50% great service, 50% you feel like you are an inconvenience. This is an airport hotel so be prepared to hear the planes taking off throughout the night. I just spent a couple of days at the Cedarbrook Lodge. I had booked the hotel two days before my arrival. I had called ahead of time and spent a lengthy amount of time on the telephone explaining some special requirements in regards to my room due to health reasons. Reservations made a note in the account and I also brought it up again to confirm at check in. Notes were not made and even after speaking with the front desk before heading upstairs, the feathered pillows were not removed from the bed and the other linen allergy requirements that I was promised. I had called down to the front desk to speak with another receptionist (when you call here, you will almost always get someone new ALL the time, they are constantly changing workers it seems). A housekeeper had come to my room. She made me feel as if I was difficult asking for the non-feathered pillows for my room and the other room that I booked next door as well. A housekeeper had knocked and I thought it was someone I knew, and it was not. She rudely and raised her voice while telling me that I did not have a mask on, while I was standing in my room!!!! I was happy to go and find my mask but I was caught off guard because housekeeping had come 1.5 hours after I called to follow up. The hotel mentions on their website that they offer a pillow service with three different types of pillows for the comfort of their guests. When I called down, the front desk did not know anything about this service. I was told by the housekeeping individual that she may not have enough laundered non-feathered pillows. Concerning because the pillows should be laundered and to not have 8 laundered pillows with the amount of rooms is.....?????????? When I mentioned the pillow service that I saw on the website, she dismissed it and shrugged it off. The hotel Housekeeper brought the pillows - but I had asked for my bed to be re-made (front desk and housekeeping). She asked me why and I had told her how I saw a spot on the pillowcase and the fitted sheet. I also mentioned that I was allergic to the feathered pillows that were placed on the bed. I also mentioned that I did not want to get into my medical history but took the time to explain when I booked the reservation and again when I arrived. She refused to change my linens. It was unprofessional and very upsetting. The sheets were dirty! The very next morning I had hives all over my chest! I have photographs to document this. It seems they gave me a pet friendly room and I do not know why they would do this when I mentioned my allergies. Going out around the town: I had asked various staff while I was there if they could recommend a restaurant in the area. Not one person was able to recommend a place. It was very shocking. Also, unwilling to check. I wanted to visit the botanic gardens, and the front desk was not able to tell me anything about it. On one or two occasions, I would come across someone that truly knew the surrounding areas. The reality is: 50% of the time you will have 5 star kind service and 50% of the time you feel uncomfortable. It is the gemini of hotels. The servers at the restaurant are very kind. The food is limited due to COVID. I was told when I booked the hotel that they offered buffet breakfast. Due to COVID-19 this has been canceled. Please be sure to make note of this. They do have some breakfast sandwiches for purchase and granola. Sandwiches are already made and are put into a toaster oven to warm. I was told by a staff member that they were just getting by and seemed annoyed that we asked about the menu. He had replied that they are just serving food to survive. They place out apples and Starbucks Pike Place coffee complimentary. The coffee was a nice touch. They offer cups around the hotel so you can fill up with plain/citrus water. A really nice touch. Bathrooms: The bathrooms were modern. I was concerned to see that the vent was extremely dirty, filled with grey dust. Soaps are good but one recommendation is that in addition of an exfoliation body bar, rooms would be provided with a shower gel. Due to my allergies, I bring my own. I had the pleasure of visiting the spa gift shop downstairs and the manager of the SPA is such a kind, hospitable and down to earth person. I did not have a spa treatment but they did sell some jewelry, accessories, lotions and essential oils. The rooms were simple with a desk. I had asked for a room with a view and it was overlooking trailer homes next door. The property is lush and green - but small outdoor areas. Not too much walking on property. Overall, I think they may be suffering from the pandemic. Seems like a nice place to stay if you are in the area but do not go in with very high expectations based on the other reviews. read more

