Have been to other locations, but first time in this one. As with others, lots of healthy options including a good array of salads with and without protein. There were three things I really liked about this location that elevated it to my five star rating. First, the location is great in Chandler right near the downtown area with lots of other shopping and places to visit around it. There's a big free public parking garage right around the corner. Second the service here went above and beyond. I was sitting out on the patio, and in addition to bringing my salad out to me, the young lady also and went and got my drink from the self service bar and brought it out to me. Third, this location has an amazing large outdoor seating area that is completely shaded that wraps around the restaurant. Unlike the other chop shop locations, I've been to indoor seating is a bit more limited but way made up for by the outdoor space. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area. really disappointed in the lack of understanding about allergens and what constitutes as vegan. ordering vegan isn't just a dietary preference - it's a moral issue AND is a preventative measure for people with egg and other animal biproduct allergies. I've been to other locations that were much more understanding and treated me like an actual human, but my experience here was disappointing. for a place with vegan options, employees should absolutely be trained on what vegan alternatives are available for basic menu items and be coached on how to not look at customers blankly when they're requesting foods they're able to eat. read more

Friendly service and even the assistant manager jessica stopped by our table and we chatted for 10 minutes about the restaurant. Wish this place had locations in California. How about opening one in Azusa? Azusa needs a place like CHOP SHOP. We left the restaurant not feeling bloated or sluggish. They have four styles of freshly brewed iced tea. I got a smoothie for myself and my daughter at the Chop Shop in Chandler. My daughter noticed that she shallowed something weird and part of it was stuck on her tongue. The entire bottom of the smoothly was filled with glass pieces. I called the nurse line and waiting for a call back to see if it will cause any issues. But the point of my post is that I returned it and they said 3 other people had the same issue. Yet, they were still taking orders for smoothies. I have been in a few times but I haven't tried the food yet. They seem to have something for everyone but I am always here for the lemonade(s) lol. I love lemonade and theirs is very good. I sometimes will try the seasonal flavor but the classic lemonade is great - sweet but still some tang. The staff are always friendly without being talkative. A lot of the things are self serve with minimal contact. Love the inside of the building. It's super bright, inviting, and beautiful. I love the walls with lots of glass bringing the inside in. I will warn everyone though- In no way is this bb the fault of the staff or this store specifically. Ordered food for dine in and waited for an hour and a half for a fucking steak sandwich and a glass of lemonade. Eventually the dude came around looking for my table and he was so clueless looking everywhere but my table so I eventually just got up and asked him for the food so he brought it over. Gave me the sandwich and it was freezing cold. I asked him to heat it up and waited another 30 minutes. I eventually went up and asked them for my sandwich and the lady gave it to me and it was lukewarm at best. Looked in the sandwich and it had a piece of steak about the size of the upper half of my thumb and that was it. 12 dollars by the way. There just wasn't any flavor to it, I could only really taste a hint of the egg and some avocado but everything else was just mush. The salsa didn't help as it had pretty much no flavor and tasted like tomatoey water. Disappointed in the breakfast burrito i ordered. The power green juice was good and refreshing but pricey as well at $7.25 for a 16oz. I will say the service was good here and usually always is when i've visited in the past. Placed a delivery order through Uber eats. The food itself was good. However, the experience was not. We ordered for about 14 people and did not get all of our items. At least 3 people were missing things which is really disappointing when you're trying to get lunch for people and then they end up with nothing. I tried the zen bowl, a cookie, a cool down fresh juice, and a protein shake throughout that week. The zen bowl has scrambled egg, spinach, mushroom, onion, white cheddar, arugula, and brown rice. For $8, it's pretty affordable. Tasty and filling, too. The cookie, juice and protein shake were all delicious. The staff was pleasant and helpful each time. The place is clean. I can't believe we haven't come here sooner! My husband and I stopped in after a hike on Sunday afternoon, and we were instantly welcomed and given a little run down of the menu. There are so many choices that were appealing to us! We settled on the Thai coconut chicken bowl and steak sandwich. My bowl was delicious - I chose brown rice as the base - it came with some veggies and plenty of chicken. The flavors all melded so well! The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the random pieces of sweet potato (maybe they are next to the rice because you can also choose sweet potato hash as your base). It was super filling, and my husband ate the leftovers the next day. He said it was also yummy cold! He had the steak sandwich - the portion was generous. A lot of the flavors were lost, and we really only tasted the steak. The steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful! It just wasn't what he was looking for. We decided to try this place because it reminds me of Flower Child. The ambiance was nice and relaxing. The service is a bit slow but everyone is really nice. Both husband I tried the sweet soy sesame steak bowl which sounds really good but fell short. The sauce was way too salty that I couldn't finish the bottom because it was drenched in sauce. I have been coming to this location since 2022 and have always had excellent experiences and have always felt safe eating here with my gluten allergy until the past month or so. Over the past month, every single order has been messed up, using regular granola instead of gluten free, providing wheat wraps instead of the gluten free ones, etc. I have brought my concerns up with their managers multiple times, but nothing ever seems to change. While I understand that nothing can be guaranteed in a restaurant, the fact that this team repeatedly has mistaken allergens is a massive concern and should be taken as a warning sign by others with allergies if any kind. Until the leadership of this store can get their team properly retrained and ensures they understand the basics of allergens (a requirement of any who has a food handler certification), I have to warn any who may have allergies away from this location. I encourage the management team to reach out to me as I truly used to love this location. read more
