    Turkey Club Sandwich
    Luke A.

We recently visited hidden kitchen. We were tired of going to our usual spots and found this "hidden" gem on Yelp. We never would have even known it was there just driving by. They have a pretty diverse menu and with sandwiches, you get your choice of delicious sides. It's counter service for the ordering but we found the table service to be surprisingly attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back to try more of their menu offerings

Breakfast and more breakfast! What a spot and the name truly fits the location. It's a hideout full of great food and service. First you need try their Breakfast Plate which is Eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, fruit & toast. You could also get it with pancakes as well. The flavors are outstandingly good. Another must have is their Lox Bagel which is Smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomato, red onion, cucumber, capers & dill. Now you may ask, what beverage do I pair these items with? Let me break this down. The French Vanilla, Mocha, Chai, Matcha, Hot Chocolate, Iced Tea, or Press Coffee would go well with any of these items. Their smoothies are also on point as you could get a Tropical, Strawberry Banana, Banana Protein, or Mango. The ambience is always good as you feel as you are in a hideout cafe.

Tuna melt with side of pasta salad, delicious!

Had the most lovely experience in this serene space with our delicious meal. I was visiting from out of town and randomly craving a tuna melt sandwich. My sister had been to the Hideout a few weeks prior and recommended them as an option for lunch. When we arrived it was about an hr to closing. I ordered the tuna sandwich and asked if they could make it into a melt and Fredi the owner, who was taking my order, said they could accommodate my request! My sister and I wanted to both include our dishes with a side of pasta salad, however they were sold out so we had to select another side option. When the food was brought out, Fredi had apparently cooked a fresh batch of pasta salad just for us and brought it out with the rest of the food. It was so kind of him to do that. We enjoyed our meal in the peaceful atmosphere of the covered patio space. Quiet, cool, and peaceful, it was such a relaxing place to eat. The food was absolutely delicious, simple and healthy tasting but packed with flavor. Fredi was the one to bring out food and we had a nice chat with him about how he started his business. You can truly tell he put his heart and passion into this place. The service is exceptional and you can tell Fredi really cares about every patron who comes to this space. I'm so glad my sister found this "hidden" gem. If only I lived closer I would frequent this everyday!

I tried one of their all natural smoothies. It was a solid 9/10. I love how there are no extra additives or sugars. I will definitely be back to try their food next time. The location of this cafe is also very fitting for the name. Nestled away in the ground level courtyard of a business building. A beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy your morning and afternoon with a wonderful cafe within reach

If breakfast/brunch is what you are looking for come here. The food is delicious, my breakfast burrito very fulfilling. Potatoes on the side with grilled oñions wow, it hit the spot! With a nice ice double shot vanilla latte. What else could you want?! Service very friendly and nice hideout from the busy street cafes/ brunch spots around.

    Avocado Toast

Let me start by saying the customer service at Hideout Cafe was out of this world! I actually got lost trying to find the place, and the gentleman who helped me--his name might have been Fredi (my receipt shows F.R.R.)--took the time to give me step-by-step driving directions over the phone. When I arrived, I was greeted with a big smile and my food was ready. I ordered the avocado toast and it was absolutely delicious! The portion was generous and it even came with a nice side of fresh fruit. Great service, great food, and a wonderful experience overall. I'll definitely be coming back. If you're in Woodland Hills, give Hideout Cafe a try!

Crossiant Croissant French Toast plate Chilaquiles Verdes With Steak Horchata latte

My wife and I were looking for a place to get breakfast with our dog. We found hideout cafe online and were so happy. Fredi was so kind, helpful, and accommodating. It is hidden away which is fitting for the name. It was quiet and peaceful and had outdoor seating. So this is perfect for dogs and kids. Our meal was excellent and tasted so good! My wife got the horchata latte and loved it! You can tell fredi cares about his customers and quality of food. We will definitely be back!

A little pasta salad and some cabbage salad on top.
    Monica S.

