First time here for my friend's birthday dinner. We were met with the staff rolling their eyes and having an attitude after we were seated when we let them know 3 of our guests cancelled last minute. It was unprofessional and flat out rude. However, the gentlemen at the bar as well as the magician were very welcoming and kind! Seems the only good things going for the venue is the upbeat atmosphere and the food. The magican was a great addition and came by our table while we waited for our food, definitely the highlight of the night in my opinion. The food was good but it took an hour and a half just to get our appetizers. Our server didn't give us updates or check in with us on how long the food would take or the process of it the entire time we waited. Overall, not a huge fan of their customer service but the ambiance food and entertainment make up for it.

    Overcooked ribeye or NY strip?!

I had high hopes for V's Paradise after seeing so many great reviews. For the $$$ spent, I will keep it real for my fans. The location was easy to find, there was plenty of parking, and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the ambiance. Our server, Zain, was Mr. Speedy. He took our drink and appetizer orders and rushed off without even asking if I wanted to order anything. It was an odd way to start the evening. I ordered the Regular Grey Goose Martini expecting a balanced 50/50 martini, but it came out way too wet. My friend's Perfect Peach cocktail was also noticeably watered down. The food was equally disappointing. The chicken wings tasted more like oven-baked wings from a pizza joint than buffalo wings. The scallop crudo was the one bright spot of the meal, it was fresh and delicious. We ordered the 14 oz ribeye medium, but it arrived overcooked and looked more like a Thin New York strip with virtually no marbling. For $69, it certainly didn't feel like a premium ribeye. My friend's lamb chops were also cooked well done. What ultimately ruined the experience, however, were the amount of flies swarming our table. We could barely get a few bites in before constantly shooing them away. It became so distracting that we decided to pack everything up and leave. I had mentioned several times that we were celebrating my friend's birthday. While I never expect complimentary desserts, I do appreciate restaurants acknowledging special occasions with a simple "Happy Birthday." There wasn't any acknowledgment at all. The most awkward moment of the night came when a inhouse photographer approached our table, took our picture, and assumed we were a couple, asking us to pose romantically. It was completely unexpected and uncomfortable. The photos they took was not a free souvenir for dinning here, it cost $25 to keep the photo. V's Paradise is undeniably beautiful, but beautiful decor can only take you so far. Between the disappointing food, overcooked entrées, flies at our table, and awkward interactions throughout the evening, this was one of my biggest dining disappointments in recent memory. I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it missed the mark.

I had a blast.! The food was everything! Service was too tore at the bar. Owner V came out and made it his point to introduce himself. You can tell he put his everything into this place. ambience is 12/10 IYKYK! I would totally do a birthday or special occasion or just drinks with girls here. Live music.. there really shouldn't be anything less than 4.5/5 star rating. Worth a try! Will be back!! bar service should also get a raise. The Millionaire 'Marg!!! We had the short ribs, lamb, artichoke, wings all worth it ! (Wings were spicy for the ones who can't handle heat- like top lip sweat heat)

We visited V's Paradise yesterday to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. We'd booked reservations a month in advance because my mom had been following them on social media, and the reality exceeded the hype. The vibes of the restaurant are the perfect blend of classic historic charm and sophisticated modern dining--it's a beautiful space. The hospitality is next-level. Fardeen greeted us warmly and stepped in seamlessly whenever needed. Our server, Zane, was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through the menu with perfect recommendations. We were even surprised by the owner, Vardan, who personally wished my mother a happy birthday--he is truly genuine and thoughtful. Richard, the general manager, also took the time to share the family history of the business and gave us a tour of the establishment. He even explained the story behind every dish we ordered! The Food & Drinks: The menu is exceptional. We started with the Strawberry Paradise, Old Fashioned, Vodka Martini, and Moscow Mule--all perfectly balanced. For the table, the Meat and Chicken Kebabs and the Chicken Fried Oysters were tender and packed with flavor. We also shared a Tomahawk that my mother described as "cooked to perfection." Our individual entrées--the Halibut, Wagyu Short Rib, NY Steak, and the 5 oz. Japanese Wagyu--were PHENOMENAL. The quality of the meat was exquisite; it takes a lot to impress me, but I was blown away. A huge shoutout to Sasha, who was a total pro at the end of the night, coming in clutch to capture our group photos from every angle to make sure we had the perfect memories. Most importantly, my mom was so happy and thoroughly enjoyed her celebration. Thank you to the entire team at V's for making her 70th so special!

Make reservations BUT they will list you if not! This was my birthday dinner and this place was a class act! Pet friendly and the whole spot was SWANKY! Worth the wait! There was a mix up and they missed our entrees & brought dessert too soon. They made me feel special on my special day! Everything was delicious and the drinks were perfect! Dress up & go out for a night on the town! They will treat you right!

