Cava has quickly become our favorite weekend lunch place! Everything on the menu is delicious and healthy. It's like a Mediterranean Chipotle, where you can choose which ingredients you want, and Cava will put it together for you. My favorite item is the Crispy Falafel Pita, while boyfriend loves the Spicy Lamb Meatball Pita. The pita bread is fresh and soft, stuffed full of delicious ingredients, like pickles, pickled onions, tomatoes, and wonderful sauces. We love them all. Our favorite drink is the Cucumber Mint Lime Lemonade. I could drink it all day, every day. You can choose your own bowl or wrap, of course, or add to their standard items, but we get the pitas as is, and they're great. Come early or be prepared to stand in a line. read more

Starting this review by saying I LOVE Cava. This location has juts consistently missed the mark. I've been before in person and the food is still tasty even if the location is absolutely filthy. But I'm finally writing this review after ordering Uber Eats from this location the other day. My bowl flat out was just rice and main (roasted vegetables), none of the toppings were included whatsoever. And no pita, even though I selected it in the app. They are sloppy and it's not worth it, especially to get delivery. UberEats only gave me $5 back which was not adequate compensation if you ask me. There were not other options to discuss with a person or the store. All in all, come in person if you want to brave it. Otherwise, steer clear. I had a very disturbing experience at the CAVA (Store #70104). While I was picking up my order, I witnessed an employee, Joscueline, repeatedly accuse a Black nurse of stealing a cookie and putting it in her pocket. This was not a quick clarification she asked her three separate times, in front of other customers, in a way that was clearly accusatory and inappropriate. It was obvious the nurse was there picking up multiple orders for her ER department, yet she was still treated like a thief. The situation escalated to the point where the nurse felt forced to remove her jacket in public just to prove she had nothing. No one should ever be put in that position. It was humiliating and completely unnecessary. Whether intentional or not, the situation came across as deeply biased and unacceptable. Customers should not be singled out, repeatedly accused, and publicly embarrassed like that. To make matters worse, the manager, Henry, refused to provide a corporate contact when asked so a complaint could be filed. That lack of accountability only made the situation worse. This was unprofessional, disrespectful, and honestly shocking to witness. Based on how this situation was handled, I will not be returning. At that point every meal in that order should have gotten a free cookie. read more

The food here was absolutely amazing. I have had Cava multiple times at a different location but came here for the first time and it was better than any I've had before. I did have to let it sit for a while before I had the time to actually eat it, possibly factoring into the flavor, but otherwise, the best. The interior is spacious which is very nice as well. I ordered online so there wasn't any interaction. The only downside to it is limited parking or street parking, with very busy streets around, taking me an hour round trip for just 4 miles. read more

SOLID FOOD! Okay service. My dad and I stopped by here last Sunday around 4 pm to pick up a quick, early dinner. Surprisingly, there were a fair amount of people outside eating and a few people coming in and out to order. I got a "Build Your Own Bowl" and my dad got a "Spicy Lamb Meatball Pita." I have had Cava at other locations and this was my dad's first time. The food is always great! Always consistent in flavor and portions, and my dad enjoyed it! The FRIED PITA CHIPS are a must if you are getting a bowl! Service was a bit slow as I think they were understaffed, but still overall good! I am a forever CAVA fan but I am removing 1 star for two reasons: 1. I asked the gentleman who was prepping my bowl about the type of chicken they had available. THREE times he said it's ONLY white meat and they only use chicken breasts. I had been told something different at another location about six months prior so I was concerned. When I got to the register, I asked another gentlemen to confirm that it's white meat. He promptly said it's a mix between white and dark meat and immediately remade my bowl. I asked him to please make sure he let's his team know the same because I truly would have been upset if I discovered dark meat in my bowl when I got home, especially after I asked about dark meat THREE times! 2. My everyday order in Cava is falafel crunch bowl "everything in it except rice ." I said "yes everything except rice." Again she is asking me if I want greens and then I asked does it comes with greens, she said no. I said okay. Now she is asking me if I want grains in it. I said "yes everything except rice." And she is telling me lentils is literally grain by rolling her eyes. She was trying to start a fight .She was trying to teach me about grains. I said okay . Learn some manners and be classy and learn to treat everyone equally before getting a job. Your attitude is not going to get you anywhere and she asked the other girl "if she knows how to make falafel crunch" and passed bowl to her. The other girl brought the card in which it's written what goes inside it and she made the order.I felt so humiliated and embarrassed. I felt like she targeted me because I was not white. I was wearing a simple hoodie and pants and sneakers. I was not wearing anything flashy or putting on makeup. She was extremely rude to me. I live around the area so I do not have to be flashy or dripped in designer just to order food. I don't have desire to impress anybody. She treated me like I don't know anything. I speak five languages girl. I have never experienced that kind of behavior and I have been there before and other people have helped me. They are so nice and kind. I say it and they say "okay" and get the card in which it's written what goes in it and they make it. Is it my fault that I don't know what goes in falafel crunch bowl? Do I work there? I contemplated a lot if I was rude to her, I was not. I go there almost everyday. Everyone is nice except this girl. She herself is Hispanic and I don't know what made her feel like she is better and decided to treat me like trash when she could not even do her job and lash it out on customer for not knowing what goes in "falafel crunch bowl." My sister has been going on and on about how good Cava is so I decided to go today for lunch. I visited the Culver City location and had a pleasant experience. The only thing about this location is the parking situation. There's no designated parking lot for Cava but there's metered parking and other parking lots within blocks of the restaurant. There's a lot on Cardiff that offers 1 free hour of parking ($2 an hour after). The staff was so helpful with ordering especially Dante. There's a good amount of options so I had questions about the different protein, sauces, sides and toppings available. Dante was patient and helpful and just made the visit that much better. I ordered the bowl with the honey chicken and a mint/cucumber lemonade and it was sooo good. FYI the honey chicken has an up charge but it's worth it. The portions are smaller than I expected but still ok. I will definitely be back to try more menu items. Enjoy! read more

I am a big CAVA fan and enjoyed them in Phoenix now back in LA. This one in Culver City is another winner. The seating is great with plenty of booths as well as a nice patio and it's even near a nice park. I had the meatball pita sandwich and Greek salad. The salad was very large with plenty of delicious chicken, kalamata olives, feta cheese and hummus. It was one of the best I ever had. I also really like their drinks. The blueberry soda is my fav. Relative to other 'build your own' restaurants, Cava has a great price point, especially considering the rarer ingredients they use.
