Cats at the studios are the best. Fosters are extremely knowledgeable and they will go above and beyond to help you out and find the right cat that fits your household. In my case, I wanted to adopt 1 Turkish Angola cat. But they come in pair. So I ended up adopting 2 kittens and they're the best

    Bono & Miro

My wife and I had a wonderful experience adopting cats from Cats At The Studio and we definitely recommend this organization!! We adopted our second cat Bono from Jody and our third cat Miro from Anniko & Mihoko, and both times the team was so sweet and caring, and very thorough with the process. I could tell that they really care for and love the kitties. They even followed up after the adoption to make sure that the kitties are adjusting well. I can't thank Jody, Mihoko & Anniko enough!!

I'm sorry to see so many bad reviews. My experience at the Woodland Hills Petco was good. The application process is a bit time-consuming, but I felt it was great that the vetting process ensured that the cats would go to loving homes. We adopted a five month old sweet kitty; She is a joy. "Maybel" and "Marcel" were very helpful, and so eager to help with answers. These ladies work their jobs and then give time and love to the rescued cats. The cats come complete with medical records. Our cat was even seen by an optometrist (she has a "winking" eye due to a birth defect). Bless the volunteers at Cats At The Studio!

We had a great experience with Cats At the Studio! I reached out about a cat on the website, and Cheri followed up same day to let me know that while that specific cat had been adopted, she'd be happy to help me find the perfect kitten for our household. She listened to our personality and coloring preferences and promptly connected us with fosters in the Cats in the Studio network. One of the connections she made was to Dee, who immediately connected us with Leslie, one of the foster moms. We were able to arrange to visit the kittens in her home that evening. Leslie goes the extra mile by bottle feeding orphaned kittens; she raised our little girl and two of her brothers from 2-3 weeks until they were ready for adoption. They were obviously well taken care of, well socialized, and had received a lot of love. Leslie was able to answer all or questions about the kitten's history and demeanor, and she was very welcoming. She gave us time to play with the kitten, and of course we decided that this was the right kitten for us! Dee even stopped by with the adoption paperwork, so we were able to take her home that night. She even came home with a goody bag of toys! It was a pleasure to work with all three women, each of which who went above and beyond to make our experience great and ensure the kittens received good homes. I've adopted through other great agencies in the past, but this was truly next level. Our little kitten has been with us for about a week now. We think she is amazing... but her big cat brother is still getting used to sharing his space! Thanks Cats at the Studios!!!

Post that phone call, my feelings about the way she handled herself Changed, and I was wary of her. Despite her assertion that I had no idea what I was looking for, I told her precisely what I was looking for: a bonded pair of cats that were a little older, say two years old or older. I had just lost my cat and my dog. I had also just lost my husband. All this within four months. I found my house too quiet without the pets and my husband, and that is why I reached out to Rhae. I wanted something to care for, a bonded pair of cats seemed exactly what I needed, having had cats all of my life. I never bad mouthed other rescue organizations, other than mentioning the southern golden retriever organization from whom my husband and I adopted two fabulous golden retrievers. While the dogs were great, the organization was not. Unfortunately, I am in very good company as pertains to being dissatisfied with that group, and I only mentioned it to Rhae when she specifically asked me if I had worked with other organizations. The forum of yelp asks for reviews. They do not ask for only positive reviews, they asked for both negative and positive, and I have given both, so on that issue and only that issue, Rhae was correct. The vetting of my house was not done by Rhae, it was done by the other woman, and we had a delightful time. Rhae is clearly a bitter and unhappy human being who calls anyone slightly older than she "elderly. "Indeed, I have let my hair go salt and pepper since Covid. That does not make me elderly. Indeed, I shared with Rhae that I had a major back surgery the year before, which is why kittens were out of the question because I could not bend as often as they might need me to. That does not make me elderly. That makes me aware of the limitations of my body and reluctant to jeopardize my health. That also makes me someone who wants to completely fulfill the needs of whatever cats I adopt. Don't believe Rhae's gaslighting. It is as fake as she is.

You should also probably avoid it if you live in the "PITTS OF LA" as was also described by this person. In my opinion had my last name not been Spanish and my zip code been a little more white I wouldn't have been so gruffly turned away after 1 email. I have always owned cats, in my 33 years on this planet my family has had a cat in the home for all 33, three wonderful little companions who we have loved and who have all had long well loved lives. I lost my cat of 15 years and had started looking for another little one to adopt. I saw an advertisement for a Maine Coon kitten on the adopt a pet website which redirected me to Purrfect Solutions website, I sent an email to establish my interest in Meadow, the kitten. The initial response I got was to ask where I lived and if I would be okay with a site visit, to which I responded with my location and that I had no issues with a site visit. The next message I received dismissed me whole cloth, stating that Meadow was to be adopted with another kitten there, something that was not on the website or in the initial email message from Pat. The dismissal was terse and unprofessional. It was this message dismissing me whole cloth after initially asking if I would be okay with a site visit and where I lived that my opinion was formed. This woman dismissed me because I don't live in a majority white area and my last name is Spanish. I actually brought this up to her, in a follow up email expressing my concern. She did not deny it, instead speaking in coded language that these kittens had come from the "PITTS OF LA" and that she had received interest from people in "SANTA MONICA, MALIBU, SAN DIEGO, AND THE PALISADES." I do not live in a bad area, it is a nice valley suburb, I have a professional degree and steady income. But in my opinion I believe I am not sufficiently white enough or live in a sufficiently white enough area for Pat. Instead of denying my concern she only amplified my belief with her coded language, unprofessional tone and trite dismissal once she learned where I live. I do not recommend this place.

They rescue bunnies from high kill shelters - as anybody who has been to any LA animal shelters knows, there are tons of bunnies and guinea pigs bc unfortunately people buy them for their kids, realize they're too high maintenance and then dump them at the shelters. We came across BunnyLuv bc we unfortunately had our 9 year old angora lionhead bun lose mobility so we brought our boy in. The wonderful lady who runs BunnyLuv looked over our boy, gave us her opinion, gave him some painkillers and told us to take him to a vet (even providing a list of local vets experienced with rabbits since they are considered "exotics"). We brought our boy back for a grooming appt and the lovely gentleman groomer gave us some valuable advice on his care after the grooming appt. While we waited we also toured their back room with all the adorable babies who are looking for homes, along with a few Guinea pigs they took in from a local animal shelter. The bunnies and guinea pigs were all well taken care with ample room (bunnies need a 4' x 4' space). Their pens were clean, the animals were super friendly (a sign they have been handled well) and for grooming services their prices are more than reasonable. Everyone who loves buns should support this wonderful organization and the valuable work they do!
