There are much better breakfast spots than Cedar Park Cafe. It's a cool unassuming diner like place with decent prices. That's the positive. There's indoor seating and outdoor patio seating. Keep in mind that it can get very breezy outside because of how the patio is situated and there's no screens or barriers to protect-- especially when the sun moves, you'll be feeling it's beams. We wound up moving seats before our food came out because the sun showed up and made itself known! Service was not as good as I anticipated from the reviews that say great things about the service. The guy that served us was not very attentive, more on that later. We ordered the French toast and veggie omelette. Upon arrival the French toast was cold hard and dry. Basically inedible. Omelet was piping hot and very tasty. It came with hash browns and they were cooked as requested...crispy, so there wasn't any raw potatoes in the middle of a seared potato cake. Yay! Once we got our food, the server never came back to check on us until after we were finished eating. It was the first time we were able to tell him about the French toast. He seemed a bit unsure of how to handle the situation and said he'd get the manager. Only to return and place the digital payment t device down expecting us to pay for the meal before speaking to the manager. The device showed the full price for our meal. We told him we would wait for the manager to come by. Manager comes over and stands at the table with his arms crossed. His whole demeanor was a bit off putting. I shared that the French toast was cold and hard and we couldn't eat it. He then says to my friend, "And you?" She stated it was the same for her because we shared the omelet and French toast. He proceeded to tell us that with the wind, things cool down quickly outside. I told him that was not the case and it was cold when it came to the table. He said okay I'll take it off and he walked away. There was no apology or encouragement to return to have a better experience the next time. So we won't be returning. Cedar Park Cafe gets 2 stars because the lady that seated us was really nice and the omelette was great. Next time we'll go to Aleida's just a few doors down. They've always had great food and great service...and their patio is nicer too.

Little cafe located in a shopping center near lakeline mall. they have In and out door seating avaliable. Our server provided good service however nothing notable on that.- food was out fairly quick! The veggie has was good however the "hash" was wayyyyy undercooked almost seemed raw , nobody ever does eggs over medium right and that was another issue here too runny- whites barley even cooked on the inside! (medium to me is slightly runny with a gel-like inner yolk) . The veggie omelette was DELICIOUS! I would go back and order that again- or order the hash to go and take it home too cook the potatoes more as that's what I did with the left overs and it took the hash from a 5 to a 8.5! The pancake? also DELICIOUS! Perfect consitancy and great flavor- even without syrup! It was served with a decent serving of butter that was sweet and salty and really set the pancake over the top.

A nice little breakfast spot in Cedar Park. It has a lovely outdoor patio area as well for nicer days. It's a very standard place you're going to be offered all the usual dishes at fair prices. My one complaint is they do not have a baby changing table in any of the bathrooms and that's always a disappointment

My first time in and was very pleased. My server, Evan, was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the corned beef hash. It's not what I came in for, but I went with it and I am very glad I did. Very generous portion, I took about half of it home with me. I didn't take advantage of their specials, but will in the future, some good deals here. Nice interior and pleasant environment, I'll be back.

At the corner of Elm Street and Lakeline Boulevard, there is a new shopping plaza with multiple little stores. One of those is the cedar Park Café, which serves breakfast and lunch only. The first time I went there I noticed quite a few ex employees of 1431 café. I heard the cook was also a former 1431 Café employee, so I ordered up the French toast. The coffee is good there. I like that they serve their coffee with a little demitasse spoon. The French toast was very good basically two slices of a little thicker cut bread thoroughly dipped in the egg mixture. I like that they gave you the whole syrup container to pour on if you choose to rather than the 1 ounce plastic cups other places use. I also have tried their bacon and eggs with hashbrowns and their pancakes. I have no complaints on any of their food. And they are quick to bring in refills for your coffee. It doesn't seem to be that crowded so Service is pretty quick. Pricing is reasonable. I believe parking is going to be a problem once this starts getting crowded. One of these days, I'm gonna try it for lunch, but I haven't yet

We really enjoyed our late breakfast at Cedar Park Cafe. First time in. Our server was excellent and took fantastic care of us. The restaurant is spacious with lots of seating. We didn't have to wait at all. Our only thought for improvement was that our food (which was plentiful and we both had leftovers) needed a little more seasoning. We both added salt at the table and found that was the missing piece. Otherwise - a fantastic first visit. Can't wait for our second! I love a good home town find.

If you're looking for the breakfast equivalent of a warm hug from your grandma, minus the unsolicited questions about your love life, Cedar Park Cafe is the spot. The quaint dinner design is a decent vibe as you walk in. No frills, I ordered eggs over easy, two sausage patties, and a pancake, and let me tell you: those eggs were so perfectly over easy they could've ran away with your girl. The sausage patties were seasoned just right, savory, juicy, and not a single bite felt like regret. The pancake? Fluffier than most and topped with powedered sugar. The coffee was piping hot and came with free refills, which is a dangerous blessing that I constantly seek out. I left feeling like I could run a marathon, solve world peace, and alphabetize my garage all in the same afternoon. Service was quick, friendly, and not once did anyone call me "hon" in a sarcastic way. A+ all around. Highly recommend Cedar Park Cafe for anyone who loves breakfast, good service, and walking away happier, and more caffeinated, than when you walked in.

