If being a wing guy was a personality trait, it would absolutely be mine…read more I grew up making regular pilgrimages to Buffalo Wild Wings and every solid local joint that knew how to toss a proper wing. Even after moving to Florida, I've had some great ones... but I'm always chasing that next "ohhh yeah" bite. That chase led us to Josie's Pizza and Wings -- and let me tell you, this was not a casual wing experience. This was a commitment to flavor. I went with the Citrus Chipotle. My wife stayed loyal to her signature BBQ (she doesn't mess around when she finds her flavor). The wings came out glistening like they knew they were about to be talked about on Yelp. First surprise? The onion rings. Dare I say... elite. Crispy, golden, not greasy, actual crunch in every bite. And the spicy dipping sauce they paired with them? Game changer. I would order those alone and be completely satisfied. Now the wings. Top. Tier. That crunch when you bite in? Immediate validation. The Citrus Chipotle brought the sweet heat balance perfectly -- not overpowering, just enough kick to keep you going back for "one more." The BBQ was bold, classic, exactly what a BBQ wing should be without tasting bottled and basic. You can taste when a kitchen cares about texture and execution. These weren't soggy, over-sauced, or phoned in. These were dialed in. Safe to say we'll absolutely be back. We left already talking about what flavors we're trying next. Josie's -- you've officially entered the wing rotation. Let's sauce up and dive in.

Cons: $3 for extra sauce is kinda steep, but OK - I knew that when I ordered - we've been through this in old reviews. I think they make it in-house? I just want to mention if you're gonna charge $3, please put a decent amount of extra sauce on there! I very much appreciated being told not to tilt the pizza b/c of the extra sauce (I seriously see me not thinking about that ), but there was NO sliding going on with the minimal additional sauce. Still - good quality product all around! If you want a good pizza...this is a good place to get it for sure!

We arrived around 5pm and we were able to pick where we sat. We sat at one of the booths and Brian was our oh so awesome server. He came over with a smile and a run down of what's good. We started with cocktails, we both ordered The Elderberry, it was perfect & so refreshing. For our entrees, we had both of the burgers on the HH menu, the Small Batch Whiskey and the Small Batch Lassahn. We also ordered The Salmon burger. For sides we had the regular fries and the Parmesan truffle fries. Everything was soooooo good. The beef burgers were seasoned so perfectly, and cooked medium as we requested. Every bite made my taste buds dance. The truffle fries were so good, I almost ordered more. The garlic aioli is a must for dipping your fries in. The Whiskey has lots of seating, tables, booths and bar seating. There's lots of pictures on the walls and tvs. It's a vibe for sure. I'm so glad we had lunch at The Whiskey and will definitely go back the next time we are in Orlando. Thanks Brian for making our experience awesome!

Happy hour was just starting or had started, but there wasn't anything on the happy hour menu that stood out to us. They had the Suncreek Brewery Strawberry ale on tap so I had a couple glasses of that. It's perfect for the summer. It's a very light and very refreshing beer. My husband drank Yuengling. We both end up getting a taster of Bourbon later on. My husband went with the six year Willet And really enjoyed it. He said it definitely got better the more that you drank. I opted for something that I've seen in the stores but haven't purchased yet. I was able to try both the dancing panda eight year as well as the dancing panda 10 year. A cheaper bottle of bourbon but definitely good flavor. The 10 was my favorite. For food, I got an order of the S & S sweet potato fries, which comes with a light caramel drizzle. These fries are cooked perfectly and so delicious. My husband got the garlic Parm wings, and while the crunch was perfect on them.(he ordered them crunchy) -he was not a fan of their garlic Parmesan sauce. It just felt like the garlic, overpowered any of the Parmesan. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and the two bartenders that were working the bar, were excellent and very attentive.

I'm so happy we have a place like this in this area of town, something we have definitely been missing. I always love the vibes here, whether I'm sitting in the main dining room or in the more casual bar area. I love that they do seasonal menus, as well as monthly menus that are often themed to holidays. I dream of the Kung pow cauliflower, and I love the deconstructed chicken pot pie when it's available (I believe it's seasonal). Their beer is also great, though I'm not a beer expert, so I can't really speak too much detail to that! Just a perfect place to go for happy hour, catch up with friends, bring your family, whatever. Always good service and great energy.

