Last month my sister and I went for a little Girls night and we were not disappointed! The staff were extremely friendly and gave great recommendations. I would suggest making reservations if you are gonna do dinner here on a Friday or Saturday as it does get busy! The food was better than I could have imaged. The deep-fried fritters were delicious. The garlic bread was good. Our main courses were bland. That included a truffle oil mushroom pizza with a good crust. *Chefs Kiss* We arrived to Cross Keys Mother's Day evening around 5ish and only planned to get ice cream but while walking through the courtyard, my son noticed that CeCe's had the NBA game on and asked if we could watch the game and have dinner, so why not. I was quickly greeted by Jeff the Manager who asked if I had a reservation which we hadn't and I asked if I needed one (only because the restaurant indoor and outdoor was not packed). Jeff stated I did need to have reservations, but was more than eager to accommodate us and our preference to sit outdoors in the courtyard. This scored major points for me, so at this point I didn't care how much the meal would cost. CeCe's has the perfect variety for outdoor seating whether it's a party of one or ten. So, if the weather is nice, I highly recommend you request to sit outside-it's beautiful! Riya was our server and she was amazing, very professional and kind. On to the food, I ordered the Mezze Rigatoni and an Aperol Spritz while my son ordered a Blue Raspberry Kids Italian Soda and Kids Pasta with Tomato Sauce. The Aperol Spritz was HUGE! It was not the cute and dainty wine glass version of an Aperol Spritz, this was one of those it's been a long week and I'm just trying to relax sized Aperol Spritz in a goblet-I love! The Mezze Rigatoni was silky and luscious with the perfect Al dente bite. You can tell the pasta was fresh made and not frozen. My son enjoyed his meal and ate everything on his plate. Oh y'all, I almost forgot, they provide a complimentary loaf of fresh garlic bread and baby it's so good they could charge for it but I hope they never do. Regardless, if they did-I'm buying it. Lol. I attended this restaurant for my birthday celebration with five other friends. I ordered the Chicken Milanese. It had absolutely no flavor. It was heavily breaded, and then deep fry to the point where the chicken was actually like rubber. I didn't complain or say anything because my friends were treating me to dinner the sauce that was served on the side in a little copper pot had absolutely no flavor. A friend and I walked in without a reservation yesterday evening and were immediately greeted and seated. The restaurant was beautiful, spacious, and well decorated. We ordered the burrata as an appetizer to share and found it to be incredibly fresh and tasty. I ordered the gnocchi while my friend opted for the mezze rigatoni and a side of broccolini as our entrees. Both dishes were delicious and well-seasoned. We ended our meal with the chocolate and hazelnut cake that was one of the best things that I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The service at this restaurant was top notch. My water glass was constantly being refilled, plates were being cleared, and our server and other members of the team were checking in. I came in for dinner with my mother who was in town visiting, at the recommendation of my wife who was out of the area for the night. She had highly recommended Cece's based on a visit she had with her sister a few months back. We had a really nice meal, and found the menu offerings to be very interesting and enjoyable! They offer sizeable portions for appetizers which means you have many options to keep your bill reasonable but enjoy many different offerings. I had the Tuna Tartare (I was very torn between that and the Wagyu Tartare), and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and had a very good ratio of tuna to avocado. The Hearts of Palm were sliced and layered between the tuna and avocado, and added a nice crunch to the dish. For the main course, I tried the Short Rib Agnolotti and was so glad I did. Pasta dishes definitely are not my normal order, but this one was so delicious! The brasato sauce was so flavorful I could have licked my plate clean. Each piece of the stuffed pasta was so delicate and pillowy, it almost melted in my mouth. I would absolutely come back just for this dish. Our server was really efficient and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time, and made thoughtful recommendations that were definitely not just a "tip grab" for the more expensive stuff. Our meal began with the house focaccia -- with its well-balanced flavors including salt, olive oil, garlic, and cheese, it was hands down one of the best focaccias we have tasted. For our entrees, we decided to take the recommendation of our wonderful server and ordered the short rib agnolotti and the rotolo. The short rib was cooked to perfection -- tender, flavorful, wrapped in al dente pasta and served with a savory sauce. The Rotolo was a much bigger portion, definitely big enough for two, with delicious creamy Caciocavallo cheese. 5 stars for the food! And last but not least, the service. From the minute we walked in, the hostess and servers were warm and welcoming. Our hostess was incredibly attentive, and also gave us great recommendations! I was very surprised! We went for an anniversary dinner, and we didn't have a dish we didn't like. We started with some apps which included oysters, and the hummus, which came with so much bread (not complaining!) I got the chicken Milanese, and my partner got the branzino both were great! We also had a couple of drinks, the Manhattan and smoked old fashioned were really good and well balanced. We sat outside and the ambiance was really nice. There is a TV for a game if you're looking for that (not like a sports bar, but it's there if you want it). They also have an indoor and outdoor bar. We have dined at Cece's at least a dozen times. Several weeks ago they emailed me that they were having a special Easter buffet brunch. I'm not a huge fan of buffets but figured they would do a great job. I was wrong. To start off we arrived at out reservation time and the hostesses were disorganized with several groups standing around waiting to be seated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When they did get to us they said our table was outside under the awning. It was raining and windy so I declined that table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That led to much conversation amongst them. Keeping in mind the restaurant wasn't even half full at that point. We finally got seated but didn't get a table with our favorite server who was apparently only serving tables outside where nobody was seated. Our server, who we've had once before was useless. We had a table with him one other time and were not thrilled at all. The buffet itself was below average for even a moderately priced restaurant and certainly well off what you'd expect from a place like Cece's. Our visit prior to this was also lacking. It seems like they are slipping which is a shame. Until recently I would have listed Cece's at my favorite restaurant but no longer. I hope they get their act together. read more

My experience at this restaurant was a bit disappointing. I do not want to be harsh as they just opened and would love to give them another chance down the road. The atmosphere of the restaurant is upscale and sophisticated. The interior design was very well put together with gorgeous saddle brown booths, great ambient lighting, and a very open bar at the center. The service was very attentive and accommodating. Also our individual server was very knowledgeable and friendly. For food we split the meatballs, traditional pizza, and grilled octopus to start. The meatballs were mediocre at best and the pizza was lacking flavor, however, the crust had a nice crunch to it. For an entree I had the 12oz NY Strip which was served with hash brown logs as a side. The steak was cooked to the correct internal temperature but was not very warm. The flavor was not bad but nothing special. Overall, a bit disappointed in my first experience at Cece's but would be willing to give them another chance. I sat at the bar, where John Michael and Tim gave outstanding and detailed recommendations about cocktails and wine pairings. Even during the dinner rush, they were so attentive, and even the assistant manager Nauman came by the help or check on us throughout the evening. Lastly, the food. Oh my god, the food. The complimentary chili oil and Parmesan bread was phenomenal. The flavors of the Wagyu tartare and octopus were magical.
