I have been to Cava locations in Colorado and have been a big fan of the chain since first trying their food. This location in Austin has the absolute best staff I have ever witnessed. Miss J was incredibly friendly and had to work the entire service line and cash register by herself! Miss J, you are a true blessing!! Although the wait was long due to staff shortages Miss J had an incredibly positive attitude and was moving very fast!! I have not had service this great! I must also credit the back/kitchen because they kept all the ingredients stocked and appeared to be taking care of online orders. As always the food was amazing and I ate in the restaurant just to watch Miss j work her magic and brighten everyone's day. What ticked me off was the front service. There's a guy with snake bite piercing that complicated the entire intro to a simple order. I asked "can i have the spicy chicken avocado pita, but instead of pita can you put it in a bowl" . Usually I love going to Cava but my past two experiences at this location have been bad. Terrible customer service. The workers treat you with a terrible attitude and don't pay attention at all. I ordered online last night and set the pick up time for 8:15pm. I work in the Domain so I was able to get there on time, but once I got there my order wasn't in the staging area and two other people were waiting for their order as well. A worker came up to me asking for my name and then they started making my order (which was just one item). The place was pretty busy so I figured that was the reason, but a couple of workers weren't helping the people making orders just standing around laughing. The drink area was very unclean and the pineapple apple mint container was just left open, so there were gnats flying around it (and that's the drink ordered too), so I just got soda instead.