This place is great! The staff is very attentive and the establishment has a great vibe. We got the NY steak and frites, lobster risotto and the beet salad. All the food was really good. Their prices are very fair (except the $4 ranch) It is home made ranch tho and not from a bottle. I would defiantly come back when in the Sacramento area. Our waiter/ host/ bartender/ everything ( his name started with a V) was great as well as the rest of the staff

We went to V's Paradise specifically because they had a live saxophonist, and it ended up being a great experience. We came during brunch when the space was bright and not too crowded. The hostess and our server were very attentive, they let us choose our seats and even moved us closer to the saxophone, which we appreciated. I ordered hot water, which surprisingly can be hard to get at some places, so I was pleased they brought it without any issue. We tried the Dubai Espresso Martini; it was good, though I think next time I'd just stick with a regular espresso martini. For food, we ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, the French toast, and a side salad that wasn't even on the menu. The crab cakes were delicious and full of flavor. We added a side of fries because they were recommended, and they did not disappoint; thin, crispy, and well seasoned. The French toast was tasty, especially with the compote. The side salad felt very fall-inspired, and I was genuinely impressed with how quickly they put it together even though it wasn't listed on the menu. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at V's Paradise and will definitely be back.

Came to VS Paradise for a late night drink. Ended up getting some delicious dessert. With a perfectly drink to wash it down.

Sunday, 8/10/2025 @ V's Paradise. Food is good here. Parking a little hard to find. You just gotta in the parking structure in old Sacramento. Restaurant is still clean and beautiful. Staffs nice. I had a nice time here and enjoyed it. We came here to celebrate a birthday. But one of my friend, after I left, said she had a rough time with the manager and did not like this restaurant. I still gotta bring my spouse to try here. I haven't brought him yet.

The food and drinks were good. The place has a pleasing atmosphere, and the staff was nice. The sink in the men's bathroom had little to no water pressure though. I might come back here next time I'm in Sacramento.

Came here on a Saturday night. Made reservations about a week in advance. PARKING: street parking is tricky in the Old Sac area especially by this place. There are a couple of parking lots nearby. Do plan accordingly. INTERIOR: very stunning, upscale decor. Tastefully done. This place is appropriate for a date night or special occasion. You will impress who ever you bring here! Also - people do come here dressed to impress, so do keep that in mind! AMBIANCE: Live saxophone player was a real delight! He was so energetic and fun! Some people got up and danced. There was a photographer that was taking photos of each table. She returned with them framed for sale, which we thought was a bit tacky. Either give a complimentary photo as memorabilia like other upscale steakhouses do, otherwise don't interrupt us for photos and sales like you would experience at an amusement park. $25 is what we overheard the price for 1 picture in a plastic frame was! DINING: the salad were fresh, wines listed paired well with entrees, charcuterie board contents were all well chosen. The cheese was creamy and sweet. For main courses we picked halibut (a bit fishy tasting/smelling), steak (exceptional here!), and corn risotto (amazing!). They were very considerate of my dietary restrictions and were able to make the dish vegetarian (and can make it vegan too!) PLEASE GET DESSERT AND COFFEE HERE! The Armenian coffee is so creamy and some of the best I've ever had here! We enjoyed every bite of the honey cake and ice cream. Service was attentive and welcoming. We really enjoyed this unique experience; this restaurant is truly one of a kind! :)

Came with some girlfriends for brunch because they posted they had a DJ playing reggaeton music that day and thought it would be a fun vibe. The DJ was set up but he wasn't playing any music, it was all regular music over the loudspeakers. Maybe because it was dead inside??? Anyways, we got a carafe of mimosas which was ridiculously expensive ($55), my friends both got the crab cake Benedict and I opted for the frittata. My frittata was mediocre, it honestly lacked flavor. I had to drown it in Siracha. My potatoes were a tad burn as well. My friends devoured the crab cake Benedict tho, so that must have been good. Overall, I feel this place is a one and done experience for me. I get the location and overhead must be crazy high for this place, but I couldn't justify some of their prices (especially that mimosa carafe). Oh and when we asked the waiter when we were paying our tab what happened to the DJ music, he walked over the to DJ and he started playing the reggaeton music, as were leaving.

