Loved this spot in Fishtown! It's on a corner were like 6 streets all meet. They have a small patio outside, nice bar area with pub seating and a back restaurant area too. We stopped in on a Saturday for brunch at 1pm. We weren't sure what to expect bc they don't take reservations but got a table right away. The server was a nice guy. They have a couple options for vegans listed right on menu. Decent offering of cocktails and typical brunch fare. Food was all very good.

Nice neighborhood bar with some good food and drink specials, also a late night happy hour. Was here for quizzo and it was a fun time. The happy hour food list had a few different small plates to choose from. Had the chicken and waffle slider and it was tasty. Chicken was a bit dry between the waffles, but there was ample sauce drizzled over the slider. The elote street corn was decent enough as well. Mixed drinks were a good price, as well as the drafts. Other friends enjoyed their food and drink as well. Thanks

I love a bar with both great drinks and great food. The food is elevated for bar food. The decor is ok. The prices are great.

I visited Cedar Point Bar and Kitchen for happy hour and enjoyed the food and service. I felt everything was reasonably priced for the amount of food I got, and the staff was super sweet to me despite the after work rush. The HH menu had some unique items like a fried chicken waffle slider. The star of the show was the fried frog legs with honey glaze, but they were annoying to eat because of all the little bones. Cool thing to try if you've never eaten an amphibian. I had an issue with the fried coating on the chicken and frog legs. It flaked off whenever I bit into the meat, which bothered me because I needed to reattach it for the flavor. After all, the point of having the coating is so that it complements the meal. I probably won't be back, mostly because the experience didn't really wow me, but I would go again with friends who haven't tried frog legs before.

Casual place, decorated with a hideaway tavern kinda feel. A lot of plants everywhere. Cute outdoor patio. The service was good overall. The staff were friendly and our food came out at an appropriate time. The food overall was good - especially the fries!! The burger just needed something more... You have to pay extra for any toppings other than lettuce or tomato. Could've used other condiments with it, even a mustard. But otherwise was good.

Really good food and solid beer options at Cedar Point. They have a great outdoor patio, but we chose to eat inside because it was super hot out. We enjoyed the wings with Brussel sprouts and apricot horseradish cream. I almost always love wings, but I've never had them prepared this way - a unique, delicious twist! The red beans with eggs was also something I don't normally see on menus and really enjoyed. Will happily return when in the neighborhood!

My friend and I were hungry. Decided to stop in for some food. We sat down at the bar at 3:40. Bartender told us they close at 4 on Sundays. We asked if it was ok to order food and he assured us it was fine. We placed our order. I enjoyed the Buffalo cauliflower Caesar salad. It was very good! My friend has the green hash with scrambled eggs. She was pleased. We didn't feel rushed at all, which was good. I'd like to go again, earlier, we I have time to hang out a bit.

Huge bar, giant wall of liquor bottles, dim lighting, and a cool old-school vibe. I told the bartender that ordering a beer in a place like this felt like I was insulting him. He laughed and told me not to worry about it. The drink special was called "Naked and Famous," which honestly sounded like the perfect cocktail to order in honor of Jen. But then I spotted a dark beer on the menu that sounded too good to pass up. If you follow me, you know I'm slowly becoming a dark beer guy. I liked it a lot. The sandwich special was a cheesesteak. Sorry, I should've taken a picture of the menu. But I really enjoyed it, and for $18 it came with a mountain of seasoned fries, which feels like a bargain these days. Bomb Shell: the two people working absolutely crushed it. I don't know if they were understaffed or if Monday night got busier than expected, but they were working their tails off the entire time. Even with that, they stayed polite, friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating to the guy carrying around a mannequin. Great visit to Sassafras!

As soon as I walked in, they found us an open spot right up front. A cheery waiter took our order - the $8 burger sliders didn't come with any fries, but they were tiny and delicious. I love the idea that this place sponsors monthly science talks. Just a bunch of nerds all gathered here to listen to local experts talk about different topics. One week it might be about rare Galapagos birds to how to preserve fossils or the etymology of vampire lore.

Unlike others, we felt the portions were not too small. Overall a very respectable dinner showing from Almanac. I kind of regret ordering a pre fixed cocktail because his Omakase was so on point to what he asked for and was delicious. I love rhubarb and Gin is my usual spirt of choice, so I didn't want to pass up the Hanamachi Rikki, but while I found the tart rhubarb refreshing, it fell flat when placed next to the Omakase. While I enjoyed the music choices, he did not and it was also INCREDIBLY dark/moody which isn't our preference, but makes sense for the intimate vibe they are clearly going for.
