I used to love this place and treat myself to a nice lunch when shopping in the area. I hadn't been in a year or so and stopped in. They seem to have a whole new staff. Twice they weren't at all friendly and the portions given filled up just half of the bowl. The prices seem higher, too. Unfortunately, I have no interest in returning as there are so many other lunch options in the area worth exploring. read more

Food is amazing I love cava however the atmosphere in this location has plummeted. This very unpleasant lady stiffly picked out the remaining 4 leafs of soggy plant matter from the bottom of the bin and put that in my bowl. I asked for more she didn't say anything but very distraughtly put an alarming amount into my bowl then pretty much threw it down the counter line to the other lady whom was already talking bad about a previous costumer and her 4 children that were EATING 10 FEET AWAY. I will be back for the food but I hope they all get a wake up call cause the vibes suck in there. Not to mention 6 people dilly dallying avoiding costumers while 1-2 people are tending to the line that's out the door. read more

Service is incredibly slow for online orders - and then they don't even put the order out where you are supposed to pick it up. Lettuce was wilting, bowl was 2/3 full. Employees were not friendly. We won't be back. read more

Let me start my saying that I love Cava and have tried the Cambridge location. The restaurant is located at a strip mall in Mansfield with plenty of Parking. The restaurant has the corner location and is very welcoming from the outside. The line was long but worth the wait! The staff was very welcoming and friendly which made the experience better . I tried the sweet and spicy chicken pita and OMG this food is amazing. The pita is warm and all the ingredients become one for an explosive flavor bomb . Ordered a rice bowl to be delivered and the door dash driver left it at the wrong address. Called door dash they refunded my money. I called Cava to let them know that door dash messed up and I know it's not their fault but thought they should know spoke with the manager Monteith?(sp) he was so awesome. He told me his shift was ending in 15 minutes. He personally remade my order and drove it to my apartment himself. Talk about above and beyond. So impressed. Really enjoyed the food but the service for mobile orders was awfully slow. Workers would call out the name once and then just bring the food back where they were making it. So, if you don't get there right when they call it you have to wait for a while before they notice you're visibly annoyed. LOVE cava so much, but this location, is horrible with online orders. Always running behind, which is understandable when busy, but the order is never made correctly. If you are ordering from here. Honestly disappointed. When this place first opened it was literally heaven! I would legit order from here multiple times a week but recently something has gone wrong. Food isn't half as good as it used to be and multiple times I've mobile ordered something and toppings or chips would be missing. I don't mind that part as it is easy to overlook something and ask for that missing part, however, the food has just gone straight down. Nothing is as good as it first was at this location. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. 1st off the staff is incredibly efficient, the food is not only amazing but the servings are unbelievably huge for the money... for the freshness, taste & value why would you ever consider another chain? It's now my new go-to for lunch. Highly recommend! The overall ambiance feels like most chains that offer this style of food, the difference that separates Cava from others is the staff & selection of food and value! Get the warm pita chips!!! I was hoping for a great new falafel place close to home. Sadly this isn't it. They made it in front of me, when I got home I was expecting a nice warm pita with crispy falafel but everything was cold and soggy. (I live 2 minutes away). I tried to call several times and also left a message for a manger to call me back. it's now Friday with no return call Don't give them your money. I popped by this Cava and was really surprised. It was clean and neat in appearance. Then, Marquise (Marky) greeted me with a wide smile. He washed his hands vigorously. So this was really amazing. I never see anyone doing this, even around the time of Covid. So I thought, wow, how polite. Then he smiled a lot and he was just extra nice. He didn't have to be so nice, bc it was just the two of us until people started coming in. Customer service requires a lot of energy. He was full of energy and extremely friendly. Cava is lucky to have him. The food was delicious by the way. read more

I eat here whenever im in the area and I haven't been disappointed yet. A little bare bones in the decoration, but the service is fast and the employees are competent. The food is made to order and is very generous on the portion sizes. I recommend the Pita chips with any order. The selection of seasonal juices is very tasty and quite unique. read more

The food is great but oh my god they have the slowest service I have ever experienced. I always order online and food is almost always 20-30 minutes later than the order says it will be. I just stood around in the restaurant for literally 30 minutes before my food came out after showing up when they said it would be ready (meaning they said it would take 20 minutes and it took 50). Probably 10-12 other people doing the same. It was astonishing how few orders came out to the online order pickup area in that 30 minutes. What are they doing behind the counter??? They are always clearly overwhelmed by the volume of people. No one who waits in line to order seems to be waiting 50 minutes after ordering to get their food, so they are obviously prioritizing those orders over online orders. Which is idiotic. They should be encouraging online orders because they are more efficient for the restaurant to fulfill, not discouraging online ordering by de-prioritizing them. They're making their own egregious wait times even longer. A very poorly run business. Hire more people and fix your food prep processes. The food is good but honestly not worth the frustrating wait you will inevitably experience. read more

Fresh Mediterranean fast! I've been in twice and built a greens and grains bowl each time. I'd recommend looking online at the options before you go, because there's so much to choose from. My dream restaurant would let you have one bite of everything on a menu, so I love that they allow you to pick up to 3 spreads like hummus, tzatziki, and eggplant dip, up to 2 proteins like chicken and falafel, and unlimited toppers like my current favorite fiery broccoli. Every bite has its own flavor combination. I've eaten there both times, the laid back atmosphere allows me to go in my work clothes, the staff is friendly, and the tables were clean. The food is good but every time I order online it's anywhere between 10-20 minutes later than promised. I even try to order 30 minutes ahead and it's late. Please either adjust your expected time or hire more people during the peak times. It's faster for me to walk in, place my order and leave rather than wait for my online order read more

my boyfriend and i stopped in today after running a few errands. we absolutely love cava so we try and go anytime there's one close to us. we walked in and there was a line wrapped around the restaurant but i'd wait in line all day for cava! the man working on the line ( i didn't catch his name ) was absolutely wonderful. almost as if he didn't even notice the line practically out the door. he was incredibly friendly, personable, funny, professional, and calm. at one point, he had missed an ingredient from the lady's bowl who was in front of me in line. he said sorry about that miss it's my first day. i said "is it really your first day?" and he said no haha i run the place. in our short interaction he asked us if we had been there before, gave us recommendations, and even complimented my boyfriends choices for his bowl lol. i NEVER write yelp reviews but this guy was just so great i had to give him some praise! 10/10 experience. read more

Don't waste your money here. I was happy to visit a new place with a falafel vegetarian choice. But, my feelings turned quickly to horror. Upon visiting recently for the first time, I realized that the falafel pita wrap is their only vegetarian choice. After ordering a crispy falafel wrap, a young girl struggled to make it while the cashier was loudly criticizing other co-workers for not fearing dogs because she said "all Blacks" should fear dogs. As a customer, it was horrific to be subjected to this racist conversation while waiting for a wrap. Then another co-worker approached the young girl to advise her she needed more training to make a wrap. So she re-flipped all the ingredients into a different direction on the pita and then tried to re-wrap it, while making a messy pile of goop instead of starting over to make a new wrap. Later, after tasting the messy goop, I found the crispy falafel to be soggy and luke-warm while the pita bread was cold. I had to throw it away. A Never Again visit conclusion! read more
