So highly recommend this location. The rooms are large and expansive with room for you to spread out and be comfortable, fresh and free coffee and tea 24/7 and breakfast and parking included. The location is wonderful bc it's only 20 minutes from the West Glacier park entrance and tons of nearby hiking as well as the towns of Whitefish and Kalispell which have tons of shopping, dining, and adventure in winter and summer. It's also close to some things in the smaller town of Columbia where it is located like Montana Coffee Traders which you can actually just walk to from the hotel and Cowgirl coffee. There are also gas stations and other shops nearby if you need a few things. The gal at check-in was amazing and kind and had our room ready for us with my third floor request checked in despite our super late check-in (11pm) and they were always happy and greeted us kindly when we came and went. There is a small (2 washers and 2 dryers) laundry room on the 2nd floor where you can wash your clothes. They're old and only have like 2 settings but if your things are funky after long hikes like ours, it's a lifesaver. They sell detergent and dryer sheets in a pack for $2 at the lobby. Prices are extremely fair for this nearby location to the park and for the amenities provided and size of the room. Note: I took a star away bc we stayed four days and they absolutely refused to do a room refresh. At day two I asked to have towels and trash taken care of and was told that we could put the trash outside the room and they would leave fresh towels in a shopping bag by our door. What?! I've been traveling a lot and they're milking the COVID thing for all it is worth. 4 days in a hotel is a long time to have no cleaning whatsoever. I understand every other day, or upon request, but that was a bit much and I didn't like it. Hire the staff, go back to cleaning rooms. The lobby was nice, the front desk people were very nice The room was nice size with a place to relax and watch TV The bed was perfect, not too hard or soft. The bathroom was amazing Someone FINALLY got it right Toilet paper in the right spot . Didn't have to throw my back out teaching for it. The shower was nice size with everything you need right at your finger tips. Even the bath mat was great. No throwing a towel on the floor. All the small things you take for granted were addressed. Do not stay here. Extremely rude front desk clerks. No training whatsoever in basic customer service. Truly came in happy and excited to be in Montana and were met with passive aggressive attitudes from every clerk on several shifts. What a great place to stay. It's on the edge of Glacier National Park. The staff is Super Chill. They have a little Convenience Store in the lobby. They have a little gift shop too where they have one of a kind items. I E My new Sweatshirt. Which is the cutest best priced one I saw in Montana. Each morning you can go and have a hot Breakfast. Try served eggs, bacon and sausage. All kinds of other pastries, yogurt and the famous waffle making machine that kids young and old loved. Try had a juice machine and my husband whom is a Coffee snob said it was some of the best he ever had. It was made locally and made next door by Montana Coffee Traders. The lobby had tea, coffee and water 24 hours a day. Our room was huge. A king bed with a pull out sofa. It also had a small fridge and a microwave which I wish all hotel rooms had. I always bring home leftovers so it's nice to cool or reheat them. The pool area was small and the hot tub smaller. But super clean and super chrolinated . I'm think I'm allergic to hotel gyms who wants to work out on vacation? Ok if you do they have one there too. If you're staying long ask for a top floor room. Just one night we had people upstairs that were pretty noisy. Now here's the bad news? If you're going in the summer the hotel is sold out 3 years in advance and their rates go up a lot in the summer. So plan in advance because there are not many options on the West Entrance to Glacier National Park. Truly one of the most stunning places I have seen in the World. There are Deer everywhere and another warning they do not look both ways when they run into your car. They are big and it's hard on your heart too. We were stopped for a big herd of Elk at Dusk. A big Deer ran out of the forest and hit the side of our car. Luckily it wasn't the engine but still about $3,000 in damages. I guess that's the price of nature? read more

I was impressed by the selection of food and beverages, yet quantity definitely outweighed quality. Nothing about our stay was horrible nor was it so outstanding as to earn five stars. Since there were 3 people in our party, the hotel decided to charge me almost $14 per night extra for the 3rd person. Most other hotels I've been to allow 4 people to the room without any extra charge. The staff were nice and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located 20 minutes away from the Glacier West entrance. It's located right next to a church and Montana Coffee Traders. I highly recommend coming to Montana Coffee Traders for your coffee/snack needs. Only drawback is that they open at 7am. Their Downtown area is just right across the street. I can't really speak on their breakfast as we left prior to 6am to be able to avoid the crowds at Glacier NP. The hotel looks nice out the outside, but the rooms feel a little bit on the older side. It has been renovated, but I did wish the bathroom was expanded a little bit more. Opening the door almost hits the toilet so be careful. Overall, I would consider staying here again as it's convenient and felt safe. read more

