Initially I was advised on the phone by another highly rated company that my blinds were too old to repair and would have require a new set of blinds. This, of course, meant megabucks: e.g. $300 just for their service call(!), new blinds, and installation. I might be an octogenarian, but this sticker shock estimate definitely was a sign to keep Googling & phoning other companies. The Shade and Drape Depot responded immediately and advised me on the phone, based on their experience, that my blinds were absolutely repairable. Thanks to the repairman, Andrew, the repair simply required drilling my vertical blinds support beam back into the ceiling. No new blinds required, & the service call charge was considerably less than the competitor's ripoff price. Thanks so much to The Shade and Drape Depot for their honesty and fair prices!