Specific for Too Good to Go. Bought a $5.99 box, supposed to be for $18 worth of food. It was just a single box of some pasta salad and cabbage salad on top. It was clearly not worth the advertised $18 price. They either don't understand the app or they are purposely stiffing people. The actual premises were very nice and the quality of the 3 bites of food was good lol

    Chilaquiles Verdes with Steak
    Crystal K.

I was so exited to try this as the concept of the hideaway cafe was cute, the pictures of the food looked good, and it had great reviews. I ordered the steak chilaquiles and the breakfast burrito. Both did not hit and missed the mark. I was disappointed. The salsa was too sour and everything else was a bit too salty and lacking in flavor.

Great service. Great sense of humor from the host. The food was magnificent fresh, hot and tasty.

Ok, this place just keeps impressing me. First off, they're completely seed oil-free. The drinks aren't overly sweet--just perfect. And the tallow fries... guys, these are hands-down the best fries I've ever had. You have to try them.

    Chicken Quinoa Power Bowl

This place is called hideout for a reason....because it's hard to find LOL. But on a serious note it was very hard to find as it was my first time going here. The service was friendly and very welcoming which I appreciate. My kids food was pretty good & so was my husbands avocado toast but sadly my dish was not the best. Although the presentation of my bowl was beautifully done the taste wasn't the best. I got the egg white chicken quinoa bowl & it was extremely watery making it difficult to eat. I would say this place is good for the littles and for more basic savory breakfast not so much their healthier options.

One of the best avocado toast iv had , the only reason I stopped by LOL! But they definitely have a broad menu . It's a bit hard to find but once you come here once's you'll know the spot ! Good coffee as well, fast quick service. Plenty of outdoor patio style seating and few indoors. $30 for coffee and avocado toast (big portions), but then again it's in Woodland Hills. Quality food over price , feels like I'll be stopping by often.

Was in town for the weekend and was looking for a good coffee spot and came across Re Coffee…read more The spot looked really interesting in decor and setup and the pictures of these foam topped drinks; aka the Einspanner Latte. Instantly grabbed my attention and I had to try. Ordered: Coconut Cream Top ($8) Vanilla Einspanner Latte - iced ($7) Vanilla Einspanner Latte- hot ($7) Both drinks were delicious but the Vanilla Einspanner Latte was amazing. I let my girlfriend try it who had ordered the Coconut Cream Top, and she loved it as well. The cream top was the perfect amount of sweet and was really lite; making it the perfect cap (or top) to a coffee drink. We liked it so much we made sure to come back and each order one before heading back out of town, lol. It's official my favorite coffee drink now and I hope I can find a coffee establishment back home, that can do somethinf similar. Overall: Great coffee shop with amazing drinks. I would 100% come back if ever back in the Woodland Hills area again.

Not sure if it's worth driving to The Valley just for cake, but What Would Ethan Hunt Do?…read more Like I'm sure at least 30% of their clientele, I first heard about Doan's when multiple news outlets started posting about the magical White Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake that Tom Cruise gifts colleagues and associates every year right before Christmas. Whatever you think of Tom Cruise, he is a towering figure in entertainment and thus a pillar of Los Angeles civic pride... if Pete "Maverick" Mitchell esteems a piece of dessert to this degree, who are we mere mortals to ignore such ambrosia? You can get a whole 10" cake delivered to you anywhere in America for $140... or you can make the trek out to Woodland Hills and get it for much less. For a simple "taste test" if you're counting calories or afraid of commitment, they also have Mini Bundt Cakes about the size of a large slice of cake for individual or shared enjoyment. The cake is good: I wouldn't say it's great... although I suppose to someone like Tom who rarely ever consumes sugar, it probably tastes like Heaven. Sweet but not teeth-achingly so, the mix of cream cheese frosting, coconut flakes, white chocolate chips, and coconut bundt cake really reminds me of something grandma would serve you when you'd go for a visit... Definitely would go great with some hot coffee with lots of cream and sugar. I got a Mini Bundt Cake and a cookie for $21.50... not the most affordable treat but also not an absurd price for something that has reached near-mythical status. Would I drive to The Valley just for this? That's a big HELL NO from me... but if I'm in the area and looking for something sweet and a story to go with it, Doan's Bakery provides a fantastic option.
