Hair in my bowl that is NOT mine
    Christian M.

I eat CAVA often and I've never had a bad experience until today. I was eating my bowl and pulled a long black strand of hair out of my mouth! This is unacceptable! CAVA needs to have better cleaning standards. Please do not eat at this location. This is my last time! For all those who ask the silly question of what if it's yours, it's not! My hair is coily and tightly curled, not long and stringy.

I frequent this location a lot since it's near home. The service and quality of the food is always above par! The team members and management are always super friendly and very professional! The dining area has a great ambiance to it. I come pretty often that even the store manager Pablo knows me by name now! Makes you want to come back each time :-)

    Messy chicken Shawarma sandwich.

I thought I would like the idea of CAVA table but this place is sloppy. The menu is black and white, printed off the office copier, and taped to the Covid barrier left over from the pandemic. Stacks of beverages are just sitting on the floor behind the counter. I dared not peak into the kitchen even though it's an open layout. This is a small location. Even so, they'll give you a numbered beeper so they can locate you when bringing out your food. Drinks options are limited but it appears they may want to have a coffee bar? I was offered lemonades, shakes, or canned beverages by the gentleman taking the order. I opted for the lemonade, which was very good. Cava table allows you to build your own bowl but unlike normal Cava... you pick from menu without seeing. I opted for a chicken Shawarma sandwich. It was overstuffed and sloppy. There was as much oil on the outside as inside the sandwich so I had to eat it with a fork. Uncomfortable seats, matched with sticky tables, and less than desirable food; this will be my one and only visit to cave table in Woodbridge

    Mocha espresso and falafel sandwich

Dropped my better half off at IKEA and went off to run errands. They were not finished shopping and I wanted to wait somewhere comfortably and read a book until they were done. CAVA had good reviews and *bonus* had espresso drinks so I tried it out. First up was the Moroccan Day Dreamer Latte. No joke when they dropped it off with the greenery floating in it I thought I made a major mistake - but it was good. Really good. Fragrant delicious spices in just the right balance. Mmmm! Some time later I received a message saying my avid shopper was taking a break and snacking, so I did too. This time I tried a chocolate mocha latte and a falafel sandwich. The falafel isn't really a sandwich, it comes in a really thick pita-like wrap which is kind of dense, and it's missing something for me - feta cheese? Tsatziki sauce? But really the entire sandwich was seriously impressive for $10.45. The mocha was good but I missed the lovely flavors of the Moroccan latte. I think this is my first CAVA experience. If it isn't, it's the first one I remember. I'm now a fan!

Food was delicious! Got two plates- one with steak and one with falafel

I love this place & concept! Has so much potential and believe it or not- you can order a normal cava bowl. Great service

Falafel is completely unedible... So hard I can't even break with my hands. Almost chipped a tooth! This place just opened! So bummed!

The atmosphere itself is so nice on the inside and props for an outdoor patio to help with social distancing!

We went upstairs and the furniture would be more attractive in an antique store. We ordered kibbeh and hummus as appetizer. The meat inside Kibbeh was cold and the server changed it to two new ones. Same result, but now it was frozen in center. We did not bother to mind the staff again. The hummus was good! We also ordered mix grill. I am so sorry but that was a huge disappointment! Meat was burnt, and was a handful to chew in addition. Salad that came with it didn't taste much either, like Arabic salads usually do. Even tough the person that served us was nice and attentive, it doesn't help if the ambiance and the food quality is of so low standard. For hookah evening I recon this place will work for certain parties, for dining only, you should look for a better option.

We were greeted by a lady who was at the top of the stairs. We walked up and that's where the lounging and dining was. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich ($12) and knafeh ($10), my boyfriend got the lamb kabob sandwich ($12). The Knafeh came out first per request and to put it in the simplest way, I don't think I would come back to order knafeh here... especially not for $10 (only $2 less than our sandwich?!). It definitely got rid of my knafeh craving but I wouldn't come back for it, I'd drive the 24mins to go to Jenins pastry and get knafeh there. My sandwich was delicious. It was very juicy and full. Definitely enjoyed it a lot. The fries were pretty good too. What I got was definitely a safe option but I'm really happy with it. The service? It seemed to be just one casually dressed lady... nothing bad, nothing good. She didn't check in, just walked us to our table, took our order, brought our food, and that's about it. The place? Very dim, very quiet. Would I come back again? Yes, probably just for the wrap and nothing else.

Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you--this place is an absolute treasure. When I walked in,…read morethe restaurant was cold, and no one was at the counter for the first five minutes, so I wasn't expecting much. Hence why I didnt take any pictures. But once I took my first bite, I was hooked. Hands down, this was the best gyro/pita-style sandwich I've ever had! I ordered a mix of lamb, chicken, falafel, and gyro meat, and every single bite was incredible. The flavors were bold, the meat was perfectly seasoned, and the sauces were out of this world. The bread, which was similar to naan, took everything to the next level--it was soft, warm, and perfect for wrapping up all that deliciousness. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful food that will blow your expectations out of the water, don't skip this place. It may not look like much, but trust me, it's worth it! I'm already planning my next visit.

Overall, if chicken kabobs were on the Cheesecake Factory menu, this version would be on the skinnylicious menu for those counting calories and preferring a healthier less indulgent version since flavors seem muted and textures appear lacking due to insufficient oil/grease.
