Came here 2 nights in a row while staying in Philly during Memorial Day weekend. The bartenders were so kind and friendly, the vibe was great, and the food and drinks were well priced! We tried the wings and they were crispy and the sauce was great. It wasn't too crowded either both times we went. Would definitely come back!

Came for happy hour and paid for parking in front of the restaurant. We were immediately seated and it wasn't crowed at all. The menu appeared limited but everything we ordered was great. The loaded fries w/chicken and fried chicken pieces with the sauce were very flavorful and tasty. The drinks were okay, someone ordered the spiced pineapple or mango Margherita and loved it.

Cozy Spot with Amazing Food and Beer!Prohibition Taproom is a favorite of mine! The French onion soup was rich and cheesy, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Their beer selection is fantastic, with something for every taste. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this spot--I'll definitely be back!

I've been here a couple of times since it's in the neighborhood close to me. I've had some great experiences and then had a not-the-best one the other night due to a heavy salt add-on with our food. I've had their beer selection, which usually includes a great sour. Also, the fish n'chips and tempura green beans are amazing. Service can be great some days, depending on who's working and the ambiance is the same. I've asked for music to be turned down on one occasion when my friends and I couldn't hear each other over the speaker near us, and no one would adjust it. So, best case is to level set that this is a typical bar and bar food and drinks. It's a nice quick stop if you want a drink and music vibes to boot. It's not the best quiet spot or for large groups. It's more of a Cheers in the area.

One of my favorite kind of places to frequent: no pretense - just great food, a stellar cocktail program, friendly bartenders, and genuine community vibes. I popped in after looking for a drink post-show at Philamoca. I buzzed over to that neon BAR sign like the fly I am and saddled up at the bar solo. After some deliberation, I went with an Aviation cocktail - gin forward with lemon and creme de violette. This did not disappoint. I was stuck between this option and the daiquiri they are serving up, and am looking forward to getting back and trying the bulk of this drink menu. Along with the food apparently?! Everything that walked passed me at the bar looked bomb, and judging from these reviews I will NOT be skipping the snackies next time. Cheers!

My bf and I returned the other day and was not disappointed at all. Very cute Halloween decorations with a bucket of free candy. The friendly service too which is a huge plus! We ordered the popcorn chicken again to share. This time I ordered the spring salad with smoked feta. It was very good and refreshing. I thought the autumn salad I mentioned in my first review tasted better and I am happy to report it is returning to the menu next week with a few additions!! My bf ordered the pro tap burger, which looked intimidating at first but cooked to perfection and had a lot of flavors going on. Do not skip out on this place! City wide specials, good food and great service!

writing this as I eat. wow. I ordered the mac and cheese and tempura green beans on door dash. the green beans were great, slightly soggy after a long drive which is to be expected. now the mac and cheese... wow. insane. the mac and cheese I am eating right now is better than most mac and cheeses I have had in my life. perfectly seasoned, a good crust without it being too dry all around, great cheese pull, not too oily, and huge portion. I am actually shocked at the quality of this mac and cheese. especially considering this was made probably 50 minutes ago and I am just eating this now. if there is one thing you take away from this, get the mac and cheese and savor every bite.

I've been here on a few occasions. The interior looks like a dive bar (maybe because that's what it is) but a dive bar with one of the best jukeboxes on the planet. Staff are always welcoming and attentive. On my most recent visit, I had the Pro Tap Burger. A double patty smash burger with Cooper sharp and more. A perfect burger. A bit of crust, very juicy, toasted bun. Fries hot and crispy. When you think how you would want a quality bar burger, this is what you'd think of. Highly recommended.

Does anyone know if they do bottomless mimosas? Trying to find some places in Philly. Suggestion are appreciated!

We do serve Mimosas (always with fresh squeezed orange juice!), but they are not bottomless. Hope you'll check us out soon anyway! Brunch is Saturday and Sunday, 11am until 4pm! And open at 11am for lunch Monday through Friday.

I'd heard the fish and chips were something special here, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. A generous piece of fish, fried beautifully -- not greasy at all -- that flaked perfectly with every bite. My niece doesn't eat fish, and even she took a bite and approved. High praise. But honestly? The star of the evening were the Madras Curry deviled eggs. Outstanding. Truly. And the dip with the perfectly toasted bread was equally impressive -- everything was prepared with real care. The drinks were lovely, and the atmosphere is in a category all its own. There is so much to look at. You could spend hours in there and still not catch everything on the walls. A quick note for first-time visitors: the restaurant has multiple entrances, and I initially arrived at the back door. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in directing me to the correct entrance. The space has a unique atmosphere. The indoor dining area felt quite dark, but the restaurant appears to have multiple levels, including an upstairs dining area and a bar, which adds to its charm. I started with a cocktail and really enjoyed it. It was fruity, well-balanced, and had just the right amount of alcohol without being overpowering. Based on recommendations, I ordered the burger. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype for me. It could have been cooked better, and overall I wasn't particularly impressed with it. What stood out most was the service. My server was attentive, friendly, and checked in regularly without being intrusive. Overall, The Dandelion offers a pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and great cocktails. I ordered the Thai Curry Mussels, and they were absolutely outstanding. The broth was packed with flavor, and the mussels were cooked perfectly. They easily rank in the top five mussel dishes I've ever had, and I've done my research! Pro tip: Don't make the rookie mistake of eating all the bread first.
