Came here after a hike as it was conveniently located to the Culver City steps and my friend and I wanted a healthy food option! We found parking easily in their underground parking lot (yay for 2 hour free parking with validation!). We walked up to the gorgeous courtyard and found our way to this lovely restaurant. There was ample seating available both inside and outside but since it was a nice day out, we opted to sit outside. The restaurant has a fun and upbeat vibe with great decor. The service was friendly and prompt and our food was made quickly, without sacrificing taste or quality. I love how they label vegan options, which was helpful in allowing me to decide what to order. I opted for the quinoa avocado salad, which was huge and enough for 2 meals! It was a great mixture of grains, nuts, seeds and veggies, exactly what I'm trying to incorporate more into my diet! Stopped by after yoga class which was a perfect way to fuel up. The staff were friendly and quite quick with service! There's both indoor & outdoor seating. Overall, the place is very clean and bright. I tried the tuna avocado sandwich & the spring roll which was healthy & tasty. This is my second time trying health nut, and the first time at this location. I'll say parking is a little tough but the location itself is cute and simple. The ambiance is welcoming inside and the service was beyond efficient, as well as very welcoming and friendly by the worker in front. The food was really the star of the show here! The chicken bisque sandwich is so amazing and I felt like the portion was perfect. And the tuna avocado salad was huge and worth every bite. This is a family run small chain offering generous portions. Their salad is at least 1.5x if not 2x your Sweetgreen bowl and it was around the same price as Sweetgreen. I had the Quinoa salad which didn't have much quinoa unfortunately but the salad itself lasted me 2.5 meals. I was excited to see Health Nut expanding and having a location now in Culver City. Whenever I'm craving something healthy and clean, my goal to is Health Nut. I normally order their noodlerama and substitute the chicken for tuna. I also really like their spicy tuna sandwich. The food quality and service here is consistent with the Calabasas location, which is really good! Sometimes when restaurants start to expand, they loose their touch of quality. The only inconvenience was the parking. I got a little lost and wasn't sure where to park since I didn't see Health Nut when my navigation said I had arrived at my location. After driving around and making my way around I saw from the corner of the street that the location was facing towards the shopping center. I parked in the underground parking that mentioned Warner Bros and took the stairs up. I was happy to hear they validated so I was able to sit and enjoy my salad. I'm not sure if it would be possible for the building to add a sign with a list of their businesses so it's a little more clear for customers. read more

Located near one of the LA Metro train stops, this is a small location but I believe has many other locations throughout LA. We stopped in here around dinner time and it was fairly empty, but customers would come in for pickup or Doordash like orders (takeout). We found it to have good options even for littles as their noodle soup was good. The salad was really large and a good amount of greens for your daily intake. The place is really clean inside and there's a good amount of seating inside and even some outside. There is validation for parking in the garage nearby if you use a car to get here. read more

Newish fast casual location in Culver City at the bottom of a large mixed use residential/commercial/retail development with validated underground parking. Sleek design and squeaky clean interior looking out into a fountain and courtyard. Menu has a nice array of salads, sandwiches, noodles, poke and other healthy items. On this first visit, I had the high protein salad and a mango strawberry "greentini," both of which were tasty, nutritious and fairly priced. The salad is a large portion but I would have preferred all romaine lettuce instead of a mix with iceberg, and diced whole tomatoes rather than cherry tomatoes cut in half. The dressing livens up the salad without being oily. The "greentini" is flavorful, not too sweet and only 50 calories. I arrived during a busy weekday lunchtime when the crew was still able to prepare everything relatively quickly and efficiently. There was only one cashier though and lots of people in the back assembling the orders, maybe because they get a lot of online orders but there were also many who were ordering in store. While the cashier was really good at juggling everything, I think service would be improved by rotating one of the employees in the back to the second register at peak hours. I would go back to try other things on the menu but order ahead to reduce/eliminate the wait. read more

