was new and never refilled our drinks. I am not sure if the service is always this bad but the food was very good. We had the cathouse steak pizza and a meatball appetizer with mushrooms, onions, and peppers and it was amazing. Cathouse has been around for a while and yet I never tried. I went on a Friday nite so the joint was jumping, very good vibe in the place. Since I never had their pizza we order the cat house special, half white sauce and half red sauce. The pizza came out timely and it looked like it was cooked to perfection. Only the crust was cooked perfectly, the topings were cold. It was a oddest thing I have ever experienced in a pizza. I recommend only for the atmosphere great service. Pizza not so much. read more

While the food is good, the prices are way out of line! I mean $30 for a pizza? I get tiny wings and it costs $20! I mean one can get a full meal at a real restaurant for these prices! I look at prices online and they are different than in-house. The printed menu has different pricing than the other two ways! They must change pricing often! If you don't care how much you spend, you will enjoy it, but if you are on a budget, get a giant pizza at Costco for $10! read more

We had our 4th annual Christmas Eve Family dinner at Cathouse, Wayne is kind enough to stay open for us to have our family get together at Cathouse. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic. If you like great pizza and pasta in a family friendly environment I highly recommend you vista Cathouse. I was a little disappointed. I had ordered the pizza for pick up. The disappointment came from the onions and mushrooms were raw. The cheese was melted but not the golden brown. A few minutes under the broiler helped, but when you just want to dig into a pizza...having to cook it additional when you get home was a bummer. The crust, sauce and cheese were tasty. I liked that the sausages were slices and not grounded. Maybe the oven wasn't adjusted correctly or the prep cook cut the onions to thick. I've only ate there once for the lunch special. Wow, I was surprised. I don't care for thin crust pizza, but I have to admit this was good. The toppings were delishes. The special I think is 6.99 and I got two slices of pizza, 1 beer and a salad. I could not eat the second piece and took it home. I was wondering if it was a mistake I got two slices? Oh well. The decor is cool. 5/2011-they changed this lunch special :(. I went to bring my husband and read the menu outside. Instead of $6.50 as it use to be. As memory I think it says 7.99 for a slice of pizza and salad w/out the beer. Add 1.00 for it or 2.00 for another type. Guess thats not a deal anymore. To bad. 3/12: UPDATE 11:30-3:00 pm. Love their pizza here! Prices are a little outrageous, but if you want a good place to sit down and eat some pizza with friends, this is it. Service could be a little better, but not horrible. Pizza was OK at best. Small slices for the price and it came out of a box. I must have thrown the server off by having my 4 year old son with me. She started off by telling us he had to stay out of the bar area(which he wasn't in) the bar entrance near the door and we were going to sit outside. She later grabbed the Parmesan cheese shaker out of his hands as if he wasn't old enough to shake it onto his own slice. I'm not the kind of parent that lets my child run amok so I was a little taken back. I won't be back. To top it off the server charged me for another tables food and got an attitude when I brought it to her attention. Service was terrible and rude. Maybe it was an off day. We visit Snohomish every couple of months and I finally convinced my husband to eat somewhere other than the Mexican restaurant across the way. I was excited to try the pizza here. It was Sunday and a little busy, but not packed. There was indoor and outdoor seating. We have a baby, so we were able to put her stroller at the table with us, though it was a tight squeeze. Food - We ordered a meat pizza and it was...meaty. So meaty, which was nice - got our money's worth of meat - I couldn't tell if I like the sauce or not cause all I could taste was yes, the meat. So sure, the meat tasted okay, but I couldn't gather at all if the sauce was good or not, or if it had sauce. Would I return? Yes. We saw someone next to us eating some kind of cheesy bread or cheesy pizza which I would get the next time. Service - great service. Everyone was really friendly. We got our food fairly quick, but then again it wasn't too busy. Sports-themed restaurant. Clean. Nothing fancy. We'll be back to try other things for sure. read more

I've mentioned in other reviews how hard it is to find good pizza in WA. Something about the water makes the crust not as good as it is on the East coast and the crust is by far the most important part. These guys are solid though. I love the ambiance and the pizza is great. Solid topping selection and the sauce is very good. The crust is above average for WA but not consistently crispy yet chewy like a perfect crust should be. Please don't take that as too negative though. They do very well despite the geographic challenges and I'd say that there aren't many places that could be considered better in the entire region. If you want a Hawaiian pizza, this is your best bet in Snohomish County since Brooklyn Bros doesn't offer ham or pineapple toppings. I will eat most pizza toppings but one of my favorites is something I created that I call the "Hot Hawaiian" It has ham, pepperoni, pineapple and some sort of peppers, preferably jalopeno. We have been to this place several times since our first review and love the Cathouse. Their chicken quesadilla is full of big chunks of roasted garlic, roasted red peppers great cheese and much more goodness, it is huge and so delicious! If you like roasted garlic the Cathouse does it right. The customer service is top notch; we have never once had bad service here. Not only that, it is clearly important to Wayne (the owner, who is always there) that the food coming out is fresh and he goes the extra step to make sure you are going to enjoy your food. Bartenders are always attentive, never let your glass get empty and are close by if you need anything. They always have a good selection of beers on tap as well. Our first visit for dinner this evening was enjoyable. We had the garlic breadsticks and a pepperoni and sausage pizza. The breadsticks were fabulous. Cheesy, garlicly and oh so good! The pizza was a bit greasy - but we ordered pepperoni and sausage - so what do you expect? The thin crust was perfectly done - and the sliced sausage was very tasty. Great service too! read more
