The pasta dishes here are quite decent and the portion is always very generous. The chicken and shrimp Carbonara is my favorite, and the Lasagna Fritta is also pretty good.

Mimi is awesome! She was such a friendly, attentive server! All of our food was fresh and tasted great! The dining area was busy with happy patrons. The music plays softly in the background. We had chicken Alfredo, tiramisu, shrimp scampi, salad, chicken Marsala, n of course hot fresh breadsticks! Loved all of it! We will def be back!

    eggplant parmesan

Got the eggplant parmesan and veg fettuccine alfredo for mains, and both were solid. No complaints there. The minestrone soup was really good too, always a safe pick. Only thing I didn't love was the limit on salad

I ordered the Carbonara Alexandra per people's recommendations on Yelp, and also split the bruschetta with a friend. Everything is clearly freshly handmade and comes out warm. The flavors and textures are all there, and the outdoor food truck area is definitely a vibe. The staff were prompt, friendly, and gave good recommendations. I'd definitely come again and try something new! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the pasta options.

The person greeting us, even shared some insights for some upcoming shows. They'd be having that seem great to attend. It's fun to have that sense of community being welcomed into the restaurant as soon as you get there! We split up, and I went to grab seats while the other member of my party stood in line. Seating wasn't difficult, and it was well ventilated, which was highly favorable and much appreciated in the heat with missing fans, running constantly, cute ambience, lighting with the small bulb lights, and even bug spray available they make sure that this dining experience was covered on all bases so that you would have a great one. The menus are easily accessible, with multiple copies, being passed down the line, and sitting in the stand as soon as you walk up. However, after hearing about the restaurant online, and taking some time to read the menu prior to arrival, I knew what was on my mind - carbonara. From arrival to ordering with maybe about a 30 to 40 minute wait however, it was worthwhile. The dishes are made to order, with fresh pasta being used, making it even better. We opted for two half orders to share, and that was definitely enough food because we ended up even taking leftovers. We also got an order of the garlic bread with tons of roasted garlic, parmesan, and green onions. While the carbonara was flavorful and what my mind was initially set on, the other pasta actually ended up stealing the show and was what we finished immediately the Leopold had a pesto base and a nice hint of spice even without the peppers (which were taken off in our order). Overall, the most difficult part of this meal was parking, and the fight was completely forgotten after my first taste. They have a small lot, however, if you circled the nearby neighborhood a couple times you're sure to find a place to put your car.

I heard many great things about the food so I was excited to try this place. What surprised me most was the service! Our server, Brandy was the best server I ever had. She was so kind and accommodating. I couldn't decide between 2 cocktails and I wanted something balanced and sweet. Brandy recommended the Rosa Maria. She assured me that if I didn't like it, that I could get a new drink. Unfortunately, I didn't love it - the aftertaste wasn't smooth but overall it was good. She quickly followed up with me and kept her word. I wanted the drink to be slightly sweeter and smooth and the staff remade it. This time, it was perfect! I appreciate that Brandy was so accommodating for our entire huge party. She constantly checked up on us to make sure we were having a great experience. We ordered a ton of dishes. A few stand outs were: - the squash blossoms - tagliatelle alla bolognese - bone marrow pasta; although this was very rich! I'm glad we shared this There was another pasta dish that was on their specials that was so amazing but I can't remember the name. Overall, everything was delicious. The service was even better!

The complementary bread was somewhat lacking. Being Italian myself I found it just OK. We all had drinks and although I ordered two different speciality drinks, both were the same. I think our waitress got confused. She seemed to be having trouble with the tablet or she was new and was just figuring it out. The service was a little slow with me asking for a water refill and the waitress returning to fill only one of our group's glass. LOL. The inside was nice and it had a comfortable feel. Our total with tip was $400. It is definitely not someplace I would visit often due to the total, but we did have two apps and several drinks so that's on us I guess.

As it turns out the coupon was only good during the week and it was Saturday. No big deal. I ordered a Meatball Sandwich, my friend an Italian Sandwich (after asking our excellent young waitress about it). She brought out two very tasty types of bread with olive oil for dipping. The sandwiches came with Garlic Fries. The Fries were delicious but unfortunately mine were lukewarm. I certainly could have asked for a fresh portion, but was hungry enough not to bother. That's the reason my rating wasn't 5 Star. Because the restaurant was pretty empty on this Saturday afternoon, I feel the Chef shouldn't have sent out fries that weren't piping hot. The Meatball Sandwich however was marvelous. Freshly made, tasty meatballs with sauce and cheese on their focaccia bread was a real treat. I took half home and ate the rest for dinner. All in all, I'd come back here again as the food was excellent as well as the service.

We went on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy, but everyone who came in was still able to get a table. It feels very authentic. No Italian-American staples like Alfredo, meatballs, or garlic bread, which was actually refreshing since I'm so used to that style. You can either sit down first and take your time with the menu, or order in line before grabbing a table. Either way, they're very chill about it. Another cool thing: they're BYOB and will even cork it for you. Saw other guests bring their own glasses too, which was a nice touch. The pasta is clearly fresh. I'd recommend the macaroni with mushrooms and sausage. I got the tagliatelle with lemon shrimp cream sauce and loved it, though now I'm curious to try one of their non-cream-based sauces next time. Also spotted another table's lasagna go by and the portion was huge. Already excited to go back next time I'm in Austin. Definitely check this spot out!