They have various different salads and vegan options. My favorite is the spring rolls or noodlerama. Parking is on the street or paid in the parking structure below the shopping center. The weather was perfect for a lovely team building picnic lunch. So we took our team and layed our blankets by the tree and a small grassy, and fountain area outside HealthNut Culver City yesterday. Manager Yanina was so accommodating and took my large group order the moment they opened their doors at 10:00am. We ordered 4 trays of sandwiches, and 2 trays of the veggie spring roll for 40-45 people, it was fantastic, fresh, flavorful, and healthy. It was an instant crowd pleaser! It was packed really well, with all the condiments ready to go. I would definitely recommend HealthNut, Culver City to anyone looking for tasty, wholesome food, served by friendly staff. read more

Mango greentini was refreshing as always (a must try!) and the tomato brisquet had the perfect ratio of cream and tomato. I usually order salads, so it was my first time trying their tuna sandwich. As you can see, the filling was very generous, and the spiciness of the tuna was just on point. It balanced well with the fresh ingredients. My husband got an open melted that comes in an English muffin. You get to choose your own protein, and he went with chicken, which was juicy and flavorful. Just because the Kardashians touch it doesn't mean it turns to gold! I had the spring rolls with the house spicy dressing and also a salad with salmon. First of all the spring rolls are a good idea, but if they left them whole, it would be so much better to eat. Instead, they cut them into 3-4 inch rounds that are no more than 1/2"-3/4" thick, so whether you pick them up with your hands, fork or chopsticks they just immediately fall apart and the ingredient fall out of the wrapper. You're better off ordering a salad because that's what this is gonna turn into anyway. The chicken was dry AF and had zero flavor. It was more suitable for an animal than myself. I appreciate the amount of dressing that came with it. Usually, you have to ask for more, but they give you quite a bit. It was tasty, but when I went to purchase a bottle from the cooler, and looked at the ingredients, I was super disappointed to see that they use soy oil in all of their dressings. *insert KK ugly cry sticker here* The price is on par with similar places to eat in LA, however, it is definitely not worth the hype and I won't go back. My coworker said that this restaurant was due to the healthy options and it was seen on the Kardashians. I was in the area and decided to check it out. I ordered their lentil soup bowl and their Chinese chicken salad along with a a health green drink. The soups was definitely my favorite and one of the best lentil soups I've had. Very hearty and flavorful. The salad was about average but flavor wasn't there, I don't know if it's not enough dressing or the dressing itself wasn't as sweet to what I'm used to. Now for $15+ salad I was expecting more flavor, but it does the job as "healthy" because I think you'll definitely lose weight through their salads. I was expecting a Chinese chicken salad as good as "The Stand's"(a burger place of all places) but not even close. I think this restaurant gets a lot of direct sunlight, so most of the indoor seating was blasted with sun. I'd say if they added blindes/shutters for the indoor dine in eaters, it'd be a good spot to enjoy your meal. Parking can be tricky, some street parking and some paid indoor garage parking. Their food looked flavorless and bland on their social media page. How does it taste, you ask? Flavorless and bland. Using iceberg lettuce in 2024 is an abomination, especially mixing it with romaine. The sesame dressing is practically tasteless. The shredded chicken tastes boiled and unseasoned. I added red cabbage to my salad and crispy wonton strips. That wasn't enough to redeem it. The tuna sandwich garners a similar review - underwhelming. I can only assume the people who swear by this place are allergic to flavor. Then again, I swear by Feast From The East, so once you've had their Chinese Chicken Salad, nothing else exists. And I'm accustomed to making tuna sandwiches with tuna salad from Yummy. My order was packed well and the food was prepared neatly, but that's about it. I like their bowls and paper straws. Woohoo new Health Nut location!!! Went for lunch today and they were packed but still got my food in less than 5 mins! You HAVE to get their mango green tea! Got my usual: noodlerama sub chicken salad instead of shredded chicken and spicy dressing. Their portions are huge and will keep you full for hours! Used to live near their Woodland Hills location so I went there a lot but moved but bought bottled dressings to make salads at home but now with their new location-phew I don't have to make salads anymore at home and can just stop by this new location! They also validate parking which we know is a HUGE plus in LA! The location is also near a huge grassy field so my son loved running around while mama got to enjoy a nice lunch outside.
