    Greek Chicken

The interior was clean, and simple, and what you would expect for this location, so no complaints there. The service was very friendly but we had to twice correct our worker on our dish and we didn't even have any special requests, he just kept leaving out the default ingredients (we stilled missed one too, see below). My Harrisa Steak was very good, but we found the chicken greek salad rather bland. (After getting to the car we also realized the worker forgot the tomatoes).

Stopped by for lunch and picked up the Greek salad. Walking in the menu is in the center of the line. I suggest if they put it closer the left where customers stand in line. Otherwise, you're just standing there looking at the menu and finding up the line. Besides that, ordering was easy and the staff were helpful. I got the Greek salad. It was a big bowl and had a bunch of ingredients that worked well together. I enjoyed this very much. My favorite was trying the drinks! My favorite was the cucumber lime. Very refreshing and the sweetness was perfect. I'd come back again to try a new bowl.

Been wanting to try this place for a while now and stopped in. The staff was very nice and the inside was well kept. I ordered a build your own bowl. My bowl had super greens, lentils, basmati rice, veggies, chicken, red pepper hummus, crazy feta sauce, garlic sauce, corn, feta cheese, tzatziki, marinated tomatoes, pickles and onions. The minus one star is because the girl putting all the toppings on was super sloppy. After topping my bowl, she smashed the lid down and all the sauce was stuck to the lid. It could have been prevented had she not just known stuff into the bowl. However, everything was very flavorful and tasted super fresh. I see what the hype is all about and will definitely would be back.

I love cava! This location is clean and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend their food.

Atmosphere - When we arrived, there was a few empty tables inside. Lots of the tables were already occupied. Luckily for us the patio was wide open with no one sitting there yet. I don't like it when places are crowded. While there, many more groups of people arrived. There was a decent amount of tables and chairs in the shop. I think when they get busy, there won't be enough. Luckily they are right next to apartment houses, so hopefully most customers will bring their food back home to eat. I didn't visit the restroom. Not hot inside. I have been to some places where it's been hot. Half of the patio was in the hot sunlight. Three tables were in the shade. The door from the patio to the inside of the restaurant was locked and posed problems for many customers. Eventually they unlocked the door for easier access. They had music playing outside on the patio. No water misters. Food: Chicken and rice entree - It tasted sweet. The ingredients included grilled chicken, brown rice, tzatziki, hummus, feta, pickled onion, tomato, arugula, Greek vinaigrette. Not sure what made it taste sweet. Harissa avocado - I liked it. It was a little spicy. Its ingredients included Harissa honey chicken + hot harissa vinaigrette. Crazy Feta®, hummus, corn, avocado, rice, SuperGreens. Some bits of chicken fat or skin, but difficult for restaurants to remove all of these pieces. I liked that it was a little spicy. There were also some very tough woody pieces of some vegetable in there. There was also an uncut end of a couple vegetables in there. With the bowls came a complimentary small slice of pita. Seemed soft, which was good, and not old. Service - There were many employees. The service here was quick. They used recipe cards to make the entrees. Parking - The restaurant was located inside of a shared parking lot. Was not crowded since it is a newly built area. Used to be a commercial shopping plaza that was deserted a long time. Now they are building apartment houses there. No parking meters or parking structures. A parking structure with solar panels on top or trees would be nice. Otherwise, no shaded spots available. Same as most places. Future - Will come back although amount of food in bowl seemed small compared to the photos on their website that shows the bowls almost overflowing. The food height level with the rim of the bowls.

This place was good. I stopped by with a friend and sister over the weekend and it was busy. I had looked over the menu beforehand so I knew what I was going to get. I ordered: 1 Bowl with Black lentils, Basmati rice, Tzatziki, Grilled Chicken, Fiery broccoli, Corn, and Yogurt dill dressing. (I wanted pita strips but they didn't have any at the time) 1 Lemonade - Delicious! My friend had a veggie bowl and my sister had a steak bowl. I was able to sample their bowls and they were very different then mine. Unfortunately, the steak was not good as it had no flavor and it got very cold fast. The grilled chicken was delicious and hot! The veggies were cooked well and had a nice crunch to them. The tables were dirty but they stayed occupied the 1.5 hours we were there. I will be back sometime soon!