This is over due!!! But better late than never. This was a four stars pre-covid. But definitely a 5 stars for covid kinda place. First: I love their rooms, the property! The staff. It's a little hidden oasis's near hustle and bustle of SeaTac. And just so cool. Very tranquil. Love the rooms, meeting rooms, the wedding set up ( we got to watch a wedding setup and a ceremony happened during our stay) beautiful! And their everything else! Love! Love the they grow everything. Farm to table concept. Growing their own berries! The bees house! The syrup! The food! The food is just mind blowing. I've been here for a spa before. And came for amazing food and drinks. I gotta say, food and drinks were better! Better than a spa with drinks! Imagine that :) I got to taste both of their alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Crab fritters! Sliders! The salmon toast was to die for. All paired with amazing, beautiful herb filled cocktails! What's not to love. And last but not least, why I love this place! Their love for my only child: my fur baby Baci!!! It was amazing! We travel a lot and I take him to a lot of different hotels. Our favorite hotel is four seasons Whistler for their amazing pet love/pet friendly policies! But this might be up there too. They were just so sweet to my baby!! I'm currently enjoying my gorgeous room at Cedarbrook Lodge. On the third floor, my view gives me a vibe like I'm staying in a bird nest. The trees outside my window are gorgeous! The restaurant is incredible, great food and I'm especially fond of the helpful bar manager! The front desk staff, hostesses at the restaurant and the housekeeping staff I have met or ran into have all been super kind! The trail behind the hotel is such a peaceful, serene walk for this desert girl. I have gone through it a half dozen times. I have two more nights here. There's nothing I'm not enjoying or feeling like I overpaid. I wish the spa wasn't as pricey... the cost of a massage seems out of reach for most. Otherwise, all is perfect in this little neck of the woods! I will be back! read more

Super nice hotel located close to SEATAC but in a residential area, weirdly enough. The bed was soo comfortable and the pillows were plush and full! Blackout shades were legit as well and the room was really clean, not even soap scum or water spots on the tub like most hotels unfortunately have. The tub was outdated but so huge! The water to the shower needs to be hotter because I couldn't even fill the tub up half way before it started to get cool. The room had a fridge that didn't seem to get too cold, no freezer slot but the living room area in the hallway area has a full size fridge full of mini ice creams, yogurt, string cheese for you to grab as you please. No bottled water anywhere on the property which was inconvenient but they did have an awesome water machine that had sparkling, still, and hot water but you have to go to the shared area to get water. They should provide 2 water bottles in every room but I get they're trying to be eco friendly. The housekeeping staff kept going in and out of the utility closet before 8am, slamming doors, which was unpleasant when you want to sleep in. There are no food options nearby as far as walking goes but there are options a couple mins away and the hotel restaurant is nice but definitely pricey and limited. The staff at the restaurant and in the hotel lobby were so friendly and attentive. Overall a super nice experience and I would stay again! read more

Beautiful property, very well maintained. Driving into Cedarbrook you're transported into another world. You thought you were in Seatac, but you feel like you're far far away. The lobby has a majestic lodge feel, with a cute gift shop area, and a staircase going down to the restaurant, bar and outdoor pond beyond. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We stayed three nights and enjoyed all aspects, except one.... the bed. Caveat: I'm super picky, but the beds were too soft, and I felt like I was rolling to the middle. Also, I didn't care for the pillows, and to be honest I had expected a better overnight experience. They did have quality linens and thick duvets though. We were there during Covid, so kept to ourselves, dined outside once but mostly brought food in. We were able to get snacks & water from the front desk and a refrigerator to accommodate our needs. Overall, I enjoyed our stay. Just wished the bed bumped it to a 5 star stay! read more

