They got pretty good sandwiches options and nice curation of products. There are two things I wish they would make better: - it smells super strong in there because of the grill and oil smoking. If you walk in even for 3 mins, your clothes will reek of oil and meaty smoky mell. - some of their produce/fresh products are on their way out/at times expired like milk. Dia's deli is so yummy. We ordered breakfast sandwich and the turkey brie and split them. Both were so good and they have a great selection of hot sauce if you need some. There are chips and beers on draft with indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your food and drink. This is a whole store with groceries, produce and cleaning supplies I definitely will be back again. What an awesome market to go to! I popped in to visit a pop up shop located inside of the market. Parking was a breeze here. My little one enjoyed pushing the kid sized shopping cart around the store. This is a specialty market that actually carried a lot of items that we eat. They stocked items well so it's not overwhelming with lots of aisles. Makes it easier to find things so you can be in and out. They offer local eggs and milk which is a plus. They have a deli in the back. The sandwiches being made smelled so good. I am bookmarking this now so I can try one. They have seating inside or outside so you can enjoy your warm sandwich. I fell in love with Dia back in 2020, when it was pretty much the only place I shopped. Like the only one at all. Groceries for one, gifts for the one-off social-distanced gathering, WINE, etcetera. A friend and I had lunch there today. I read the reviews and thought we need to try this place. Such a pleasant surprise...our sandwiches from the Deli were great, their chicken salad was the bomb. The turkey was fresh and well seasoned. I bought some stuff from the deli, they had my favorite wafer chocolate filled Proulines. My friend had a black and white cookie, which I of course had a piece of, it was to die for. All in all this is definitely going to be a favorite spot for shopping and a sandwich. The staff was incredibly helpful, Corey, Benny and others. We sat there for a bit talking, eating and enjoying. A great little market with a wide variety of speciality groceries, a deli, and some beers on tap. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and customizations you can do between the bread you want on the sandwich. All of the sandwiches are unique and have speciality ingredients that you wouldn't find just at a Subway. The staff was super friendly and my food came out hot and fast. They have picnic tables at the front of the store where you can enjoy your food. Once you are done eating you can shop around for groceries. I am a big fan of this place! My friend lives just down the street from this place and she had never been. We came in for a sandwich and it was everything I wanted and more. I got the lunch rosemary ham sandwich on sourdough bread and it was great! The bread was incredible and the staff was so friendly and nice when I was ordering. I added avocado which was super yummy but know that there is a lot of full seed mustard on this sandwich if that isn't your thing. The store itself is also phenomenal. Way too over priced, and a lot of their produce is rotting every time I've visited. Definitely a posh luxury market for people who want specific brands. Although, I see nearly all of their products for half of the price at the HEB not too far down the road. I don't see the appeal other than its location in the Highland neighborhood. I've had their sandwiches before and really enjoyed it. I got a breakfast sandwich today and the place was pretty much empty. I don't mind waiting a while for my food so the wait time isn't really an issue to me. I added avocado to my sandwich which is 1$ more. I mentioned that when the man came to ring me up for my sandwich and he changed the price accordingly, but when I got home there was no avocado : (...so I paid more for something I never got. Am I suppose to check it in front of them? ON. POINT. i cannot recall a bottle of wine i've been disappointed by that i've bought here, ever. always on point. my regular thing is to scooter over and snag some bottles for the week/weekend. :: their breakfast menu--treat yo'self! get a breakfast sandwich and a coffee and start the day off proper :: their lunch menu--fantastic, delicious soups, sandwiches, and sides. grab a drink from the case (lemonade, sparkling water, kombucha, etc) to go with the lunch and eat outside in the covered patio :: their chilled beer and wine case :: they offer up rotisserie chickens throughout the week--a great deal for a whole chicken, and sides of potatoes are just a smidgeon extra. call in to save a chicken because they do run out! :: they sometimes do poups hosting a Mediterranean-fusion BBQ (KG BBQ) grillmaster and have live music playing. have had some great brisket while listening to music performed by 2 blind musicians! love the vibe. there are only a few places to sit outside and dine while you eat and listen to the performances, but get there early to snag a spot :: they offer some products i can't find easily anywhere else, for example, the spicy beyond burger breakfast patties. yum! So frustrating. Won't be returning. I had ordered two sandwiches at noon. There were a few people there ahead of me. So I waited 15 minutes. Then the same employee says he lost the order and so could I gave it again. Ok, mistakes happen. Then I waited another 10 minutes. There were three guys working hard behind the counter. I'm the only customer in the store. A different employee walks over and states they lost the order and what would I like? Really? Then I waited another 15 minutes. That employee walks over and says they don't know what I ordered. Could I order again? Nah. So now I'm 45 minutes in. Heck it's a couple of sandwiches. I'll go elsewhere in the future. read more

They have a great selection of high quality items and hard-to-find items (e.g. white, red, and yellow miso). If you haven't had a sandwich here yet-get one! Dia's takes that concept and brings a fresh approach to it with fresh organic options in a hip friendly space. It's my go to for forgotten and last minute grocery/beer purchases. I love Dia's Market! Hands down best deli in north Austin with options for gluten free, paleo, and vegetarian depending on your diet. Very convenient on my busy mornings. I enjoy the smooth breakfast blend drip coffee, which is self serve. They always have non dairy milk options (just ask) and low glycemic sugar options to add to your coffee or tea. I love the layout as everything is easy to located and grab. This is where I first tasted Eldorado Cafe goodness before they moved into a brick and mortar.