It must have been the summer of 2016 when I visited my sister in DC. She had brought me to the mall and showed me the glory of CAVA. It has been 8 years, and I have never forgotten. Maybe it was how glitzy the mall was, but CAVA was incredible. I've had CAVA since, but there is nothing better than having CAVA in your own area! I am not ashamed to tell you how loudly I gasped a few weeks ago when I saw the sign go up. My husband took me out to lunch today, and it was amazing. There is plenty of parking even though there's construction going on in the same lot. The store is bright and clean, and the service is so friendly! We opted to have our lunch dine-in, so they gave us the reusable bowls. I ordered a bowl with half saffron rice and arugula. You can choose 3 dips, so I got roasted eggplant, Tzatziki, and Red Pepper Hummus. I ordered grilled chicken, but I've had their lamb before, and that is also a good option! I also got it with: fire roasted corn, pickled pickles, persian cucumber, Kalamata olives, and my dressing was yogurt dill. I love their ice tea selection, too, and it's nice to have jasmine tea on tap. Definitely recommend downloading the app to earn your rewards AND to order ahead. While we were seated and eating, the traffic increased, and it got so busy!

It is a restaurant with a mini market which makes it feel so authentic. However, upon my first visit I didn't really look around the market but I did purchase a zero calorie Salaam cola which tasted exactly like Coca Cola. I ordered chicken shawarma plate and for appetizers I got the falafels. I started with the falafels and they were surprisingly not dry at all. I was not sure what kind of sauce it was served with but it paired well with it. The plate portion size is no joke...Everything on the plate had a huge portion size: the salad, hummus, rice, and meat...all of them...Every bite with the yogurt sauce was flavorful. And then I tried a bite with hummus, rice, chicken and the sauce...wombo combo flavors. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish all of it so I had to take a to go box home. On my next visit I ordered the beef shawarma plate and I was not disappointed at all. After finishing with an empty plate, I walked around the mini market. I noticed there was allot of Middle Eastern food, candies, and drinks. I really enjoyed my Salaam cola on my first visit but they did not have the zero calorie version in stock...I did research on the brand and I found that they created the cola to provide aid to countries like (free)Palestine and Yemen which I deeply support. Besides the food, I also saw keffiyehs on display which I liked as well. Overall, I rate this place a strong 10/10. I will come back to try other entrees and desserts like their baklava cheesecake. Actually that's a great profile picture so just look at that and you'll see the gyro plate. Anyway, to the point. This is one of the best Greek/Mediterranean restaurants I've eaten at. I'm not a Greek food aficionado but at least for the standard Greek restaurant fair to find an American Greek restaurant - delicious! Both times, unfortunately I couldn't order the kebabs because I didn't have time. They actually prepare them fresh and it takes about 25 minutes. I wanna come back and have those. Today, I had the gyro plate. Plenty of meat, delicious soft, fresh pita bread. Excellent hummus with a little olive oil in a pool in the center of it. The hummus is spread out in a , leaf or flour and there's plenty of it. Plenty of rice. And a delicious salad. They're dressing is so good. Not super sour/tangy. Great presentation too. The portions are more than enough. Really, two people could've eaten at my plate. The baklava is excellent. Service is good. Nice atmosphere. I love this place.

I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. I'll try not to wait so long before my next visit.

When you enter the Gilbert Gateway Towne Center, you have to maneuver through tricky shared parking to find a space. We dined half past 6pm on Memorial Day, so thankfully parking was easier as I believe some businesses were closed for the holiday. Though parking is tight, there is no shortage of seating in this establishment. Some bench-style seating as well as chairs to accommodate whichever you prefer. What We Ordered: ~ The Great Greek Gyro (no onions) x2: My boyfriend remarked that the gyro meat tastes like it was reheated, which I also noticed it slightly tougher than a more authentic one I've had previously. Still a very solid gyro given this is a chain and fast service place with a generous portion. ~ Sides with our meals: French fries and lemon potatoes Personally, the lemon potatoes are a pass next time as very buttery and heavy. The French fries however, were fantastic! They appear to be twice fried to have an extra crunchiness.