I had the brisket sandwich and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything amazing either. I also upgraded to the truffle fries and honestly, not really worth it. The fries were just okay too. I got a spicy margarita and I feel like tajín would've made way more sense than the sugar rim they used. One thing I did notice was the service. Nobody really checked in on us and at the end I had to walk up to the bar because my tab was never closed out. When I asked about it, the waiter looked a little bothered that I even asked and said he'd go find somebody else, even though he was supposed to be our server. Not the biggest issue ever, just something I noticed that made the service feel a little inattentive overall. Overall, not horrible, but probably not somewhere I'd personally go back to.

Before I even got my food, I had a great interaction with Mercedes at the counter. She was genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and didn't rush the moment, which set a really positive tone right away. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything on it, and when it came out, it was clear they don't cut corners here. The sandwich was fully loaded from one end to the other, with finely chopped steak that was juicy and well seasoned. The cheese was melted throughout instead of just sitting on top, so every bite had that same balanced flavor. Even with all the toppings, nothing felt overwhelming, and the bread held everything together without falling apart. It also came with fries, which were hot and crispy, and I paired everything with a peach Crush. That combination worked really well, especially with how rich the cheesesteak was. Between the quality of the food and the customer service, this is an easy recommendation. If you are craving a cheesesteak and want something that actually feels worth it, this spot is a solid choice. The ambience was just simple. It gave a mom and pop shop vibe, I love it.

The manager was going back-and-forth between being in the kitchen as well as seating people at the hosting stand which led me to believe that there must've been call-ins or scheduling has just been not great. We ended up being seated, but had to wait for them to clear off a booth because they didn't wanna seat in the other section. They clearly had closed off. We ordered our food, but our server seemed really disengaged like she was just going through the motions. Food came out super quickly. I did order a sparkling sangria that was nonalcoholic and it basically just tasted like Pepsi so not exactly sure what it was supposed to taste like but it definitely didn't have any sangria flavoring. My husband got a glass of water, but sadly you could tell that they must've either just got it out of the sink or just hand wash it because you could literally taste the soap. I got an order of the tamales, which were good. They definitely are a little spicy so be aware of that if you are opposed to spice, but the serving was large and I ended up taking it home to have for lunch the next day. My husband got the Carnitas and I will say the Carnitas seem like they were more shredded then they were previously. Overall, it was an OK experience. The jerk chicken, I got with rice and peas, mixed veggies and cabbage. The cabbage was a little strange to me- not as I imagined from Jamaica steamed cabbage. The mixed veggies were also basic - like boiled frozen mixed veggies. The rice and peas were overall good but tasted a little on the hard side. The chicken though! This was the highlight - it was very flavorful, though I wish I would be able to have the sauce on the side.. For the fried chicken meal - the fried chicken was nice and hot. I got this to-go and was worried it would get soggy but it still tasted great when I got home. Environment This is located in a plaza tucked away near the corner. It seems to be a more takeout restaurant. There is some seats inside for your to enjoy the food. Since it is in a plaza, there is plenty of parking available, but in front of the restaurant could be a bit tricky. Niceness of the staff I would say she was not on the nice side. No one greeted me upon entering also they seemed preoccupied and did not once gave eye-contact. Definitely not friendly.. but nonetheless I got my food. Dollar It is like the bang for your buck. I ordered via UnderEats and there are deals, it was very reasonable as you get 2 leg quarters! Yes I would definitely order takeout again

We choose to sit at the bar as it's open seating. my husband wanted the five spice chicken wings, and we were disappointed to learn that they've been taken off the menu. This is such a huge disappointment because that five spice dry rub was amazing. We ended up talking to the bartender and she said that they could do the lil sum sum (kids menu) wings naked and put the spice on the side. My husband chose to go that route (two order as there are only 3 wings an order) but thankfully, they actually tossed the wings in the spice, which was perfect.
