I've ordered from this location twice, with both times being a pick-up order and, for the most part, things have gone well. My favorite item is the Garlicky chicken shawarma bowl. I don't modify anything and I just keep with everything that already comes with it, and it tasted great each time. My one gripe is that as big as the bowl is, you would think they could fill it a little more, but I guess that is their way of perhaps getting customers to order a double scoop next time. The total cost of the bowl with no modifications will run you about $13. I can't speak much about the service since I am in and out so quickly as I pick up my carry-out order, but it does seem like for the most part everyone is in good spirits. I'm curious about trying their falafel bowl, so I think when ordering again that would be my next choice.

I've been here a couple times already and I've always enjoyed each meal. I suggest ordering online at least 2 hours in advanced if you don't want to wait in line. It's still really busy even though they've been open for a few months now. You can build your own bowl or pick from the options on the menu. I can't remember the bowls I've had but no bowl has been bad that I've eaten. I absolutely love the cinnamon pita chips that come with the honey to dip in. I get it every time I go. They have a few different fruit drinks/lemonades you can try but I've never had any of them yet. This is now one of my favorite places to go. The bowls are huge and the staff is always friendly. Service can take some time but I won't say they are slow, it's just busy. Get here soon!

Barely gave me any rice or chicken. Added a few toppings. Looks like a child's bowl SMH.

Visiting Detroit for the weekend. I was super excited to visit CAVA but was very disappointed with my visit. I waited 10 minutes (yes I timed it) from the moment one person started making my bowl, walked away, then waited for another person to come finish making it. Then they barely put anything inside my bowl. When I asked for a little more, I was told I would be charged extra. I took a photo... it looks like a kids bowl. Not work $12... it was a $5 bowl. Restaurant was clean because there weren't any customers sitting inside, now I see why.

Ordered online for delivery. Arrived within the expected amount of time. Spicy Chicken tasted great. Blueberry Lavender tasted great. I'm sure it tastes better when it's fresher.

What a great addition to the downtown food scene! We loved our first experience at the downtown CAVA. The interior is actually so cute, the staff was so welcoming and let us take our time with the menu, and the food tasted so fresh. We will definitely be back to perfect our bowl orders!

I ordered my first bowl yesterday, and will probably be here often. It's fairly inexpensive, fresh and delicious. Not a huge portion, but satisfying. Delicious toppings and sauces. Perfectly cooked jasmine rice. It's a perfect addition to downtown.

My good friend and I went to the grand opening of this Cava location in downtown Detroit. It was a party! They had a DJ outside, free icecream, free dips, and the wait in line actually went by so fast considering how many people were there. My food was absolutely phenomenal and I've never tried Cava before so I was pleasantly surprised.

I am THRILLED that the new Cava is open. The pickup service so far has been prompt and easy to use, and my ingredients are always exactly how I want them. The only downside is that they're frequently out of ingredients! I'm hoping that will be remedied after their first few weeks, and will certainly be returning.

This place is a Very busy during lunchtime. It would be really nice if they could open up sooner. The Food was very fresh and healthy with lots of different options to add more flavors. I really enjoyed the lamb meatballs and different green vegetables mixes to choose from.

