Great lunch walking distance from UF's campus. I created my own bowl & really enjoyed it. The staff was nice & helpful, as it was my first time. As other reviews mentioned, it's similar to a chipotle in ordering/style - but with a fresh, Mediterranean twist! There is no parking though, so you'll have to find a paid spot nearby or walk. They have a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, and it may be busy depending on the time. Additionally a bowl starts at $11 and prices go up from there. It can be a pricier lunch spot depending on what you order and especially if you add a side of pita or a drink. In my bowl I added tzatziki, hummus, and crazy feta spread & their yogurt dill dressing. My favorite topping they had was the fiery broccoli. I loved it!

The service and atmosphere is really good here. It is definitely a good choice for healthy food, my main complaint is that the portion sizes are kind of small and not that filling in my opinion. I liked the grilled chicken bowl, my favorite part was the hummus and they include a big scoop of it. It's kind of overpriced for the amount of food you get in my opinion Update: would recommend going to the other Cava on archer. Went here again recently and it smells horrible like an overwhelming mildew smell. It also took 30+ mins to receive food and the line wasn't very long. Also, the soda machines weren't working at all. Lastly, the pita chips which are usually amazing were completely stale and lacking flavor. Really disappointing compared to the other cava

This place totally took me by surprise. My son kept telling me how great Cava was and I just thought it was another one of those bowl places. I was wrong and this is one of the best with a healthy Mediterranean twist. You can find most cava locations near a university. The concept is fast, casual dining, where you can make a custom bowl or a pita sandwich. Start by choosing a base, either greens, or pita then add protein options like grilled chicken, falafel, lamb meatballs or you can go vegetarian with roasted vegies. Then you customize your meal with different toppings, such as hummus, tzatziki, harissa or a vegetable dip, next in line you choose toppings such as broccoli, roasted corn, tomatoes, pickles, feta, cabbage and top everything with a Mediterranean style dressing. As you move through the line, everything is labeled and calorie count is shown. I started with super greens Which was a combination of leafy greens, kale, spinach, arugula, and shaved brussels sprouts. Next I added black lentils, and as I was moving through the line, I got to add three dips so I chose tzatziki hummus and roasted eggplant. Then I topped it with pickles, tomato & cucumber, broccoli and a little feta and for the dressing I chose the lemon herb tahini. It even came with a pice of pita. Everything was fresh and so good. Falafel was excellent. We ordered it in a pita and that comes with the same choices of grains, hummus, toppings and dressings. Prices are reasonable. They start at 10.95. Some items are extra but everythings labeled so there are no surprises. This is a great place for lunch or a light dinner. I hope they put one in Boca soon.

I went here with my college age daughter. I was very pleased with the food though I got a kids order because K didn't want such a huge amount. Mine had super greens, chicken, tzatziki, pita (which I ga e my sighted), carrot sticks, broccoli, cucumbers and tomatoes and more! It was very good! She got the regular air with chicken and loved it- just didn't love the pickled onions because they were too big .I also had a weird experience with the lock o t he bathroom- it apparently didn't lock and a man opened the door. Fortunately, I was dressed but it would have been terrible! J told the employee they needed to get that lock fixed - I had my fighter stand by the door. I also found the area where the empty plates go to be quite a mess - the stuff was overflowing. That wa short acceptable! Please do better. We like your food a lot!

This location isn't very consistent; they are always out of ingredients and not reliable on portion sizes. I recommend going during times where they're not busy and not ordering pickup online. Most of the times the tables are dirty and sticky but they do have outdoors tables.

Subpar food

Cava? More like Caca! Went into the Univ Ave location and it smelled like straight farts. I'm pretty sure something was rotting near the checkout area. Also it seemed like everyone working there was either new or angry. Took a very long time to get the bowls down the line and check out. The two juice flavors I tried were watery/tasted off. I've been to a Cava in Winter Park and it was 5X better than this service and product.

Sounds pricey but my wife and I spit it and still had some leftovers. Also, this might seem a bit off topic but this place has some of the best fries. Great seasoning. My platter came with a generous portion of gyro meat, and the side salad was nicely prepared. If you haven't tried this place and you like a good gyro, drop by, you won't be disappointed.

