    Cinnamon bun-stuffed French toast

Oh my! Such an amazing find while we were in the area. Such delicious food (thank you, James!) including absolutely mind-blowingly great cinnamon bun stuffed French toast (pictured), their baked goods are scrumptious, and the coffee...if they don't have what you want...you don't know what you want! This is obviously a favorite of locals, and had both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about all their offerings. Extremely clean, a nice place to sit back with friends and have a tasty meal and a caffeine pick me up!

I was in town helping out family. I ended up coming here 3 out of the 3 days I was in town! I love this coffee shop. I wish we had one near my house. I have many reasons for loving this place. 1. They have a HUGE variety of coffee beans from different countries. I ended up buying 2 full bags the first time I was here. Then I bought 4 sample bags (makes one pot of coffee) on the 2nd visit. So far, Costa Rica beans are my favorite, but I've only had 3 of the 6 types so far. 2. Delicious lattes! I had the one with banana, chocolate & hazelnut. I also had their Nitro cold brew which was good. 3. Delicious food! My cousin & I shared the Vietnamese Chicken Lettuce Wrap & Korean BBQ beef panini. Both were delicious, but we both really love the Vietnamese wrap because it tasted so light & refreshing. The morning I left, I stopped for breakfast & had the Caprese Toast, which was delicious. The lavash bread was a bit tough to cut through but it's a good thing if you're eating it with your hands (like a sandwich). 4. Lovely ambience... very chill 5. Great service. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in town. I might even ask my hubby to stop by there to buy me coffee beans since he's often in that area for work. This is my new favorite coffee shop. Please open one in Tampa! Oh! One thing I really wish they would change... they should indicate whether the beans are light, medium or dark roast. You can generally tell by the smell, but it would be nice if they indicate it in their description since I sometime can't get a good smell of the beans from the packaging (even with the air vents).

Nothing like local independent coffee shops. I love the decor, the locals eating a sandwich or drinking coffee. Lovely place great coffee. Definitely a must. Enjoy!

On my way to golf at nearby Black Diamond I discovered a gem of a coffee shop outside the little berg of Hernando. It is much more than you would expect to find in a small town. They offer an extensive selection of single origin & fair trade organic coffees, blends, flavorings, loose leaf tea along with 8 kinds of decaf. All coffees can be put in k-cups. Jaime and Crystal were more than gracious to welcome me and detail their coffee & food options. I chose a Cappuccino with caramel flavoring. They have food options as well that looked good. P.S. Please come to Tampa and open a shop here!!!!!!!

I've been here twice and I've loved both visit! The coffee is great quality and there's so many options, not just for coffee but for tea too! The pastries are delicious and the customer service has been excellent. The coffee beans I bought made for a great coffee at home. My only qualm is that the iced latte is a little weak. Normally I always order iced lattes at coffee shops but here I prefer to get hot. It's nice to have a good coffee shop not too far from Dunnellon but If they opened a spot in Dunnellon, I'd go there more often!

Out on the outskirts of Citrus Hills and Inverness is the little town of Hernando..there are a few…read moreplaces to grab a bite and La Pergola is one of them..they are located in a strip plaza on the main road. They have an entrance for take out and also for dining in. I was greeted and seated right away when I entered. They have a nice sized dining room.. drink order was taken and wow, they have quite a menu and most of the meals serve, Garlic Knots and a Salad with your meal which is very nice. My order was taken and salads were served. They have a nice Italian dressing they make in house...Garlic Knots were served and they were hot and delicious. I ordered Chicken Franchese and Penne with Marinara for my side, they also offer fried and veggies as a chicken as well. They serve Coke products..The food there is very good, only thing on the Franchese, I would like to see it thinner filet and pounded.. ...I have been to their other location a few times and it did not disappoint! Ordered a piece of Chocolate Mousse Pie to go and a family member ate it and said it was very good..I will be back to try some of the other choices they have on their menu too!

My husband and I came from Chicago to take care of our friends' dog while they're away. We take our…read morepet-sitting duties very seriously--feeding, walking, belly rubbing--so naturally, we needed to fuel up for the task. Now, we have an unspoken (but strictly enforced) vacation rule: no cooking. If we so much as touch a stove while away from home, the vacation gods might revoke our travel privileges. So, out we went in search of a good meal. With plenty of choices around, one spot immediately caught our attention--and my Argentinian heart skipped a beat. Dinner was an absolute delight! The restaurant is small and cozy, and we managed to snag the last table (cue victory dance). We shared three empanadas, Fugazzeta, and a salad--all delicious. But let's talk about the Fugazzeta, shall we? For those unfamiliar, Fugazzeta is a glorious, cheese-stuffed pizza from Argentina. Picture an avalanche of gooey cheese sandwiched between two layers of dough, crowned with caramelized onions. It's a masterpiece. I have been in the U.S. since 1978, and I had yet to find Fugazzeta here--until now! The moment I saw it on the menu, I knew it was destiny. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Cheesy? Oh yes. Borderline illegal amounts of cheese? Possibly. Crispy crust on the edges, soft and pillowy everywhere else--pure perfection. The empanadas? Excellent. Paired wonderfully with a glass of Malbec. Service was warm, friendly, and welcoming--just the cherry on top of an already great meal. Now, my friend has been trying to convince us to move to Inverness for a while. And well... this place might just tip the scales.

Our waitress was very friendly and explained the menu since we hadn't been there before and pointed out specials available during the week. My husband got the clam chowder soup, my son got wings with sauce on the side. I chose the nachos that came out in a big charcoal can and the waitress lets them dump out on the plate from the bottom of the cab. Neat presentation but felt all the good stuff then ended up at the bottom and you had to dig through. The food was average. I also got the house margarita which was a great price but it watered down fairly quick. Overall, I'd try it again.

Once we ordered our beverages it took a while before we could put in our order. Maybe an extra server may have helped a bit. Our food finally came out and was pretty good. I had ordered a trio meal of the chicken wings which were boneless. I received an extra one. All the food was pretty good and hot. The tangy buffalo sauce didn't have much if any heat. Overall not a bad experience given the time of day. It seemed pretty average for service and good quality/taste.
