Do not come here. The girl who took my order was incredibly rude. Keep in mind the restaurant wasn't even busy, so there was no reason for the attitude. Not only was she rude while taking my order, but she also went over to her coworkers, pointed at my friends and me, and made disrespectful comments about us. We were nothing but kind to her, so it was really disappointing to be treated that way. Cava, please do better when it comes to customer service and hospitality. Favorite cava spot, and as always love the variety of protein and greens as well as sauces we can choose from. Besides, their never ending innovation on next mix-ins! Awesome spots for Mediterranean bowl for sure. My fave will be their grilled chicken or harissa one, with super greens, and harissa sauce. This location gets hella busy on weekends and during lunch, which can be a bit frustrating because of the parking situation and if you're on a limited lunch break. But I came around 2:30 during the week and was helped right away. I love this Cava so much. Think of this as the mediterranean version of chipotle. Lots of items to pick from to make a delicious entree. The service is usually pretty fast and the quality never suffers. I usually get a salad bowl with falafel, red pepper hummus, harissa and tzatziki, all the veggies, pita crisps and tahini. The falafel is always warm and crispy. The flavors continue to complement the ingredients in my bowl. It lasts two meals and hits both times. Affordable and delicious. We grabbed dinner here last weekend and it was moderately busy. You order at the counter and can either build your own bowl or choose one of theirs already on the menu. I got the steak and harissa bowl and my wife built her own. The bowls were tasty and fresh. The steak had good seasoning, but was just a little chewier than I usually like. My only real complaint was the portion size. My bowl felt a bit light and I left still a little hungry, which was a bummer because everything was otherwise pretty good! Prices were fine, maybe a touch high for how much food you get. Service was friendly and efficient, and they helped steer us in the right direction on our first visit to CAVA. The vibe inside was modern inside. Parking is the biggest hassle since there is no lot for the restaurant and the garages nearby start charging as soon as you go past an hour. The portions of rice, greens, and braised lamb were perfect/ the same as I normally get for a bowl. But woah is me, when it came to the toppings!! I asked for tomatoes... and literally got three tomatoes. Not even a spoonful. I asked for more. Two more tomatoes were added. I decided to leave well enough alone with the tomatoes and I asked for corn. I got about one strict tablespoon of corn. I asked for more. I got a few more kernels. I've learned to not order the rice at culver location bc theirs is usually mushy. I ordered full falafel and no veggies bc I wanted as much falafel as I could. Full serving of falafel was only 4 count here. Century city was 6 balls plus veggies when I ordered "half falafel and half veggie". Dissatisfied for sure. Terrible experience at this location. I had a pickup order and stood at the counter for 30 minutes waiting. I told staff multiple times I had an order for pickup and got no response, no acknowledgment, nothing. They literally just stared at me without saying a word. After waiting all that time I finally noticed my order had been sitting in the pickup section the entire time, but nobody bothered to tell me or even point me toward it. I love cava but the service today was such a big disappointment. The employee serving the food looked very unhappy. The two young ladies serving the plates were throwing the food in the bowl with no type of care. It was very disrespectful and they did it to everyone that was in front of me. Was visiting from NorCal and wanted to stop by a Cava as my friends from SoC have always talked about it! I downloaded the app and ordered online so that specifying what I wanted would be easier. My friends got a Harissa Avocado bowl and Greek Pita, while I made my own salad bowl. Everything was ready by the time we came to pick up. Food was definitely solid, I wouldn't be raving about it but in my opinion would definitely choose Cava over other Build Your Own options like Chipotle! CAVA is usually my go to place to grab lunch because it's affordable good food. However, the quality hasn't been the same. The lentils were undercooked and crunchy. It was very strange chewing fully cooked parts of my bowl and then encountering hard lentils. Usually when ordering a bowl, they will ask if you want a free side pita on the side but I had to ask for it. The pita was not warm and cold from refrigeration. Black lentils and arugula in a bowl with their glazed honey chicken and steak, a long with several toppings, mostly the spicy ones. And baba ghanouj (eggplant). It was awesome. Dear Management at Cava-Culver City, I am writing to formally share my recent and deeply disappointing experience at your Culver City location on 7/22/2025. Last night, my aunt and I encountered extremely rude and unprofessional behavior from two male employees--neither of whom were wearing name tags. I requested extra pickled onions, and one of them dismissively responded, "I mean, this is all we have left." When my aunt later asked for the same item, he stated, "She took them all," referring to me. She asked if there were any in the back and he said no. That was hard to believe. This interaction occurred despite the restaurant still having over two hours left until closing. I asked why he was being so rude, especially since it was my aunt's first time visiting your establishment, and she was not receiving a welcoming experience. The man at the register, who initially claimed to be the manager, spoke with the rude employee and then said, "It's something wrong with her," referring to me. A young female employee apologized and mentioned they were having a tough day, which I appreciated. As my aunt attempted to express her concerns to the supposed "manager," he continued to cut her off repeatedly, saying, "Anything else?" When I asked for the name of the rude employee, the man refused, claiming he could not provide it. My aunt pointed out that all other employees had visible name tags except those two, so the refusal felt evasive. My aunt then requested extra steak (fully aware of the additional charge), and the man refused. Once again, the young female staff member stepped in and said that extra toppings were available with an additional cost--something we were more than willing to pay. When I informed them I would be contacting corporate, the man who had earlier said he was the manager suddenly backtracked and said he was the "culinary something"--I don't recall the exact title. Regardless, the conflicting statements were confusing and unprofessional. We were the only African American customers in the restaurant at the time, aside from one staff member. While I am not quick to assume motives, the lack of respect and dismissive tone we received makes me question if our treatment was influenced by bias. Whether intentional or not, the service we received was unacceptable, unethical, and far from the standard I have come to expect--especially compared to the exceptional service I consistently receive at your USC location. Attached are the receipt and photos of the two male employees involved. I was not given the correct management information, I have had to use my own searching on Google. I hope this message gets routed to the appropriate department. I sincerely hope this matter is addressed with seriousness. Customers deserve to be treated with basic respect and courtesy--especially when raising valid concerns. Thank you for your time and attention. I finallyyyyy went to Cava after hearing about it for a while. This is literally the Mediterranean version of Chipotle, but it's so much better. I got a custom bowl and added so many goodies. The options were endless. I got a side of the garlic pita chips, and the cucumber mint drink. My food was amazing! Extremely rich, and full of flavor. I can't wait to go back. I'd probably go to the Santa Monica one, as it's near my office. My rating: 9/10. I would've given it 10/10, but it's because of the very long wait. I can understand why though. read more