This place was outstanding ! First time to Montana from Texas and to CC Lodge as well. Amenities are clean, staff is very friendly, food and beverages are hot and always well maintained consistently and all staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I.E. When I first checked into my room I noticed the heater/A/C filter appeared a little dirty. I made a request at the front desk to have it changed out. Then I ran into an exceptional Maintenance Supervisor at the front door and he immediately went to his supply room and grabbed a replacement filter and changed it out in like 3 minutes - talk about great customer service, for sure ! Lovely NEW lodge... I believe it was built in 2016... so less than 2 years old, and still looks and smells new. Located not far from the West entrance of Glacier National Park... it was less than a 30 minute drive to the park entrance. Also nearby was White Fish, Flathead Lake and Kalispell. It's not a super huge lodge, meaning you won't get lost. Only 3 floors so you can easily walk the stairs should you be traveling with a big group (like I was... there were 46 of us.) The rooms were spacious, and included a mini fridge and microwave! Great for storing and warming up leftovers. Beds were comfortable... not rock hard and not super soft or lumpy. The bathrooms were surprisingly roomy with plenty of counter space. While there was only 1 sink, 2 people could be in there.....one brushing teeth while another did hair/makeup or whatever. They provided ample amounts of soaps and lotions. No tiny, travel sized bottles here. They are full size, refillable bottles mounted to the wall of the bathroom and shower. The water pressure in the shower was strong and the water was hot. Be careful... I practically scalded myself because I wasn't paying attention. The noise level seemed good ... meaning you couldn't hear people in the hallway when your door was shut. Or maybe the people on my floor were just quiet. The breakfast they provided was akin to a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn breakfast. Hot dishes included scrambled eggs (which I thought were a tad too salty, but had good texture), sausage, bacon, sausage gravy you could pour over the biscuits, oatmeal with a few typical toppings such as raisins, sliced almonds, sugar and such. There was also waffles to be made if you so desire. The breakfast also included a cold section of cereals, fruit and breads and muffins. Overall, it was really nice to have a bit of something before heading out on our daily adventures, and not having to leave the lodge to hunt up coffee. In the afternoon/evening, they also put out cookies in their coffee/tea bar located in the lobby. Coffee and Tea was available all day long. Oh and hot cocoa packets too. They do have a small (and I stress SMALL) convenience store... let's call it a NOOK.... with a few snacks, drinks, essentials and gift items. My mom actually found and bought a travel sized Yahtzee game that was national park themed. Should you need a bigger store, there's a Smith's grocery store about a 1/2 mile away up on Nucleus. It's an easy walk... I know this because Mom and I ventured up there at 8pm to get some things. The folks working here are professional and kind. Their greetings were genuine and they looked at you when they spoke. Plus, whenever the coffee ran out... they were quick to remedy it. read more

We stayed here for an extended weekend trip to explore Glacier National Park. Location is great, a short 20 minute drive to West Glacier Entrance. Great village within one mile with restaurants, bars and grocery store. Staff is very friendly and professional. Outdoor parking is easy. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Large nice hotel in a good location to all of the Flathead Valley. First, you have to use the intercom to get into the hotel. In an area with less restrictions this place is still completely locked down. Once inside plenty of masks and distancing. Room was clean and large, definitely get the sofa room, so nice to have a place to sit and it faces the mountains of the park! Staff was friendly. Snacks downstairs were plentiful and they will just add to your room for you. breakfast was not a buffet but you go to the kitchen door and tell the woman what you want. You can get it to go to your room or wait in the small area for your food. Less than ideal but it's food. Toast jelly was 1 but wish we could have had more. You can walk across the parking lot to Montana Coffee traders and get a great meal/coffee which is one reason we stayed here. Check in and out was simple. Plenty of parking. I would give this 0 stars if I could. This hotel is listed on the glacier National park lodging website - so one would think that granted access to the park. But no. Beware, you need BOTH a park pass AND a timed ticket entry to the park. This was not made clear when I booked this hotel. We were planning to stay in Glacier Park for a couple of days- not realizing that we should have made reservations a year out! So I started looking nearby and got a great deal on a double queen room in this brand new facility. I was very pleased with how nice it looked when we drove up, and the public areas were western themed (not over the top) and comfortable. Free breakfast- nice spread with several hot dishes, pancakes or waffles, pastries and cereal. Great before getting on the road for a day at the park- about 20 minutes to the entry. The room was nice and we liked it, although I didn't care for the pillow top mattress which was hot to me. But I like sleeping on a hard mattress, and it wasn't preventing me from a good nights sleep! We used the pool both nights we were there-- my 14 yo loved it-- nice after hiking all day. There were several dining places within walking distance they recommended. We would definitely recommend this place, and while I had hoped to stay IN the park, I think we would choose to stay here again if we ever come back! read more

