Rarely am I very impressed with a restaurant I eat at but Cava exceeded my expectations. Each component of the bowl I made were well made and exploding with flavor. I got a bowl with saffron rice, Tzatziki, Eggplant + Red Pepper, Crazy Feta, Lamb Meatball, Falafel, Braised Lamb, and Roasted Vegetables. Every component of this bowl would be amazing as a standalone product, but mixed together made it all the better. They scoop the dips and spreads and put it spread apart. Every bite you eat is different from the last so you never get tired of it. I also tried all their drinks and I LOVE the Beet Lemonade. It is not overly sweet and the Beet flavor is no overpowering. My wife is crazy about this place. She had visited it in DC and wouldn't shut up about it. When we arrived back to LA she immediately begin to search for them and low and behold several are in the LA area! If you are a fan of Mediterranean grubs then you'll love this spot! I'm not a huge fan of Mediterranean food but I went and tried them... surely one of the best I've had when it come down to this category of food. Cava is a Mediterranean culinary brand with a flavorful and healthy fast-casual experience featuring customizable & craveable salads, grain bowls and more! I was super impressed with all of the fresh vegetables available as well as the drink counter! OMG that was my favorite part. They had some of the most awesome drinks!! Long story short, if you are curious give them a try! 5 star service, sweet parking out back and much more. Based on my experience their Take Out option is severely lacking considering I have had multiple orders prepared wrong. This is my latest meal the "Harissa Avocado" which is a signature dish and still missing items. If you are missing the avocado in a dish named Harissa Avocado something isn't working right. A one time mistake isn't worth a bad review however this is not the first time. It was also the 2nd time in a row I've ordered here and this has happened. If you order here, don't do take out. It's all about the sauces! They have crazy good sauce choices AND toppings that are phenomenal. Everything is so fresh. I usually get the meatballs on a bowl but today opted for the chicken. It was great. I love the topping choices, lots of fresh crunchy veggies, tangy olives and heavenly feta. The base choices are good too. The rice was fluffy and moist and did 1/2 super greens. Good call! I get the sauces on the side so I can try different bites with different tastes. Harissa is the red and it's pungent, great spice. The green sauce is also great, cilantro garlic and spice. I also can really recommend the tahini, crazy feta topping and pepper hummus. All of it so tasty. I am sad they didn't give me any pita with my bowl and I forgot to ask that always makes it more delicious. Oh well. Pretty easy ordering for pandemic takeaway. read more

Might not seem like much when you walk in, but I've always wondered what the food was like here based on the exterior wall. It appears very minimal when you're looking to see what to order, but the employees are very helpful with guiding you on what everything is. I ordered a greens + grains bowl -- arugula, spinach, saffron basmati rice, tzatziki, hummus, harissa, spicy lamb meatballs and grilled meatballs + pita on the side (I would have wanted to split the grains to try two different ones at once, but I was not asked at the beginning. I also would have chosen different types of protein, but I took whatever was left from the end of the day). Even though the photos may not make it seem like its enticing, I can assure you that the taste of the food is where its at. For the amount of food you get in the bowl and how yummy the flavors all blend together, I ended up really really liking my food.