V's Paradise is an Armenian owed restaurant located in Old Sac. Now don't let the surrounding Old Sac charm deceive you on the type of decor and ambiance inside. It is far from that and is truly stunning and elegant all throughout. Perfect spot for a date night or perhaps, a night to have a jaw dropping meal experience. Ours was the carousel drink. :) Lots of ooh's and ah's. We came here for my sister's birthday and were treated so kindly. The host, server (Ronshell), and GM were very attentive providing amazing hospitality from start to finish. We ordered a lot because YOLO. Ahhahahaha. The Carousel 8/10 - Jaw dropping, strong, pricy Armenian Caesar 8/10 - Deliciously familiar yet still unique with Armenian flavors Confit Chicken Wings 6/10 - Nothing diff than wings from BWW Tomatoes & Burrata 7/10 - Choice of bread should have been a crusty one and burrata is not for everyone Wagyu Short Rib 9/10 - Magnificently flavorful & tender. Choice of cut can make or break your meal experience. Roasted Corn Risotto (sub lobster for chicken) 10/10 - Looked as if it had been sitting under the heating lamps awhile but the taste absolutely made up for it Pacific Halibut 10/10 - Perfectly tender and fresh Affogato 8/10 - Great wake up dessert and coffee wasn't too bitter Grandma's Honey Cake 5/10 - We couldn't get over the look of this being stacked toast despite it being cake. Flavor was meh Fine dining is definitely the vibe and experience you'll get here. You'll catch live entertainment Friday's and Saturday's. We came on a Sunday so no live music but they had a good playlist going. Due to the seasonal menu this time I was limited on what I truly would enjoy eating. I don't do seafood and eating red meat isn't my preferred protein, hence subbing for chicken in the risotto. As much as I loved my meal I don't think I'll be coming back. However, it is a place I'd recommend to others for the fine dining experience.

I want to say they specialize in mezcal cocktails? So if you're not a fan of mezcal, there is beer as an option. I came around 4pm so it was a bit empty but the staff was welcoming. Place was cleaned and very cute. There is also plenty of street parking available. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and want a quick meal with a delicious cocktail!

Having not been here in over a year, there have been a lot of changes! 1. No more happy hour food…read more2. You cannot walk up the wooden stairs to the third floor 3. Definitely new management! As for the food: 1. The grilled shrimp were nice and firm and well grilled. Enjoyed them a lot 2. The hash brown fries were pretty unique and definitely a must get. It comes with a nice creamy sauce that you want to dip everything in. Only criticism is the prices. Didn't really order a lot of food with two appetizers, but I paid two main entree type prices for them. Were that great? Definitely! Just be aware up front if this is a factor.

Great food great drinks and above and beyond service! The place is beautiful and sophisticated…read more For my first drink I ordered a martini. This is my first classic martini (unlike lychee martinis I've had before at other places). My server asked how I like it, with olive juice or with lemon twist or another option I don't remember. To be honest I don't know how I like it because it's is my first classic martini. So I was honest with him. I said I'll do whatever you recommend because I wanted to try a classic martini cuz I've been watching Gossip Girl. I felt silly admitting I wanted a martini because of a tv show. But my server actually did his research and found that Blair (a main character in the show) likes her martini with a lemon twist. And that is the martini I got. He brought frozen glass and poured the drink on the spot. It was such a vibe and a great drink. For food I got the grilled prawns. This dish is delicious and goes so well with my martini! For my second drink I got the shiso fresh. I was debating between two drinks and asked my server for suggestions. He is absolutely right with this recommendation. Shiso fresh is refreshing and sweet but not too sweet. I loved it. Service is wonder and drinks are tasty. I can't wait to come back!

My third visit to Midtown Spirits and I still had an amazing dinning experience…read more I absolutely love The dude abides cocktail. It was strong; however, I enjoyed the blend of vodka, milk, and cold brew coffee liqueur over a large cold brew ice cube. The chicken lumpia's were delicious, especially with the sweet chili dipping sauce. We ordered the ube pancakes to share as this is one of our favorites. It is too heavy to devour alone. I am so glad that I decided to try the hella loco as it consisted of all the proteins that I like....beef patty, bacon, spam, longanisa, and eggs. No complaints on this visit and I will be dinning in again in the near future.

Im a bit disappointed in the happy hour food…read more I've been here several times for their drinks, but something just didn't click in my most recent visit. I came here for happy hour and ordered a handful of their items. Chicken Lumpia - over all I was pleased with how piping hot, fresh out the fryer it was. A bit thin for my linking but I appreciated there were 6 pieces. The sauce did not pair well. There was something off about it that isn't your typical sweet and sour; maybe the sauce was made in house. Sisig fries - decent portion of fries but fell short on the pork. Lacked an egg and didn't really meet the sisig flavors that I'm used to. You can definitely taste the zestiness of the lemon - nice touch, but other than that it's just fries with pork, red onion and green onion garnish. Hot dog - a $9 happy hour hot dog was the biggest disappointment. Sure the bread texture was good, toasted with a nice chew, but that was it. The dog itself was charged to my linking but it really didn't feel worth the money spent for its portion. Fries - 100% would get again. Cauliflower bites - I liked this too, flavor was good but such a small portion our table has to order two. Similar to the hotdog, not sure if it's worth the spend for the portion size. Despite the food not satisfying my cravings, the service was great. The young lady was helpful and was working hard taking orders, making drinks and delivering the food. The place was pretty busy at least the indoor area. Plenty of seating outside, but in this heat not sure if it's a good idea. Didn't see any misters but would be a nice touch to draw in more folks. Side note: some of the cocktails are premade, and can be overly sweet.
