I frequent this CAVA location because it's conveniently located near my workplace, and the majority of the staff consistently provide a great experience. They are friendly, welcoming, helpful, and genuinely make customers feel valued. Ashlyn, Izzy, Mario, Luis and McKenna in particular, always stand out for their excellent customer service and positive attitudes. Unfortunately, my experience with Zac, who appears to be in a management role, has been very different. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed him speaking to employees in a demeaning and unprofessional manner. As a customer, it is uncomfortable to observe this type of interaction, especially when it occurs in front of guests. Strong leadership should foster a positive and respectful work environment. It is disappointing to see behavior that appears to undermine employees rather than support them. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration, as the rest of the team works hard and deserves to be treated with professionalism and respect. read more

Cava is a staple in our house and it hits so well every single time. I miss their family meals dearly - but we still enjoy the food just as much! It just isn't as cost effective. We always place an order through the app and it is ready really quickly. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The sauces and dips are all so yummy! I am a saucy girl so I love how many you get to add as a standard! It's always clean inside and the staff is friendly. What I will say is the portion size is pretty inconsistent. My husband and I typically get the exact same bowl and they are always wayyy off. One time I didn't trust my hands so I weighed them. One of them was 400 grams heavier than the other. We always pay for double chicken and I'm sure we don't always get it because sometimes there is barely any at all. They utilize the Togo pickup shelves and their portions are the best in the region. The food is always fresh and delicious. I just attempted to grab some lunch from this location and had the worst service ever! I walked in and it was clear they were having a team meeting so many of the workers were at a table talking. There was one customer being checked out and two workers standing talking. I waited a bit to see if the young lady with the short hair curly haircut and darker skin toned (I'm only mentioning that because I want corporate and the manager) to know who I'm referring to! A Spanish woman came up from the team meeting and tried in her best English to ask me if I was ready she was very sweet! I said yes and she told the first young lady who had seen me standing there waiting to be helped that I was ready. She responded "I'll get to her in a min" she was picking out things from the ingredient options kind of cleaning the area. The she said "no, she's going to help her" referring to the woman who was already working and helping the customer checking out. Her disgusting demeanor and attitude towards me was what made me walk right out! I just want the owners to know as I'm sure this isn't the first time. Not sure about anyone else but I don't wanted to be treated like crap while spending my money with an establishment. I'm sure she wouldn't want to be treated that way and I don't either! Food fresh and fast, you really can't beat it here. I got a Greek chicken pita. It was absolutely delicious. It had a lot of different components to it and each one seem to be very excellent and quality. I loved the chicken as well because it was well seasoned, an amazing Greek dressing topped it, and the chicken itself was incredibly juicy and tender. When first looking at the menu I thought the prices might be a little high but the portions are definitely generous enough that it's a good value. There's no typical sides that come with the bowls or pitas but I didn't feel like I needed one. The food having many different components made a complete lunch and an excellent one at that. Each of the employees were super friendly and had great customer service. They're also incredibly quick. I think from the moment I ordered to the moment I paid might have been less than 1 minute and it wasn't hastily put together. It was very well done and I really enjoyed it. My partner loves Cava when she travels for their fresh, healthy food, so this is the second time I've tried it (different location). 3 stars because she loves everything she gets (harissa chicken bowl) and the kiddo liked the falafel pita too. 1 extra star because it's nice to have vegan, gf options at restaurants even if they aren't stellar. I couldn't try either of their food, so my review is about my food. Pros + easy to read allergen menu + customizable meals with a variety of choices for meat eaters + lots of gf and vegan sauces. the tahini caesar is delish, the garlic sauce was good, the greek vinaigrette ok + very fresh greens for the salad base + good toppings to add at the end that give salads some character like salted pickles, pickled red onions, cucumber and tomatoes vegetarian/vegan main choices are falafel, roasted white sweet potatoes, beluga lentils, hummus and roasted veggies Cons - falafel are not gluten free which is a real shame. Gluten is totally unnecessary in falafel. - lentils are not gf because they may be processed with wheat, so no good for celiacs or those who are serious about avoiding gluten - bland hummus. Both the roasted red pepper and the regular. Could really use some flavor and more tahini, especially if you're used to good hummus. So if you are vegan and gluten free, that reduces your main options to roasted veggies. The roasted white sweet potatoes (points for using whites instead of regular) were under roasted so every bite had a mealy, too-firm center. Also the sizes were wildly different which meant the large pieces were worse. The roasted vegetables were extremely meh. Lots of carrots (?), 1 piece of cauliflower and some burnt brussels sprouts. There's no discernible seasoning on any of the roasted veggies. Without the sauces, I wouldn't have eaten the salad. next time, I would load up on the pickles and extras at the end to make up for the bland veggies. read more

Cava is the latest concept by the parent company of Zoe's. The service is similar to Moe's in That you walk up to the counter and then Walk down the line telling each 'station' the ingredients you want in your bowl or on your pita. I am on a fairly restrictive diet and was able to find plenty of options in the 'build your own bowl' option that I could eat and stay on plan. Everyone in my family was satisfied with their meal. Although everyone on the staff was young (looked like teenagers), they were all polite, patient and helpful when i asked questions about sauces, spiciness and other choices.
