This place was perfect. Close to west end of Glacier and near by towns and activities. Beautiful place and grounds. Breakfast was awesome everyday. The eggs came from the hens out back. Every morning we were given an explanation on what we were eating. Game room and full kitchen for guest to cook if they wanted to. We traveled from Jackson hole, Yellowstone and onto to Glacier. This is by far the best place we stayed. Owner Bill is very friendly and knowledgeable on the area. read more

This is easily one of the nicest stays we've ever had and definitely the best B&B we've ever seen. The bed was very comfortable and our room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was amazing and each day we had something unique and expertly prepared. The food was absolutely delicious and the coffee was great as well. The owner, Bill, is a fantastic guy and we loved being able to get to know him and learn more about how he ended up running a B&B. He also gave us excellent recommendations about hiking, restaurants, and breweries and we loved getting to meet him. This place is a gem and we would 100% stay here again in the future! read more

This place is AMAZING, you drive up to a 10 acre property with a beautiful view. The breakfast is hearty. The host was very accommodating to special dietary needs. The Bed and Breakfast has it all, fire pits, barbecue, a full kitchen for guests to use. Plus a great game room!! I wish we had more time there. I freaking loved this place! It is so spectacularly quaint, spacious and nestled in the mountains. My room had a direct view of the swan mountains and the views I woke up to were truly breathtaking. This place had everything- such warm hosts and staff who welcomed us to their Fourth of July celebrations, a beautiful game room, The best breakfasts so thoughtfully prepared by R and team, an honor code based inventory of regularly used items in case you forgot to pack. The best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at! It is close enough to Glacier to really be an excellent place to stay. The road leading up to it gives no hint how wonderful it is. They have first rate rooms, and a library with everything you could ever want to know about the park. Wifi worked great. The breakfast was creative and very accommodating of special dietary needs. My wife and I stayed at Bad Rock for 2 nights in mid-September. Everything was great! The room was clean and stylish, the hash brown casserole at breakfast was delightful, and the owners were very helpful and courteous. There is even a laundry machine on site. Cannot say enough great things about this place. It's extremely clean and well-kept. The rooms and patios are spacious and comfortable with incredible Mountain views. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They have and are willing to share everything you need to make your stay and experience comfortable - bear spray, hiking sticks, wine glasses, you name it. One of my favorite touches was the rooms full of books that operate as a library for guests. We will be back! read more

Beautiful property and well maintained. They have a game room, a library, TV room, and any loaner items you may need if you are going into Glacier National Park. The owner Bill is very friendly and accommodating. The co-owner Roz is very particular to put it in a nice way. for example, we let her know that we would be checking so we would need our breakfast to go in the morning. my husband and I sent her a reminder text that we would need it for the morning and she was very passive aggressive and tried to make us feel bad for not letting her know sooner. I felt that was pretty strange considering we let her know when we checked in that's what we would need and we also sent a reminder text. In my opinion, the professional thing to do even if you were irritated is to just accommodate your guest and keep your feelings to yourself. There were a couple other similar instances during our stay. Just a piece of advice if you plan to stay there make sure you understand her expectations of you because she will make it known that she doesn't like it when things do not go her way. Other than those experience it was a nice stay. read more

I cannot speak highly enough about this place. First, it is so beautiful and spacious! We had our own private cabin with brand new Casper beds!! The cabin was fully equipped with private back patio and small dining table inside. The owners are incredibly welcoming and generous. There was an on-site laundry- gaming room and library! Our family, unfortunately addicted to TV, was totally fine without for three nights. The owners offer a gourmet delicious breakfast with full beverages to choose from. Beyond that, proximity to the park was close and there were good restaurants a short drive away. Will definitely stay here again! read more

My husband and I planned a very last minute trip to Glacier late October. We knew pickings would be slim. We lucked out big time by finding Bad Rock. We found this place while traveling to see Glacier National Park and we are so pleased with our experience here. They offer a washer and dryer which was much needed with the 11 days of travel we had accumulated prior. The staff and owner were very welcoming and helpful with information about the park and the surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious! (savory bacon and cheddar waffles with cinnamon apples) We toured multiple rooms and all were extremely clean and updated with everything you could need. The recreation room was extensive and they even offer a small workout facility and pool table! We visited Bad Rock August 10-14 and had a fabulous time. The host Roz was super accommodating to our family. We have a son with celiac's and it was no problem to offer him gluten-free options. Besides the fact the food was amazing! We enjoyed the game room which had a full kitchen and pool table, shuffle board, darts, etc. Also had laundry which was so convenient. When we drove daily into Glacier National Park (only a short drive), the hosts provided us with bear spray and snacks and a cooler, etc. Things we did not bring along so really helpful! My boys aged 12 and 15 had a great time. And Roz's scones were to die for!!! I highly recommend this spot - absolutely beautiful. read more

A beautiful place to stay near the park. This place is pretty, clean and quiet. The rooms are very relaxing with their own bathrooms and entrances. The breakfast was delicious. They have a room with reading materials and a closet full of items to borrow when going into the park, like walking sticks, bear spray and rain gear. My husband and I stayed for six nights July 15-21 as base for the western half of our Glacier experience. We could not have been happier with lodging provided. Our room was nearly the size of an efficiency apartment--thoughtfully designed with a very spacious bathroom, laundry basket provided, a full second sink area outside the bathroom, lots of mirrors, ceiling fan (as well as AC), table with chairs, fridge/microwave/coffee, rocking chair, patio / chairs out back, and two lovely comfortable queen beds. Breakfasts were creative and pulled off at gourmet quality. If this were all it would have been outstanding, but two things set it apart beyond what we ever expected. So many resources were provided--hiking poles, backpacks, bear spray--to borrow out, and a large common room with pool table, air hockey, washer / dryer stocked with supplies--all for free! And the owner, Mark, went so far out of his way to provide information, whether through personal recommendations or through the voluminous compendium of fliers on restaurants, leisure activities, etc. he left in the room. This place is as good as advertised. Driving toward the location the last mile of our first entry we worried a little as we headed through a residential neighborhood. Nothing to fear--the B&B itself sits well off the road and so feels secluded, and the views out back are quite lovely with lots of birds, deer, etc. We found the location great as well--about 20 minutes from the Apgar entrance to Glacier but also convenient to Whitefish in the other direction, Flathead River activities, and Columbia Falls--where there are a number of astonishingly delicious options for dinner. If Mark & Co. still are running Badrock next time we go through, we'll definitely be back. read more