Bring a hefty appetite! Meat lovers skillet with over easy eggs and American cheese. Great one to share!

Ventured to CP to try this new breakfast cafe and was pleasantly surprised! Nela served us with a great smile and recommendations of what were some popular choices. We opted for the Country Breakfast and the Meat Lovers skillet which both em were generously portioned and perfectly cooked! (Way to go chef for over easy eggs) Definitely will be back to try the omelette crepes and the waffle.

The place is cute and local, and I love eating local, however the prices don't really match the quality of meal you're getting. I ordered their avocado toast plate and what came out was a singular piece of bread with mashed avocado on top, from what I could tell the avocado wasn't doctored at all, just mashed and I had to add the oil and salt and pepper to it. It also came with two scrambled eggs that I also had to do yet and weren't great all for a whopping $14. Far too much money for what I was given

My husband and I ordered two iced vanilla lattes with almond milk, and both drinks were difficult to drink. The espresso tasted very burnt and overly acidic, and one latte was especially watered down due to having very little ice. We ended up throwing both away, which was disappointing after spending around $15. As people who genuinely love coffee and enjoy supporting local cafes, we don't expect perfection, but we do expect some consistency and care in preparation. Hoping this was just an off day, because the space and reviews made us really want to love it.

I'm kicking myself that I've missed out on the last 5 years! So obviously this is my first time in. I walked in, not knowing what to expect. A lady behind the bar made eye contact with me, greeted me & said sit wherever you want. A lot of tables were taken. There were a couple open, But I'm solo, so I sat up at the bar. Another lady came over and started chatting with me like we were old friends, which I love. God Bless Texas! She was telling me everything is good, you're not going to be disappointed. Burgers are fabulous. And so on. Once she said waffles, I was in! She wondered off cleaning and helping other patrons. I looked over the menu, saw chicken and waffles. I was sold! A young man came over and asked if I had a drink in mind. I said yes. Mexican Coke. Would you believe I've never had Mexican Coke before. It's true. This was my first, right here at Texas Toast Breakfast and Burgers. Memories being made. To be honest, I don't drink soda much at all. I also said I was ready with my food order too. Chicken and waffles. He said good choice, it's a big Texas shaped waffle (love it) with a big piece of fried chicken. He put my order in and gave me my Coke in a bottle. No fountain type drink. Felt like an 80's Coke commercial with a real glass bottle. Feeling fancy. Since I'm solo, I put my ear phones in and listened to my own music. A little Lenny Kravitz, American Women, if you're interested in what I was listening to. My plate came out, and Oh ! My ! Word !!! Chicken & waffle big as my plate. I nearly cried, gasped, unbelievable! Seriously, this was a solid breakfast, and now I'm really bummed I've missed out for 5 years! I joined the clean plate club even though I was completely stuffed. Chicken was tender, juicy, hot and fried perfectly. Light crispy, not greasy. So, so good. The waffle was light & fluffy, but once I smeared the butter on it and soaked it with syrup, I put the chicken back on top of the waffle and cut away at both. Solid breakfast. Completely epic. Enjoyed every bite. Was in my own little world with my music and good food and an amazing Mexican soda. The service, way top notch. I felt like family. The young man that took my order, Alvaro M, totally chill with me, we talked a little about ourselves. And that I never knew this was here even though I drive by on 620 for work. Truly, great service. As a solo diner, it's nice to have human contact. Even though I had my ear phones in 1 ear, so I could still hear and interact. Had the best service, food, interaction. Couldn't have asked for a better first impression. Can't wait to come back. Parking lot is pretty large. So you shouldn't have a problem finding a place. This seems like an off the beat residential neighborhood with a lot of RV parks, and boat launching area. Like I said, hidden gem!

But hey, the outdoor seating is lovely, so problem solved! Here's where things get a little greasy--literally. First Watch proudly markets itself as a champion of fresh, whole ingredients and quality cooking. I've been a fan for exactly that reason. But on my most recent visit, something was... off. The food had this noticeably greasier quality, and I'm pretty confident they switched to a cheaper cooking oil (canola or similar vegetable oil, if I had to guess). For context: certain oils don't agree with me--they trigger migraines and general unwellness. And sure enough, within hours, I was both nauseous and nursing a headache. Not exactly the "fresh start" First Watch promises. Everything else was solid, but I can't give five stars when a restaurant's practice doesn't match its principles. If you're sensitive to oils or generally avoid the cheaper varieties, proceed with caution or ask about their current cooking oil before ordering anything fried or sautéed.
