I stopped by this new bb.q Chicken location in Winer Garden and had a great experience overall. Went for the honey garlic flavor and it was delicious. They came out hot, crispy, and wonderfully garlicky, with that hint of sweetness. The texture was spot‑on--light crunch on the outside, juicy inside, and full of flavor. And than goodness these wings were not tiny, we've been to the other bb.q chicken location and the wing size always seemed to be small. I'm also a big fan of bb.q chicken gangjeong, soy garlic, and especially the mala hot flavors. A little disappointing that this spot didn't offer the mala hot flavor. Still, the wings were cooked fresh. It took about 20-25 minutes, but the wait was worth it since everything arrived piping hot, and we weren't in a rush anyway. The cheesling fries were a fun surprise. They were crispy with a sweet‑and‑salty seasoning that felt a little strange at first, but the flavor grew on me as I kept eating. Definitely something different, but in a good way. Overall, this location served fresh, flavorful Korean fried chicken with great texture and solid execution. AMAZING! Been saying for years that this area needed a good fried chicken place and even better we have in Winter Garden a KOREAN double fried chicken place. Not only that, but the best KFC (Korean fried chicken) chain in Korea itself. They just opened last Friday so may have some soft opening vibes. Does this place live up to my high expectations - indeed it does. Note that there is a wait associated with fresh double fried chicken - highly recommend ordering ahead or via mobile app to avoid the wait. Golden chicken is the unsauced experience but I prefer the sauced versions, both sweet like honey garlic or spicy versions available. We got honey garlic wings and golden half chicken. The half chicken option is nice to get bigger pieces and we eat it with pickled radish. The best part is even under sauce, the fry is crispy with nice flakey bits to savor and the meat is juicy and not overcooked since it hasn't been sitting in a warmer. There are sides like tteokboki, kimchi fried rice, sweet potato fries, onion rings, and fries available. Our toddler gobbled up his sweet potato fries that we then dipped into the honey garlic sauce (yum). High chairs available and lots of open seating for different sized group configurations. The ambience is nice and the service is very good, but I had the kimchi fried rice and it didn't seem to have a lot of kimchi in it just the seasoning. My fiancé had the fried chicken and the french fries with the cheese dust and the cheese dust was extremely salty. Plus there's a lot of Korean fried chicken places if you're willing to go to Chinatown there 1000 times better but if you've never been, I guess you wouldn't know the difference. Tried this restaurant for the first time. First of all the kimchi rice had no kimchi in it. It had kimchi seasoning in it and the boneless chicken wings were actually chicken tenders. The tenders were the frozen pre-cooked and battered type. Everything was extremely salty like overly processed food. Hours later all I could taste was the salt which left me very thirsty. Also had the fried rice - again, fine, nothing special and for $15.00 seems overpriced for something not any different than a local chain Chinese restaurant that charges half that. We then go there to eat at the facility, adding on the drinks and the unbelievable sweet potato fries, this avoids a weight of sitting there for 30 minutes for fresh food.