Cedarbrook Lodge is a welcome oasis even though it is located hard by the SeaTac airport (about 2 miles). We recently had the pleasure of a one night visit that, sadly, did not include any spa time. Service was excellent including the front desk, valet, the bar, and restaurant service. We arrived early and made a great decision to have lunch at their restaurant. Service and food quality is 5 star. According to their menu, most if not all of their ingredients are locally sourced. My steak salad was wonderful and fulfilling. Others ordered fish and chips and sandwiches and a hearty thumbs-up was given by all. One nit they are sure darn proud of their wine. I know wine is marked up heavily but this was over the top. We also had lounge access that featured a TV, comfy chairs and plenty of snacks. Our breakfast buffet the following AM exceeded expectations. There is a happy hour drink and food menu that features some lite and heavy bites along with some interesting local beer options. The grounds are beautiful and I'm sure in the summer when everything is in full bloom it looks great. There is a large spa, a well-equipped gym, and jacuzzi. Our room was spacious and comfortable. My only nit was the sliding bathroom door that would not close all the way. Cedarbrook is a great alternative if you need to stay close to the airport and want to avoid the usual big brand hotels. read more

I stayed for 1 night with my partner as a quick local getaway. I have to say the airplane noise took away from the peacefulness of the property. The only real problem I had was that I left a pair of gold hoops in the room after we left, I knew exactly where I left them but of course housekeeping didn't find anything. Pretty peeved but not surprised the housekeeping staff weren't more honest. If I was travelling or needed a hotel by the airport, this would be perfect. read more

My husband and I chose this venue for our wedding this past week. We had a really great experience at Cedarbrook. Ashley Milan at the front desk was amazing! She went out of her way to make sure that our stay was exceptional! She upgraded us to the most perfect suite for our wedding and took care of the parking fee. These little things are what made Cedarbrook stand out for us. She absolutely went above and beyond! Thank you, Ashley! I took one star off the review since the restaurant was really hard to get into on Wednesday night. Apparently, they didn't have enough servers, so they couldn't seat our party of 6. Given that there are no other restaurants within walking distance, this was a huge issue for us. For $300 a night, I also wish that they would include breakfast during the weekdays. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay! I also appreciated the malt balls, yogurt, and ice cream snacks :). read more

