Simply salad is great. The place is adorable and clean. The service is good, but not great, so they need to work on that, but everything else is wonderful. You can do take out and I think they deliver, but we like eating there and using their salad buffet which everything you could want, including great dressings and croutons. They have sliced avocado and crisp fresh greens. It is all so good. It is comfortable to sit there and there is usually a spot. We love their fresh sliced mushrooms and their tomatoes are even great, and in LA it is hard to get good tomatoes. The area around the buffet is kept so clean and it is very well stocked. They even have cookies. It is all great and if you love salad, this is the place for you. Parking is easy. read more

Now, the salad itself? Basic. Like, painfully basic. I got romaine lettuce with olives, cucumbers, pepperoncinis, and Italian dressing, and honestly, they skimped hella hard on the toppings. It was mostly just lettuce, and not even the good kind... just a pile of it with a few scattered leaves I'm sorry. I could barely taste anything but greens. And that Italian dressing? We picked this place for a small meal after we arrived to LA. Upon walking in, I was greeted with a hello. I explained this was my first time and the young lady walked me through the menu and dressing choices. I opted for the salad which comes in one size and 5 toppings. I did not add meat as that is additional as well as any other toppings. After I told her my order, on my side of the counter I paid. It looked as though you can walk in and just order and pay at the kiosk. I was not sure about two dressings, but they let me try both. I opted for the Mediterranean ranch. The wait was a little long, I observed a lot of people coming and going as they are located next to a gym. The service was simple, nothing really outstanding. There is seating available inside and the decor was very simple. Parking is ok, they are located in a strip mall. The lettuce is fresh, but I found that I had to search for my toppings . Simply salad please do better with training the staff for customer service. It's 2:00pm 05/13/2026 . I stood there for 5 mins waiting for someone to acknowledge me so I can pick my order up. Instead everyone is having a personal conversation. Two girls talking about a purchase asking if it's smart. One girl asking if she can take her break to another girl near the start of the assembly line. The other girl replied "why are you asking me you're in charge". The girl in charge "ok then I'll take my break". A few guys walking by, only reason dude asked if I needed help was because he placed a pick up order on the shelf. And you will indulge in a crisp & SO FULFILLING SALAD. I have to admit this chicken Cesar was good, although it could have been seasoned a little better, but if you're not much on the seasoning aspect of your salads you'd be in heaven.