Rooms were ok decor was below average. This place has potential to be amazing but is not. You have to key into the hotel like they are located in a high crime area. A major pain particularly since front desk is not staffed all the time. Additionally, no coffee service in rooms and you have got ask front desk for coffee or tea. This is a PAIN when there is only one person at front desk (which seemed to be the case) and people are checking in or out. There was typically a line to get coffee. They should put coffee in lobby like other hotels. They do have a hot breakfast but the staff are very flustered and service is stressful. Will not stay again. Rooms are not serviced during stay. One last thing, the shower curtains - they really had to search to find something this cheap. read more

Simply outstanding. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and accommodating and helped our group get checked in mere minutes. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was superb as were the two ladies working to make sure everybody had everything they needed for breakfast...one of the ladies (must be someone's grandma) even very lovingly cut up a waffle for a very young guest. Probably my best ever overnight stay. As someone who travels frequently, this is saying something. I am forever a fan and will certainly stay here again when in up in this neck of the woods. This is a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They were also accommodating to our needs in a timely manner. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot. The towels were fluffy. There were no problems checking in or in the room. We did their continental breakfast 2 mornings. It's better than most hot continental breakfasts but it wasn't phenomenal. However, even the staff at breakfast was nice and they went out of their way to give us suggestions about what to do in the area and directions on how to get there. We requested a room on the top floor, which was confirmed during booking. When we arrived they said the only room available for us was on the second floor next the elevator, and view out the window of large white roof. We paid a premium of several hundred dollars per night, booked in advance with the hotel, to just be lied to and given the worst room they have. No apology from front end staff or any accommodations to try and make it right. Was told to except the worst room they have at a premium price or walk out the door. Very disappointing!!! If you like paying top price, for a mediocre room, with a view of a roof (no mountains), and staff that does not care, then this place is for you. read more

We stayed here when we visited Glacier National Park. The entire lodge is very clean and still looks new. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. There was coffee, tea and water in the lobby all day. The breakfast was great and the women who cooked and set up the breakfast were very friendly. They even let us grab breakfast very early when we were leaving at 5:45 and the breakfast room was not open yet. The drive to the West Glacier entrance at Glacier National Park is a very easy and short drive from the lodge. I would definitely stay here again. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We arrived Friday night and the lady at the front desk was amazing and friendly. We got up to our rooms and the beds and pillows were the most uncomfortable beds we've ever slept in. The second morning when we came downstairs the new attendant up front was extremely unfriendly and I came back after taking my son trick-or-treating to a locked front door that night. When I waved my key at the attendant, she motioned for me to pick up the outside phone. She said I had to leave and find a mask before she would let me in the building. Keep in mind this was 11pm and aside from her there was nobody around. They also locked the other entrance so nobody could use it, even with a pass card. I had to drive and find a mask to come back to the hotel room I'd paid for, to sleep in a room with terrible beds and nearly none of the usual amenities due to COVID. I wanted to give this location another try after a bad experience two years ago where they quoted me a price and then proceeded to charge me $50 a night more...they wouldn't even let me speak to a manager, they just asked me to leave. This will be the last time any of my family stays here, which is unfortunate because we frequent this area very often. Hotel is nicely situated (about 15minutes) to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. The hotel itself is well maintained. My #1 reason to ever return to this hotel would be because of one exceptional staff member by the name of Rachel. She was attending to the guest during the buffet breakfast that the hotel puts out to their guests at no extra charge. She was very helpful and informative on what sites to see. She had a very wide amount of information of the area and of our next destination which was a 9 hour drive south. It's was very much appreciated to see someone come up to us, inquire about our trip and give us as much information as they could provide to make our trip worth while. If you're staying at this hotel and are looking for a visitor information centre in town, don't bother, just ask for Rachel during breakfast and i'm sure you will get all the information you would need. read more