After the incident with Alaska Flight 1282 that grounded our flight was complete mayhem for my family trying to get home. We stayed at Cedarbrook Lodge to relax before heading out on our trip and left my car in extended (park & fly) parking. When our flight home fell through I called for an extension and Shawnette in reservations (I am sorry if I spelled your name wrong) and TJ at the front desk were sympathetic and caring and told me not to worry about it they will make sure the car is fine and to just get home safely. We joked about what a mess everything was and they genuinely seemed to just care that we made it back ok and that we shouldn't have to worry about them an our parking situation. I want to be clear on this. We had 2 flights canceled, another delayed which made us miss our connecting flight and we got stuck waiting for standby for 10 hours at the airport. 4 extra days in total to get home. We had to to a lot to accommodate for all of this and talk to a lot of people, and only Shawnette showed actual caring and compassion in addition to their assistance. Plenty of people were nice enough, but Shawnette was actually engaged and spoke to me like she knew us and actually cared that we just get home safe. (I didn't speak directly to TJ, but he was involved in helping us as well) Aside from that, our original stay was clean, comfortable and like an oasis in the mess that is airline travel. This was my first stay and I was concerned it would be a bit too stuffy for my tastes, but it was quite homey and very much felt like it was designed to be a home-away-from-home sanctuary. A sort of reset before the trip. They had free snacks in a common living room type area with coffee and hot cocoa, which is also extremely nice to have when your busy rushing around to make sure you're all ready for your trip. Not to mention the free shuttle too and from the airport. Every person I spoke too was kind and helpful. And the nice kind of nice. Not the sing-songy "I have to be nice" type, but actually nice because they are kind people. It feels like Cedarbrook has a great hiring manager as well. Not only am I going to book Cedarbrook Lodge on departure for every trip in the future, but I am also going to book our return as well, so we can reset and relax before the final leg of the journey home. I have never posted a review for anything before. But I am so grateful for what Cedarbrook Lodge offered our family that I just had to. We love the Cedarbrook Lodge. They are consistently amazing! We have stayed at the Cedarbrook Lodge approximately four times in the past few years- the last time being on 1/2/2020. We usually stay here the night before I have a dog to pick up from the Sea-tac airport from Korea. The dogs have been rescued from the dog meat trade and come hungry and exhausted after a long flight. Cedarbrook Lodge is a very welcoming and dog friendly property. We have stayed here with a dog on one of our visits, and had a very positive experience. The grounds are beautiful with a lot of grass, landscaping, wetlands, ponds, and woods. They have so much green property that it really is hard to believe it is just minutes away from such a large airport and so much concrete! Some of the things we LOVE about this property: 1. The staff are incredibly friendly. It starts at the front desk each time. 2. The property and rooms are very quiet. 3. The exercise room is really fun with great equipment! For example, exercise bikes you ride where you are riding in a video and your entire bike shifts as you turn! 4. In the Spa you can make two complimentary bath salt bags with scented herbs (for baths) per person! The last time we were there some of the herb scents included rose and peppermint. It was really fun to make these with my teen daughter. 5. There is a complimentary breakfast each morning that is really good. We were there during the week and it was 6:30 am to 9:30 am. Weekends are currently 7:00 am to 10:30 am. There is a wide assortment of hot foods and things to choose from. The coffee and food are both delicious! It's a complimentary breakfast that is actually worth getting up for! 6. There are living room type lounges near the rooms that are open 24 hours a day. They have televisions, board games, and couches. They also are stocked with snacks including things like fabulous malt balls, bags of potato chips, string cheese, yogurt, Haagen-dazs ice cream cups, fruit, etc. My daughter loves this! 7. The rooms and property are very clean. I always see employees constantly walking around cleaning. The beds are very comfortable. 8. During our last stay we ordered room service and it was very good. We have eaten in the past at the bar, and that was good too. There's really only one thing I don't like. There is a charge for parking which is disappointing, but standard for this area. To park your car yourself it is $20.00. What stands out the most to me about the Cedarbrook Lodge after repeated visits, is how nice and kind the employees are. They have always been so genuinely kind and caring! To give you an example, in May 2018 when my dog Ace came from Korea there were some issues with his flight and he had been in a crate for many hours with a long drive home still ahead of him. Prior to picking him up from the airport, I made a special request early in the morning asking if I could get two chicken breasts cooked & cut up special in a zip lock bag for him. I will never forget that when they heard poor little Ace's story of horrible abuse and being saved, they refused to take payment for the chicken! They just wished Ace a happy life! That is the type of place the Cedarbrook Lodge is. We have never been disappointed with the Cedarbrook Lodge. Customer service is a priority to them and it always shows. We will continue to come back anytime we are in the area and they will always have our business. Great room obtained from priceline. Can't believe this place is behind the Doubletree inland surrounded by woods! Bathroom was outstanding and the tub was huge! My six foot husband said he felt like a child in the tub. You get yogurt and ice cream free in the lounge. You can store your leftovers in the lounge fridge. The buckwheat pillows were awesome. Exceptional property. I attended a conference here for 2 days and was lucky enough to stay at this gorgeous hotel. I had a king room that looked out to the garden. The rooms are average sized but very comfy with luxury bedding and bathrobes. I had breakfast lunch and dinner here and every meal was excellent. All of the staff I encountered were smiling and happy to offer any assistance. Complimentary snacks in the common living area include chips, chocolates and haagen daz ice cream. What a gem of a property so close to SeaTac! Who knew it wasn't all dumpy motels. The service checking in was great, super friendly and helpful so we didn't get lost on the large grounds. The room was very pretty with a decent view of some wetlands. Clean and then some...a must for me. We hit up the bar for happy hour and some snacks and the service wasn't amazing but the drinks were good and the little slider was supper yummy. It was expensive though....that's the major downside. All in all if you're looking for a nice spot to sleep in the sea tac area you're not going to do any better than this. read more

Beautiful property. The rooms are clean and have nice views. There are common areas stocked with ice and snacks. There are no fridges in the rooms. When we checked in, we weren't told about this and we hunted all over for ice!! We went to the hot tub but there were no towels. We called and waited but nobody ever brought any!! There's a convenient shuttle to SeaTac. Great Hotel, but the service could be much better. And avoid the restaurant, it's over priced and the food and the service are below average at best. read more

