WOW. JUST WOW Let start of with how easy it is to reach out to Cat. She is so quick to reply and to answer any and all of my questions. Scheduling the actual appointment itself was a breeze. You do have to leave a $50 deposit in order to secure an appointment spot. But that $50 goes towards you total cost. Arrive early because it was a bit hard to find the location. Its all the way in the back of the plaza in between Ross and a Goodwill. I was super nervous since I never done anything like this. Cat was very patient with me and spent close to 45 mins drawing them in to show me how it will look before hand and telling me each step of the way. She was very comforting and a joy to talk to as the procedure went on. The procedure itself took about 2 hours so plan for your visit to be around 3 hours. The initial drawing of the eyebrows does hurt a bit because she is unable to add into numbing gel due to the gel impacting the sharpness of the lines. Once the outer lines are done she will apply a numbing gel and then the actual process starts! Once the numbing gel is applied you LITERALLY feel nothing, If you start to feel anything you can let Cat know and she will apply more. Afterwards you will feel it sore and tender which of course is to be given. You are to return in 4-8 weeks for a retouch. I had previous brow work done by another artist, and wasn't really impressed by the outcome. Almost a year later, I came across Catt's page on IG! I came in for her cover up/correction service. I was a little nervous at first since I thought my brows would be hard to work with. My brows are uneven, I'm talking about one brow is positioned higher than the other. She started to shave some brow hair off first then mapped it. After mapping my brows based on my face structure and everything, she made sure that I liked what I see. The shape, the arch and everything of my brows then we came into an agreement and got down to business. Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but she uses numbing cream for that and she'll check with you if you start to feel the numbing cream wear off. After the procedure, she managed to make my uneven brows EVEN! Catt really pulled through! Got me looking in the mirror like, who is she????? Literally an artist who strives for perfection. I was super nervous about getting my brows done. I stalked insta pages for a year and never felt comfortable booking an appointment with anyone because either the price, shaping skills, or availabilities were off. When I came across @cattinks I immediately knew she was the one!!! What set her apart from the rest of the millions of other artists was her shaping skills. Every single brow had a beautiful shape which is hard to accomplish given that everyone's bone structure is unique. I booked an appointment which was super easy (on schedulista). I came in at 12pm and was done by 2pm. Super quick and easy process. Cat freehanded the shape using a thread instead of a stencil, which gave me brows that fit my face nicely. She also applied numbing cream, so it was painless. My touch up was also very easy to book. Cat responded quickly to my request and is super accommodating if the Wednesday times don't fit your schedule. Overall, I'm super glad I waited until I came across Cat to get my brows done. I came here from Santa Barbara to get my brows done after seeing her work on instagram and it was well worth the drive! Cat really took her time with shaping my brows and making sure they were even. She asked me what type of thickness I wanted, the type of arch I preferred, etc. She also took into consideration my natural brow shape that was already there and how the brow tattoo would be shaped according to that. I felt really comfortable asking her to make adjustments on shape. She made me feel super comfortable asking her questions and making comments, which was really great because this is staying on my face for a few years. The immediate end result was amazing! Of course the brows get lighter and change to a more natural color when they fully heal, but the shape is beautiful all throughout the healing process. My brows took about 7 days to scab and peel off. After healing, the touch ups appointment is made to make any adjustments you may want/need. My brows healed beautifully but I'm getting them touched up to get them a little darker than I initially asked for the first time :) all in all a great experience read more