As it was summer break, a lot of the other businesses in the building were closed (Vietnamese and Italian restaurant as well as a boba place). The place looks like it was being run by a hardworking couple. We checked out the menu and my wife ordered the Gyro Platter and I ordered the Souvlaki Platter. We also ordered a couple of fountain drinks. The gyro meat was well seasoned and tender. The Greek salad was quite good. The chicken souvlaki, however, seemed to lack flavor and a bit dry. Portions were quite generous and the value was there. We actually packed our leftovers for some quesadillas later. If we do go back, I would order the gyro instead of the chicken souvlaki.

In my previous reviews I Utilized a Good, Bad, and Ugly rating scale. I really like most everything about Superette. The staff are very eclectic and nice, outdoor dining is relaxing and invigorating. There are not many things better than sitting outside under oak trees while eating delicious savory food and enjoying a good wine or cocktails. Replaying last night's dinner in my head has me planning my next visit to Superette. Sunday brunch this weekend is calling my name. Oh,'one more thing, Superette is also the place to go where you will only run into the people you like. The folks you don't care for are not going to be there. Just my observation.

The sweet potato soup had a puréed, baby‑food texture, but the flavor itself was surprisingly rich and comforting. The star for me was the Tunisian casse‑croûte. The flavors were incredible; the albacore was tender and seasoned just right, the salata mechouia added this smoky, roasted pepper depth, and the pickled egg brought the perfect tangy brightness. The arugula gave it a fresh, peppery lift, and the harissa aioli tied everything together with a warm, subtle heat. The fries on top added the best crunchy contrast. Every bite was layered, bold, and so satisfying.

I was reminiscing about a sandwich I got and decided to order some lunch from here . I ordered a California turkey croissant but subbed for gluten free Kaiser roll. I also ordered the Greek salad. The prices and portions can't be beat. I got it for delivery from DoorDash and the ingredients and bread were so fresh. I was a little hesitant because when I order sandwiches or wraps from other places for delivery they arrive soggy but I was pleasantly surprised because everything was intact. I'm picky with deli meat since I just can't stand some after taste of certain deli meats but I don't know how to explain it the turkey and cheese tasted "clean" . You were able to taste every topping on the sandwich separately and together it just came together perfectly. It was a hefty portion too looking like a real life healthy krabby patty. I haven't tried the salad since I got so full from the sandwich but even my coworker when she saw it in the fridge said it looked amazing. I can't wait to have it for dinner and hoping I get the chance to come in and try other items on their menu. I might hit the beach one of these days and I sure wish I could take a couple of sammies from here so I might consider it.

Our appetizer and drink orders taken, we set to decide whether to try the Greek offerings or the Italian! Both looked delicious and the reviews I read previously really set my mouth watering for pizza AND the souvlaki! Unfortunately, my husband got his good old standby, Chicken Parmesan. We both tried different medium pizzas and we ordered Calamari Fritta (but asked for the peppers to not be included) as our appetizer. Have you ever had super fresh REAL calamari? Sliced fresh and hand breaded and then served to you? I had one other time in Tarpon Springs, and this was just as incredibly dished up for us! Marinara sauce and a spicy sweet sauce like a Mae Ploy was also served with them and two nice lemon slices. Stupendous! Our drinks? Perfectly done-- considering our excellent waiter, AJ, didn't know what an Arnold Palmer even was! What a surprising, talented young man! My souvlaki! Absolutely to die for! Wowza! The side I got was the garlic broccolini and YUMMMMM! My husband's chicken parm was so good that he devoured it BEFORE I could even snap a picture! LOL Our pizzas were some of the best we've ever had. The crust is so delicious and they sure don't hold back on the toppings. I consumed half of mine without even realizing it. Wow. I got the Lil' Sicily that has pepperoni, sausage, ricotta, basil and oregano. The hubby chose the Scoula pie that has pepperoni, Italian sausage, ground beef, mushrooms, onions and green peppers. Both were out of this WORLD! Needless to say, I think we just found our newest favorite spot for dinner. So many Greek dishes to keep me happy and plenty of Italian ones to keep the husband happy too! Don't know why we hadn't stopped in before now to try this place!! They are truly a wonderful restaurant and anyone would be hard pressed to find anything wrong with good food at good prices!
