I got their Salmon + yogurt dill bowl, which was refreshing, delicious, flavorful, and everything I could have ever asked for. Salmon was cooked perfectly, the tzatziki tied it all together - probably the best tzatziki sauce I've ever had - and their drink selection was great (I got the cucumber mint lime). The people preparing the food were polite and quick, however the line quickly gets bogged down by people building their own bowl and being indecisive or unclear. The two men in front of me were on FaceTime with someone while making jabbing jokes / squabbling with each other, being unclear with the person preparing food, who was simply trying to understand what they want. By the time I got to checkout, I saw the line behind me grew to about 20 people because the people in front of me took a while. The bowls listed on their menu take much quicker, which is what I went for. This was about 7pm at night, so it was a dinner rush. As I was eating, a woman started yelling at another customer for cutting in line, which drew the attention of everyone in the restaurant. I would like to say that I was so excited this cava was moving to my neighborhood as my partner and I have enjoyed Cava for years at various locations. Unfortunately with this location, we have been repeatedly let down. Most of the employees act like they hate their jobs, we're always waiting several minutes for chicken and pita bread and they're never apologetic for it. I get that things happen but they look so annoyed when we tell them we'll wait for what we want. Most of the times we've waited on our pita we've had to remind the employees that we're still waiting. Some of them are too busy chitchatting and doing very little. Last week I tried it again and while my online order was ready when I got there, I still had to wait several minutes before anyone acknowledged me at the pickup window. When I got home and looked at my food, I couldn't even recognize the hummus because it was so runny. The avocado on the website menu was diced and the avocado I received was a whole half and cutting it with a plastic fork wasn't easy. But it was the ungodly amount of pepper on my pita that really sent me. I couldn't even eat it because it burned my lips. I tried brushing it off but couldn't get it all. So frustrating to spend money on something I had to throw away. I spent 20+ minutes of my time submitting the online review that was emailed to me so they could fix it before coming here to Yelp, but the automatic reply I received a day later was weak and I'm over it. It's clear that their management cares just as little as their employees. This solidified my decision to no longer eat at this particular Cava. So I finally made my first visit to CAVA -- and let me just say... where have I been?! At first glance, I'll admit I was a little overwhelmed. Some of the pre-designed bowls had ingredients I didn't recognize, so instead of playing guessing games, I decided to build my own masterpiece. Best decision ever! The line server was incredibly patient and helpful while I asked questions and sampled a few things (because we don't commit without tasting first, okay?!). With their guidance, I landed on the perfect combo: brown rice, lentils, half grilled chicken and half harissa honey chicken, sweet corn, pickled onions, feta, cucumbers, and fiery broccoli. Now let's talk about that harissa honey chicken -- whew! It definitely brought the heat -- but the cool crunch of the cucumbers and pickled onions balanced everything out beautifully. Every bite was a party: hot and cold, crunchy and tender, spicy and savory. The layers of flavor were chef's kiss! It was fresh, filling, and packed with bold Mediterranean goodness. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. And the service? Excellent from start to finish. If you haven't checked out CAVA yet, consider this your sign. I'll definitely be back! I usually don't leave bad reviews, I try to find the good in every place that I visit, but I actually cannot this time. I'm working a clothing convention here, we ordered Cava the first day, and it was fine. No complaints. My boss, myself and another ordered steak and harissa bowls today, and it was absolutely disappointing. The pita was hard as a rock and cold, they forgot multiple toppings that myself and my friend ordered, the saffron rice was not fully cooked and was crunchy and cold, and the steak was cold. I understand it is hard out here and everyone is struggling right now, but we have to have pride in the jobs that we are at. I love Cava and always recommend it to people, and I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the bowls that we all received today. Will not be ordering from there again. This was my first CAVA experience. I ordered online through the app and was taking it to go. When I got there my food wasn't ready. That's ok. When it was they handed it to me at their pick up window. However, even though I marked include utensils there was none. No worries, let me go where you just keep utensils for people who self serve and dine in. There were zero. It took at least 5 mins to get an employees' attention to help. When I asked for utensils they didn't understand. So I just asked for a fork. Finally was out of there. So service here... not so great especially when I'm just trying to pick up and go. When we finally ate, wow I loved it. I'm a huge fan of CAVA now. So besides the experience at this particular location, it was good hence I bumped this review to 4 stars. read more

Disappointing experience -- especially after trying three times I've heard so many good things about CAVA and honestly, I really wanted to love it. The first time I tried it, I fell in love with the flavors and was excited to come back. Unfortunately, our experiences at the 855 Peachtree St NE location have been frustrating enough that I don't think we'll be returning. The biggest issue has been the steak. Every single time we've gone, they've been out of steak. The first time, my husband and I waited in a long line, ordered our bowls, and only after our bowls were already being assembled were we told they were out of steak. They were somehow able to get steak from the mobile-order side for my bowl, but refused to do the same for my husband. We were told we could wait for more, so we waited about 20 minutes. During that time, other customers ordered and somehow received steak before we did. We gave them another chance yesterday. Same thing. Long line, ordered our bowls with steak, got to the protein station -- no steak. I asked if more was coming and how long it would be. The employee basically shrugged and said they didn't know. When I said I would cancel my order if steak wasn't available, they literally just walked away. Today, we decided to try one more time, this time going earlier in the day. Once again, we waited in a long line and were told they were out of steak. Then the employee walked over to the mobile-order pickup area and came back with steak. My husband and I were ordering together, but they refused to put a full serving of steak in his bowl. They offered half steak/half another protein instead. I asked how long until more steak would be available and again got "I don't know." We were eventually told it could be another 30 minutes, so my husband just declined his meal. I completely understand that restaurants run out of things. That happens. What is frustrating is that this has happened three times in a row, there seems to be no urgency to replenish the steak, and there appears to be inconsistency in who is allowed to receive the steak that is available. The customer service has also been disappointing. I've worked in food service before, so I understand that it can be stressful and I try to be understanding. But the overall attitude at this location has consistently felt like the employees are miserable and don't really care about helping customers. After our experiences, I looked at the Yelp reviews for this location and noticed other customers mentioning similar issues. Unfortunately, that made me feel like this isn't just a one-off bad experience. The food itself is actually really good, which makes this even more disappointing. I genuinely wanted to become a CAVA regular, but after three visits with the exact same issue, I don't feel like I should have to wonder whether the one protein I want will actually be available. Hopefully management takes a serious look at what's happening at this location, because there seems to be a clear operational and customer-service issue that needs to be addressed. read more

