Good morning, I am not one to normally write negative reviews but I just wanted to tell of my…read moreexperience just now at V&L. First of all I normally bring my car here as I have seen them be helpful, fair, and thorough. One time they even dropped me off at my house 1/4 mile so I didn't have to walk in the snow. Maybe the main guy in the morning was having a bad day or things have changed but I went there first thing in Monday morning the 27 Nov 23 because for some reason the day before all of my lights came on in their own, the lda, anti collision and engine but my car was running fine. I thought it may just need to be reset but even after googling it couldn't get it to reset. The guy said a diagnostic would take 3 to 5 hrs but was a little hesitant about doing it? Maybe he was extra busy. I was going to leave it but then he said probably the easiest thing to do is to unhook the cable from the battery, let it sit for 5 minutes and that would reset it. Not being good with car talk I asked him if it would be easy or hard to do that. He said probably easy and t then suggested to take it to oreillys to have them help me. In the past I would have thought if it was a simple fix for them he may have offered to disconnect it for me and reconnect it to see if it worked. I would have paid him to do that but it was obvious he didn't want to help me. I will still go there for things as they are very close and accurate but if I find the same feeling I will start going somewhere else. I didn't feel welcome. The weird thing is that when I left to go to O'Reilly I looked down and all of the lights were off. I guess whoever turned them on felt bad and used their energy turn turn them off. As far as the main man there, this time was a customer service fail. Please remember that your customers are loyal to you for a reason, don't let them down. Thank you Mindy Harris

It wasn't an easy car to find, but he made it happen. He also got me an incredible deal, even better than the internet pricing I found. There were no games, just great communication, honesty, and a genuine desire to earn my business. His follow up after the sale has been just as impressive. He checks in, answers questions quickly, and truly cares that I'm happy with my purchase. That level of customer service is rare. Gabby was wonderful as well. She was patient, friendly, and made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I walked in. She made all the paperwork easy and stress free, and she was a pleasure to work with. If you're looking for a Mazda, ask for Aysar and Gabby. They earned my business and my trust. I absolutely love my new Miata, and I'll be recommending them to my friends and family.

Brian and Cameron are great at making you feel welcome and comfortable, and talking to them is a joy. My most recent experience at Tim Dahle Mazda Murray was with Cameron and Stan. I am impressed by the thoroughness of the tech Stan. His attention to detail is excellent. For example, he noticed damage to the underbelly of the vehicle that other technicians failed to bring to my attention. He did an excellent job repairing the underbelly. He was also outstanding servicing my transmission fluid. My car sounds great now. I like how I get a video of my vehicle while they inspect it. The waiting room was great for completing some continuing education while I waited. Thank you Cameron and Stan for the best experience at your dealership.

Super courteous staff, all very very friendly people. Truly go it of their way to make your experience the best. Great pricing. Absolutely beats everyone in the valley. I will go here for future oil changes and any repairs I need. Came here to get the window in my Lexus fixed. Long story short, I needed a whole new window with all the works and they did it for me within 3 hours which included a window chase-down from one end of the valley to the other. Should have cost well into the $1000's but paid significantly less than that . They work with you and your budget and again, I love em. Madie is super helpful and very very resourceful. All the guys in the team will not disappoint.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!…read more I had taken my previous vehicles to the location in Utah county, and was happy with the service so after moving to SLC when my truck needed work I went to the Salt Lake location. I parked my manual transmission truck in their parking lot, and with an old E-brake, left the car in gear to prevent it from rolling. Upon walking outside a tech followed me out and got in the truck to check mileage. She started the car without checking it was in gear, and floored it directly into the wall of their shop. Instead of stopping, she kept her foot on the gas to the point that she did a burn out with the rear tires. This caused damage to the front bumper of my truck. The manager of the shop called me after the incident to discuss resolution. He offered to either pay for a new bumper, or discount the service by the cost of a bumper. The requested service came out to $3200 before the damage to the bumper. No offer of discounted labor beyond the cost of the bumper. They called a few days later saying they had identified a faulty wheel bearing and quoted over $1,100 to replace. When I told them I'd like to get another quote from a competitor, then the manager offered to do discounted labor on the wheel bearing alone. (Mind you they already were working on an upper control arm on the same side). When again I requested to wait and get another quote he then offered free labor on the wheel bearing alone. Ready to put it to bed I agreed. When I went to retrieve my truck today it was covered in a dried on tacky substance that was not there on drop off. When I asked what it was one of the techs let me know that they had noticed a few weeks ago they had a leaky water heater, and they had decided to leave the truck parked directly under it for days on end. Not a new issue, but a known issue and that I was the lucky customer who got their vehicle parked directly below. Unfortunately this was brought to my attention after I just forked over $4,000. In my experience here's what you can expect from Steve's Automotive Specialists on 2300 E. They will let front desk workers with no understanding of vehicles drive and operate your car in a radically unsafe manner, even post massive mistake they will look to up-charge you at every opportunity, and to top it all off they will treat your property like garbage. This shop charges top tier prices, and gives a horrific customer experience. What a joke! How a shop like this stays open conducting their business this way is shocking. I'd pay double to go to someone else next time.

Lo and behold we come to pick up our car and they said they already serviced it with the service we specifically told them multiple times we did not want! They then say that they have no record of us telling them that we didn't want it and do not let us leave with OUR CAR until we pay the $1400 for the service WE DID NOT WANT! Purchased this car three and a half years ago and within the first month it completely broke down on us and there is constantly something wrong with it. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. BUYERS BEWARE! I would rather jump off a bridge into a pit full of spikes that are lit on fire and get eaten alive by crocodiles at the bottom than go here. Hope this helps!
