New guy Chris was making my bowl, and I'm actually not even sure if he was in fact new, however MF it seemed as though he wanted me to hold his hand making me a to go bowl. I'm never been harassed this extensive while going f through shag k wanted due to him SLIGHTING me everytime the asking "is this enough" after the first scoop, and it's given if asked EVERYONE will always say a scoop more (even though his limits were the again, the slightest I've been served here) then he follows up with "so extra ?", no douche, just a correct sizing, plz, even tho I ended up paying extra not to confuse him (minimal brain cells) and this lady that refused to give me her name. New renovations to the store are modern and make it easier for pick-up orders by the front entrance. Store is a little smaller and has less seating, it is usually busy with customers around lunch and you can expect a line of in store orders but it moves quick. I had no idea I had a CAVA addiction until they shut down for two months this past spring to undergo a renovation. Every time I had a hankering for a quick, healthyish meal I would remember they were closed and then end up making bad financial or health decisions. So needless to say, I am so happy they are back! Their new digs is lighter, brighter, and more easy to navigate and their prime location next to the Mosaic lawn makes it the perfect pit stop for summer picnics. For those looking for a light meal, their kids meals are the best! I am also in love with all their prepared dips which you can buy by the tub at the nearby Mom's Organic. I love Cava, and I was so stoked to find out that there is one so close to where I normally am during the week. Unfortunately, this location does not meet expectations. So many things fell below normal expectations of Cava: service was awful; portion was small; taste was lacking; missing side pita (LOL)! The best thing about this location is that the parking is free in the garage, just gotta find a spot! There was no greeting when you come in and walk up to the service line; not really a big stickler for this, especially if it's busy. It is telling, though, with the rest of the experience. The server that was helping me was okay: she wasn't mean, per se, but I could feel the attitude. She was really stingy: I would ask for a double scoop on something and she would do 2-quarter scoops so I essentially get 1/2 a scoop total. It's very comical; it was like she didn't think I would notice. The whole dish was so bland; where mediterranean food is normally bursting with flavor, the grain bowl literally did not taste like anything. The pita strips was so stale and not crunchy at all. There's no need to try this location. I would opt for a different restaurant or a different location. read more

I love CAVA. It is a great place to pickup, and it is priced pretty well. I typically get a bowl with white rice and arugula, two tzatziki dips and one crazy feta, chicken, pickled onions, tomato and cucumber, tomato and onion, cabbage slaw, cucumber slices, pita crisps, feta, the hot harissa vinaigrette, and the yogurt dill dressing. I also like the harissa honey chicken, which has really great flavor, but it does cost a little extra, so I don't always get it. The only reason I decided to give this place 4 stars is because they sometimes forget things, like they forgot my sauces for my pickup order (I ordered them on the side), which was disappointing. Also, they can be pretty inconsistent with portion sizes. Overall, CAVA is a great place to grab a relatively healthy dinner quickly. read more

I ordered my Spicy Chicken and Avocado Pita from this Mediterranean restaurant for lunch. Overall, the interior was dark, with a clean seating area and some hanging glass bottles on the ceiling for decoration. The cashier area and counter were clean and tidy as well, and upon ordering my lunch, a staff assembled pita bread and added ingredients to it. It was made with hummus, avocado, pickles, fire-roasted corn, crumbled feta, pickled onions, harissa honey chicken, and hot harissa vinaigrette, which had a subtly sweet flavor combined with hot sauce, and the pita bread was fresh and chewy, which I like. The food was similar to a breakfast burrito but with different, healthy, and tasty ingredients. I will return to try other dishes on the menu as the food was delicious. read more

We come here only because it's the closest Cava to us. However, there's a huge difference in quantity when we dine in vs when ordering ahead for pickup. The portions for pickup are quite sad. Not to mention, I always select to utilize a bag and yet, the food is never in a bag and we have to always ask once we're there. Stingy! The pita chips are addicting and I never leave without an order of them. I enjoy their chicken and meatballs and the variety of sauces and options you can choose to make your bowl. You can either do all rice or half rice/half salad or all salad. Similar to Chipotle where you can see the options and you tell the staff what you'd like. Quick and fast service as soon as they opened. I was the first one and everything was hot and fresh. Second time here the Manager Manuel , and the crew ... For the first time every in my Cava history was I able to walk in, walk right up and order my bowl!!! They was literally no line and plenty of seating available. I quietly looked up and thanked the Cava Gods for looking out for me, they must have known how hungry I truly was. Everything was good, the rice was nice and hot!!! You could feel the heat penetrating the bottom of the to go bowl. Today was a meatless day but I did hear the lamb meatballs calling my name, I ignored them and loaded up on the veggies and three scoops of tzatziki had them drizzle on the vinegarette. I was able to get 1/2 romaine lettuce and 1/2 Jasmine rice with braised beef and a ton of interesting toppings. It all comes with a pita as well. The line moved fast and they were patient and friendly in explaining all the topping options, maybe signs would help? This place isn't huge so it might be tough getting a seat at peak times but it's worth a try if you can get a seat. read more

5/18/19 Where to start? Where to start?...upon entering the restaurant, the music I heard was not the best introduction for me, but it is what it is. I noticed two ladies waiting for their ture to buy food, but the number of staff members seem short. Upon seeing the manager, I noticed her eyes were not looking at the customer she was servicing. Her focus as Jackie Chan aka Hans said " your focus needs more focus." Her fake smile and her personality reminded me of Mike Barns. I had asked for a small cup to drink from and was charged for a large cup. My wife decided she wanted a cup too so I went back for another cup. The female Mike Barns saw me standing there waiting for assistance and took her sweet ass time to assist me and another lady who was standing there. She finally approaches me with a confused look on her face and asks if I need help. From the look on her face, she did not like me or pretty much anyone else, but hide her distant better. Again I asked for a small cup and was charged for large cup. The small and large cups were right next to each other. She clearly wasn't listening at all. The woman standing next to me thought that Ms. Mike Barns's focus lacked focus too. The food was good and had a lot of flavor, but The manager and her leadership had most of her crew acting like the students of a Cobra Kai dojo. This was truly made clear to me when I used one of the unsex bathrooms. This truly why this review gets a one star rating. Upon seeing the bathroom, I saw two disturbing things, but one of them took the cake. A dead German cockroach was on the ground and I did not like seeing this because it reminded me of the PF Chang's cockroach infestation at Tyson's Galleria. The used condom testing on the floor near the sink was what finally disgusted me to want to leave. However, I decided to give this restaurant one more chance. I contacted an employee about what I saw and showed him what was going on. He seemed like he only half cared what I showed him. He ended up talking to Ms. Mike Barns who smiled wickedly and did nothing about it. On our way out of the restaurant, I saw a woman go into the same unisex bathroom i had. If she saw what i saw, I wonder if she said anything? Since Ms. Mike Barns doesn't care about the clients in this store, I figured the clients ought to know what might go on in this restaurant. CAVA is great! I'd typically stick to other places like Chipotle but CAVA is great when you're craving something healthier and less meat-centric. Our dude at this location was very friendly and also hooked it up in terms of portions, and the facility was quite clean. I opted for the bowl with super greens and white rice and also got half chicken and half falafel. I will say that the one drawback is that the falafel was flavorless... but aside from that all was good! PS - the harissa sauce is FIRE! Absolutely delicious. read more