Wow....fabulous venue! A secret spot close tothe Seattle Airport. What a jewel. The rooms feel like your in the forest not just a few miles firm downtown Seattle. The food on the restaurant is unbelievable great. Duncan and Micheal in the bar are over the top fabulous. So knowledge in all forms of liquors. We live on Maui and have frequented several 5 star restaurants and The Cedarbook restaurant would rival any of them. This place is wonderful. They were helpful and kind. Our kids came to visit, and we had dinner here a couple of evenings - food is delicious. Staff is great, accommodating and safe. This is truly a hidden gem. I had no idea this place would exist in Sea-Tac. With Sea-Tac becoming more industrial and it's International airport right down the street, it does not stop visitors coming to Cedarbrook for quick getaway. Once on the premise you cannot hear cars or the planes taking off from the outside. Cedarbrook Lodge offers a range of hospitality. From wining and dining at the bar, restaurant or outside seating, to having a spa treatment. The upstairs has a gift shop, guest rooms, and meeting rooms where you can hold business conferences, banquets and weddings. Downstairs is divided by 4 sections. When you walk down, the spa is to your left. Then moving clockwise, there's the bar, then seating in the middle where you can eat or sit and chat and finally to the right, there's a seating area where continental breakfast is served. To the outside, there's a pond, outside seating where you can also eat, chef's garden, lots of flowers, and insectary where the bees are busy making honey. The spa offers different relaxation treatments from integrated massages, petrified wood and stone massage, mother-to-be massage, farmaesthetics herbal facial, glacial facial, whispering pine body polish, mud wrap, sea salt exfoliation and rain water remedy to field and forest manicure/ pedicure and forest foot refresher. read more