No customer should have to stand inside a restaurant for nearly an hour wondering if their food will ever be made while employees appear completely indifferent. I took my family to this Cava location this past Saturday for lunch. Upon ordering, a significant portion of menu items were not available. We ordered around this minor inconvenience. A portion of our order was four fountain drinks. When we went to go get ice, we realized that there was none. Hoping that at least the beverages would be cold from the machine, we were again disappointed. I stopped what I believe to be the "manager" - a light-skinned male with a nose stud and wearing a letterman jacket, and told him there was no ice. He said he knew and kept walking. No apology, no offer to correct the situation, just a matter-of-fact acknowledgement. Upon seeing that this was not going to be addressed, I went back to the counter to at least get a refund for the drinks, with the expectation that we would eat without having anything to drink with our meals. As a I was standing at the counter trying to get a reaction out of two other disinterested employees, the same manager had circled the back of the restaurant and came back up to the counter to see what I wanted. When I informed him that I would like a refund for the drinks, he asked if I wanted him to go get ice for the drinks from an adjacent restaurant. I told him I would appreciate it and went to go retrieve the other cups from my family. Upon arriving at my table, I noticed my family still had some lukewarm beverage in their cups, so I was going to tell him to just get ice for my drink and we would make-due with the rest. Before being able to have that conversation, he had already turned around without saying a word to me and with apparent disdain. At that point I stopped him and asked if there was some issue, based on his body language and general apathy. He said that he had "said nothing." I agreed with his assessment, but countered that his demeanor spoke volumes. I told him if it was that much of a burden, to disregard the request. He then asked again if I would like ice, to which I replied that I would. He then left and came back a few moments later with four cups of ice for everyone at the table. Upon setting them down, he dumped one of them into my son's plate of food, and another across the table. Again, without an apology or acknowledgement of any kind, he just turned around and walked off. I would assume to go get something to clean it up, but again, without any verbal acknowledgement of the situation, that is just an assumption. At this point, I told my family to stop eating, as we were leaving. I got up and again went to the fron of the store and told them I expected a refund and we wouldn't be dining with them any longer. The same manager came to the counter, took my receipt, and began pushing a myriad of buttons for an inordinate amount of time before finally telling me that he was processing the refund and I did not have to wait for it to complete. Based on my experience to this point, I was dubious of his assertion but took him at his word. Unsurprisingly, the charge posted to my account today. I have since disputed the charge with my credit card company, but felt compelled to alert you to what is far-and-away the worst customer service experience of my life. Your front of house staff at that location could do with better training, and your manager should probably find his passion elsewhere, as it seems he would rather be anywhere other than where he is currently employed. read more

***TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE*** If I could give negative stars I would. My friend and I went to Cava this afternoon, May 2, 2026 at 3 pm. We can understand that it is a busy time so we were patient with everything going on. As my order was being taken, my sauces are being scooped and almost chucked into the bowl. I then proceeded to ask for extra sauce because the portion I was given was not enough, I was met with an attitude and another scoop. Moving onto the meat, I ask for half chicken and half steak. I receive very small and shallow scoops you could literally say scraps. As the scoops are already small, I was upset. I'm telling you, every single scoop was put in with ATTITUDE!!!! I was so excited for them to open this location since it's up the street from my condo and I really love CAVA but the service here is just trash. The staffs behavior was not one of service. They ALL acted as if us being there was an inconvenience to them and not us being there keeps them employed. The female server was scraping the very last out of every pan which left me with small portions. The guy ringing us up dropped the dressing on the floor and still proceeded to put it in the bag. My partner asked for a new one and he stated he would have to charge us!! Like wth!!?? But of course we gave pushback. Oh and they were out of the braised lamb at 2pm. My food is always so good , today I was feeling so sad about something work related and the staff really made me feel so warm and welcome.

I stopped in for lunch at noon. The line was long (20 minutes to be served). I made it to the end and asked for 2 dressings ON THE SIDE, but the young lady decided to cover my food with 1 of the dressings. I asked her if she'd heard me, she turned away. The young man at the register asked her the same question. She ignored him too. I wasn't aware that my meal came with a side of rudeness. The cashier offered to remake the salad, but I did not have time so I asked for the second dressing. The young lady refused to give it to me. The young man at the register apologized profusely, then gave me the dressing. He was so embarrassed that he came out to my table to apologize again and offered a complimentary drink. read more