The menu is Turkish and German fusion, which makes when you know how the doner kabob has become a German fast food staple. I've gone a few times now and had consistently great experiences. There a few mainstays, including their doner options. Their lamb doner version is the only one I've found in the US I like (I have to remember to ask without peppers, not a traditional ingredient). Their cocktails are fresh, inventive, and interesting. I've tried a variety, and they do a consistently good cocktail. Supergeil is a reliable go to, good quality, reasonable prices, and great service. I'll be back for their patio season.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me to a beautiful Mediterranean garden, with its gorgeous tiled floors, lush greenery, and warm, inviting atmosphere. It felt like a refreshing escape right in the middle of Detroit's historic cobblestone streets. It was the perfect setting for a long-overdue reunion with my sorority sisters, and Supergeil was incredibly accommodating, hosting our group of 14 women in the middle of Grand Prix weekend without missing a beat. We kicked off the evening with a few appetizers to share, including the hummus, deviled eggs, and meatballs. Everything arrived quickly and was an instant hit around the table. The standout was definitely the hummus, served with fresh, homemade pita that was unbelievably soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The meatballs were also delicious, perfectly tender, juicy, and well seasoned. For my entrée, I ordered the popular lamb and beef döner, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The portion was generous and beautifully presented, overflowing with crisp vegetables, fresh lettuce, garlic sauce, hot sauce, and the most tender, savory lamb and beef. Around the table, others enjoyed the Turkish ravioli with spiced beef and pork, more döner, and a variety of salads. Everyone loved their meals, and we couldn't resist passing plates around to sample a little of everything. It's the kind of restaurant that's perfect for sharing and enjoying with a large group. And what would a girls' night be without cocktails? If you're a fan of Two James spirits like I am, you're in for a treat. The bartenders create incredibly inventive cocktails from a seasonally rotating menu. I stepped outside my comfort zone and ordered the Open Kettle, made with coffee infused Doctor Bird Rum, cola reduction, coconut cream, and Underberg. It was unlike anything I've ever had! It was rich, tropical, complex, and with just the right kick. It's an absolute must try. Another crowd favorite was the Purple Gang, featuring lavender vodka, lemon, and butterfly pea tea, which gave it the most stunning purple hue. To finish the night, we ordered all three desserts to share: the burnt sugar tres leches, strawberries and cream, and the hot brownie with cinnamon ice cream. My favorite was easily the tres leches. It was light, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the crunch of burnt caramel and the subtle sweetness of coconut, it was a creative twist on a classic dessert. The warm brownie with cinnamon ice cream was pure comfort and a chocolate lover's dream, while the strawberries and cream offered a lighter finish with sesame brittle and hibiscus, creating a unique combination that reminded me of an elevated granola paired with a glazed donut cream. From the beautiful atmosphere and attentive service to the creative cocktails and delicious food, Supergeil delivered an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're planning date night, catching up with friends, or celebrating with a large group, it's definitely a spot worth adding to your Detroit restaurant list.

My salad had shredded feta, they changed from crumbled feta. I don't eat shredded, but for $1.00 up charge. ‍ I still will enjoy without any feta moving forward. There's a parking garage in the rear and plenty of spots. I did enter through the rear of the establishment since I parked there. The menu is pretty extensive. Ended up getting the half order of hummus. A basket of warm pita and two sauces came out. I initially thought that was the pita. This was complimentary I believe. The garlic sauce is solid. The other one is a spicy sauce of some sort. This spicy one was super good. The hummus came out. Very smooth and flavorful. For my entree, I got the Shish Kafta. You can choose between lamb or chicken. I went with the chicken with a side of rice and my choice of soup or salad. I opted for the lentil soup. That came out piping hot. This was delicious. Flavorful and good texture. My entree came out and wow. The portion is way more than what you pay for. Came with 4 very huge blocks of chicken kefta. Nicely seasoned and grilled to perfection. Had a nice char on the outside, but still juicy on the inside. I used the two sauces from earlier to give it an extra kick. I washed it all down with a mint lemonade. This was absolutely refreshing. Clean place, very good food and the customer service was solid.

Ordered carry out. crushed lentil bowl, chicken kafta, two sides: small hummus, small baba ghanouj, large fattoush salad with no pita. $38.13 Food takes about 15 minutes to be ready. Drove all the way back to the office. My chicken kafta looks to be lamb, not at all what I ordered. My large fattoush is covered in pita chips. Had to spend several minutes getting every pita chip out of the salad. It's good I am not allergic to gluten. They shove the dressing packet in the corner of the salad, so you get a bit less, that and the pita chips. Other than that, the salad was fine. I am quite disappointed the order is not right! The crushed lentil soup has a lot of rice in it, which is just filler to me. Has some clumps of something, may be rice and starch? It's too inconvenient to drive all the way back. Do be sure to check your carry out order before you leave the place. The crushed lentil is quite bland, not much flavor to it. Tastes some fennel, quite a few clumps of starch. The soup is more rice than lentil. I could count on one hand how many traces of lentil was in my bowl of soup. What in the world? My husband ate the lamb kafta, since I don't eat red meat. He said it was so-so, but rather dry.
