I didn't eat anything that would make me rush back. Scotch eggs = good, sausage tasted nice, slightly overcooked yolk. Fish and chips = good, slightly "chewy" batter when you want crisp. Cottage pie = solid flavor! A little small. Sticky toffee pudding = good, but too much cake. I'd prefer concentrated flavor and a smaller serving. Honestly not a bad meal at all.

They have cornhole, picnic tables, outdoor cushion seating and bar seating. Service: Our server was good and food came out fairly quickly. Food: I ordered the farmers market salad and requested to sub goat cheese for the blue cheese and they were able to accommodate it. The salad was very good with lots of toppings. My only complaint was that the grilled chicken I added on was a bit dry and maybe I would've liked less dressing (it came tossed already). I also fried my son's kid's grilled cheese with French fries and the fries were awesome. Super crispy and flavorful. The grilled cheese was basic, but good. My husband got the cluck and crown chicken sandwich and said the chicken was also slightly overcooked and portion size of the protein was small, but the other toppings like avocado and bacon still made it worthwhile. He enjoyed the sweet potato fries drizzled with honey.

We caught happy hour (which ends at 6:30 p.m.), enjoyed live music from a talented saxophone player until around 9:00 p.m., met a photographer selling beautiful, high-quality glass-encased photos, and were completely amazed by a magician performing unbelievable card tricks right at our table. What truly made the evening, though, was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests feel special. That level of service elevated the entire experience. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, with elegant décor, gold accents throughout, beautiful brickwork, and spotless restrooms. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed and added to the upscale atmosphere. This is definitely on the pricier side, so I'd recommend taking a look at the menu beforehand if you're budget-conscious. That said, my steak was cooked to absolute perfection, and the quality matched the price. Overall, this would be a fantastic spot for a date night or a special occasion. I would absolutely come back. It was unprofessional and flat out rude. However, the gentlemen at the bar as well as the magician were very welcoming and kind! Seems the only good things going for the venue is the upbeat atmosphere and the food. The magican was a great addition and came by our table while we waited for our food, definitely the highlight of the night in my opinion. The food was good but it took an hour and a half just to get our appetizers. Our server didn't give us updates or check in with us on how long the food would take or the process of it the entire time we waited. Overall, not a huge fan of their customer service but the ambiance food and entertainment make up for it.

The setting is perfect for any delicious plate ordered. We were a party of four. All plates were delicious with exceptional and noteworthy comments made for the salmon and the half order seafood plate. (I had this) Everything on my plate was delicate, fresh and savory! To compliment all of this the SERVICE was top tier and utterly refined. From the valet to every facet of the waitstaff we were well taken care of. Our gentlemen server was very polite and accommodating to us as this was our first time in such a place! I intended to try and "new thing" and ordered the caviar and roasted peach plate. So delicious! The sweet and savory combination was a hit and really made that first experience exceptional.

There was nothing that made any dish stand out. We ordered the gnocchi appetizer and scallop appetizer. The scallops barely had any sear and zero flavor to them. When we received our bread we asked for butter and was told it was already on the bread and not provided any. Why have a butter knife at our setting then? Other tables had butter to complement their bread. We ordered the ribeye and fish as our main courses. The fish was cooked perfectly, but again lacked any flavoring or anything to make it special that we would want to return. Overall for the price we paid, I don't feel that we would be return customers.

I'd been here decades ago for an after-work drink. It wasn't memorable. At first glance, it's just a dark bar on the first floor. One of the kids actually asked, "Are we allowed in here?" I saw a few other kids already inside so we decided to go for it. After a lukewarm reception from the bartender, who just waved us toward the back of the room to "order food over there," we found the menu and ordered lunch directly with the cooks in the kitchen. They were friendly enough and got our order exactly right. I'm not a fan of having to order twice and pay separately for food and drinks, but that's how they do it here. Up, up to the third floor we went, where we finally found a table big enough to seat all five of us. You can't say there's not a lot to look at here. Very kitschy, but also kind of junky, dusty and sticky. One kid enjoyed a free game of pinball while we waited...and waited...for our name to be called to pick up our food from the kitchen two floors down. Service would be nice, but not a thing here. I have to say, the burgers were huge and very tasty, as were the abundant curly fries and the onion rings. And we got free refills on the sodas (which, of course, we had to go downstairs to get ourselves). Overall, I'd give 3.5 stars but round up for generous portions of tasty grub.

The French onion soup was excellent, flavor was on point and soup was hot. The boneless beef braised short rib entree was incredible. I literally licked my plate clean. The steak was extremely salty, to the point that it overwhelmed the flavor of the beef. On top of that, it was finished with so much alcohol that every bite tasted like liquor instead of steak. Rather than enhancing the dish, it completely overpowered it. For a premium steak at this price point, I expected high-quality execution and balanced flavors. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing steaks I've had, and I left feeling like the meal simply wasn't worth the cost.