My 2nd stay here, in between apartments, all during covid. The dining room and outdoor areas are beautiful, and were busier this time. The resort is a bit of an oasis in the airport area. The grounds are really lovely and well-maintained. The 1st room they put me in this time left me cold for some reason. Might sound weird but I felt like something bad had happened in there. Plus, the Alaska Airlines flight staff stay in that building (Alderwood) and woke me up at 4 am, then 5 am, then 6 am... The missing star, though, is because there was an unmasked group of people hanging out in the living room area of the other building (my 2nd night). They didn't really seem like guests, and acted weird every time I walked by--totally staring at me. I was surprised that Security had not said anything to them over the many hours they were there (the LR areas are supposed to be off limits for any such hanging out--plus, no masks). Because when I went to get water, Security person was upstairs and called out, "can I help you with something, miss?" Drinks are very expensive here. Food is decent--not an exciting menu, perhaps due to the pandemic. As a former server, I'd say the service is average. My server at dinner (I was by myself) seemed like was in a big hurry. The women at the bar have always been great. The male bartender was very unfriendly/snappish to me last time (a few months ago); he is still there, and didn't acknowledge me, so I went to the end of the bar. From my experience in the industry, it's usually management that sets the tone. So I think perhaps staff are under pressure to look/seem rushed and not take their time. I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The pros are endless. It's super close to the airport. The room was comfortable and a good size w/ gorgeous wood trimmings. There is a restaurant inside the hotel with pretty good food. Breakfast buffet is included which was better than most hotels with actual healthy options. There was a refrigerator in the lobby which was fully stocked w/ water, yogurt, and ice cream! Beautiful scenic views out the large glass window. We stayed here for three nights last week and wow, it's unreal that this is a hotel located a convenient 10 minutes from the airport. You can book this place on hoteltonight or hotels.com but we actually just booked through their website and chose the green discount (meaning we didn't get our towels or sheets changed during our short stay) and we got a better discount than either of those other sites offered. The entire hotel grounds are enchanting. With beautiful landscaping, trees with twinkle lights, and little ponds, you feel like just parking your car is a magical experience. The lobby is decorated in a modern lodge theme and while checking in you can look down on the first floor at the cozy fireplace with seating, restaurant, bar and lounge, and the spa and gift shop. The rooms are in separate buildings all circling around an outdoor seating area with a little pond and an abundance of twinkling lights. The buildings all have a common area with a flat screen tv, comfy couches, a fireplace, and ... A snack horde! Fridge is stocked with cool water, yogurt and string cheese. The counter has a constant supply of different potato chips, fruits, and chocolate covered candies. If that's not enough to dazzle you, pull out the freezer drawer and try not to drool all over the mini Haagen Dazs ice creams. Well I'm already sold and we haven't even gotten to the room yet. The rooms are quite large with a big bathroom and tub complete with bath salts. The large window at the far end had a view of the parking lot, but with all the large trees on the property and right outside our window, it didn't dampen our view one bit. The bed was extra comfy with great pillows. Easy to control thermostat and my very own coffee nook complete with a personal Keurig and k- cups. They also have complimentary wifi which worked well. The gym is spacious with plenty of new and clean equipment. The hot tub was right outside and perfect for a rainy Washington afternoon. We didn't use the spa services, but prices seemed pretty standard for hotel spas, and bonus- they have a complimentary make your own bath salts bar! That was super fun. The complimentary breakfast was very nice with eggs, bacon, salmon, and salami. Bagels and muffins, yogurt and fruit, parfait. A selection of juices, coffee, and teas were also available. Only stayed here because I had Orbitz credit and the hotel included a free shuttle to the airport. We literally checked in after 10 p.m. and took the first shuttle out at 4:30 a.m. ALMOST missed our flight as security through the airport was horrendous! The few issues I have began with confusion finding our room. We drove around back twice but it didn't feel quite like the map. Our room was on the second floor via one entrance and the first floor via another. I still couldn't explain which we actually were on! Seemed like we rolled our luggage and stroller around the entire property the next morning trying to find our way back to the lobby! Pillows were too puffy to actually lay your head on. I saw somewhere that they have some sort of service to request a pillow type but ain't nobody got time for that! Hotel is clean, and loved the freebies! Ice cream, chips, yogurt.... wish we had more time to actually enjoy the perks to the place! read more

Restaurant manager reached out and asked about our experience, stated he would send us a gift certificate to give the restaurant another chance. No gift certificate has been seen yet. But I'm hearing that I'm not the only one that might be experiencing such a horrible visit. Looks like it could be the same waitress they were describing. I am happy to hear that this person had a different waitress and was satisfied with their va I'll post more as they come in. **Update... we went back to Cedarbrook, but went into the bar. I will say, bar staff is 5stars!! But my favorite bartender was on vacation, but we do plan to return so I hope he will be back behind the bar then! He makes the most amazing blackberry lemon drops! Lovely grounds , nice perks like free ice cream yogurt and snacks. However the shower/tub was disappointing. No water pressure and ran out of hot water. Front desk gave us a nice "accommodation" I don't know if they have accessible rooms..if you have any problem swinging legs into a very deep tub to shower..then ask if they have rooms with an easy access shower. read more

Wow. This is a review for the bar, by the way. I came here a few years ago and the bar staff was attentive, the food tasty. Tonight we sat in the bar, although when we arrived we were told there was a wait list for the bar tables, so we purchased drinks and waited, only to watch people walk up and sit at an open table. Upon asking again, we were told seating at the bar was indeed open. We sat with our drinks and ordered and the food came quickly, but we were never offered water, never given plates for our shared meal, never checked on once, and therefore never offered another drink. Food was ok although our medium burger was rare. When we stood up to leave the bartender brought our check, but never once apologized for being inattentive. Such a bummer; my husband had never been here and will never go again. read more

This place is a hidden gem! Lovely grounds, beautiful amenities, great cocktails, great food. Once you enter it's hard to remember you are so close to the airport. The bar and restaurant is ideal for a relaxing happy hour outdoors when the sun is out. The included breakfast is hearty and quality food to get your day started. The room was very clean and comfortable with a tub and bath salt I had to take advantage of. There is a public living room with snacks, waters and a TV. There's very short trails to explore for a quick walk for fresh air. I never wanted to leave this place. read more