My dietician recommended a cleaner diet with increased greens and grains, so this is now my guilty pleasure for a lazy no cook kind of day. WOW! I love CAVA, my first time ever trying it was in Fort Worth, Texas and I was so impressed. This Culver City location however, please stay away... pessimal service! I went in with my friend on a Saturday afternoon. We walked in and there was a line by the Pick Up orders and only one person in line to order. After 4 minutes in line we wanted to leave. We watched as staff walked around confused and frustrated, clear signs of irritation due to morning shift not prepping items. As im in line my first thought was, why do I know so much about these people's shift?? It was a lot I probably would've left too but my friend had been wanting to go to CAVA since I'm always going on about it so we decided to wait 20 minutes in line. As we waited the line behind us go bigger and bigger and the Pick Up line barely moved at all. By the time it was our turn the girl making our food was so unmotivated and slow I wanted to scream. We watched her drag herself to make our food not once smiling, welcoming us, or offering suggestions to my friend who was new to the experience. When I got the register to pay I used my app for my Birthday gift and she couldn't get it to work. She totaled me out and when I mentioned I had a free item on my rewards she grew even more irritated and called her supervisor/ manager over. He was considerately more kind, and aware to his role and job and was able to finalize the transaction beautifully. It wasn't until we had gotten halfway through our meal that I realized we didn't get our complementary pita, and weren't even offered one at the beginning of building our order. We also compared the sizes of our bowls since we got the same thing on the menu, (only difference was choice of protein), and the quantity in each bowl was so different. There was no balance between both orders that were the same item on the menu. One had more grains than the other, the other had less vegetables than the other, and both of them were barely filled at all. Not only do I have the cava app, but I go to my nearest location in Carson every week for lunch since it's our company outing. This has conditioned me to understand, not only the quantities per serving, but also certain things that come included with certain meals. Let's be honest, CAVA is not cheap these meals range anywhere between $11-$30 per person! Getting mediocre servings plus horrible service is not what people pay for. Honestly, the ambience at this establishment was so draining that towards the end of our meal I had totally forgotten about the complementary pita and I really just wanted to hurry up, finish my food and go. Yesterday however, Just to compare I went to a completely different location in Manhattan Beach. This visit proved my suspicion that my experience at Culver City was nothing short of unbelievable and unacceptable. This review is not to deter anyone from trying CAVA, but to note the distasteful customer service we experienced in Culver City and to strongly warn future customers that if you're looking for a good first time experience, this location may not be your go to for that. read more

Love this cava location! The food is always fresh and the mobile orders are prepared quickly. The employees are friendly and they move the line quickly. The only downside is parking. You have to find parking in one of the various lots. So prepared to walk or to have someone jump out and pick up your order. There is plenty outside not inside. read more

We always love Cava and this one is no exception. I tried the Greek chicken pita and it was awesome! The pita bread tastes healthy and chewy (in a good way). The grilled chicken with yogurt and veggies (cucumber, onion) is filling and juicy. The only thing is eating pita is a bit messy as the sauce keeps dripping.