The negative outweighs the positive. I am happy that this is a pet friendly hotel, they also provide a pet bed which my dog enjoyed. However, the way the prices are listed aren't the same if you pay on the website. I was pretty surprised by the bill. For starters the parking is $20 a night but they individually tax that as a separate charge so it's actually $22 a night. The room was dirty, especially in a time like this where it's important to be clean and remove bacteria. I was not happy. The sheets were dirty, the comforter was ripped. We ordered new towels and there was previous persons hair in the towel. That's disgusting. I'm not sure how this is rated 4 stars. It's more like 3 or less especially since the view of the outdoors is to a trailer park. The carpet in the entry way is so worn down you can see the fibers underneath the carpet. They also don't have the snack bar or food for breakfast but food for purchase. Which it's better just to go to Starbucks because it was be more cost effective. Furthermore, I called right when I made the reservation to see how they are keeping the hotel clean. Like most establishments online states they are wearing masks and gloves. I noticed the individuals in the front wore masks. However, there was a employee pulling her mask down and also sometimes not wearing gloves. Since we're not really sure who washes their hands I feel like it's better if everyone wore their masks and gloves while at work. This was my biggest concern, the cleanliness of the hotel. In addition, I did notify the staff of the dirty sheets and blanket. The house keeping staff was incredibly rude, when I told her what I needed she brought me a thin blanket then a sheet. And she threw the dog bed past me through the door when I was asking for new items. She honestly seem like she didn't want to be at work. I'm not really sure of the safety of the hotel, there was individuals getting arrested while I was here. That's also a red flag. I would continuously check on my car. For me, personally I would not book a room here again. But at least my dogs were comfortable but my dogs can be comfortable wherever I'm at. read more

This place is a PNW hidden DREAM. I visited Cedarbrook Lodge about a year ago when I was helping run a Yelp event, but today was my first time visiting as a true guest. The grounds of Cedarbrook Lodge are beautiful. Lots of magnolia trees in the spring, which really brighten everything up. There's tons of ponds around with small waterfalls, so that you're not ever far from the sound of rushing water. The inside of Cedarbrook is just as beautiful! Just the whole feel of this place screams Washington, and I love it. I only went to the spa, I haven't had the luxury of staying here in a room just yet. The spa lounge is super comfy, warm, and welcoming. Complete with a fireplace and lounge chairs! Disclaimer: I had a PRENATAL massage, so take that into account! I've had one other prenatal massage which was side laying and with this one, I was able to lay on my stomach because they had a special pillow with a space for my stomach. This was WAY more comfortable to me than a side laying massage. Christine (or Christy...) was my massage therapist. She was absolutely amazing! We talked a little bit at the beginning but it truly was a relaxing experience for me, and we were quiet most of the time. I almost dozed off a few times, I was sooo relaxed. The pressure in the massage was perfect and she was able to work out some pretty tight muscles that I've been dealing with and I left feeling refreshed AND ready for a nap... Not sure how that works, but that's what happened. I'll be back for another massage for sure - I definitely want to try and stay in one of their rooms in the near future to get the FULL experience of all Cedarbrook has to offer! read more

What a great lodge, located next to the airport. When you arrive, you pretty much feel like you have left the city and are now in the country. This is truly a hidden gem located 15 minutes from the Seatac. The rooms are modern and comfortable with gorgeous views. Our view was a flowering tree with beautiful pink flowers. The grounds are rolling hills with grass, a couple koi ponds and lots of trees. In each wing of the hotel, they have a family room with a TV and a refrigerator filled with snacks and drinks. Their onsite restaurant is filled with amazing choices and specialty prepared food. All the staff is friendly and welcoming and go over and beyond to make your visit fantastic. Very cozy and relaxing place to stay. read more

This is a wonderful spot just a couple of miles from SeaTac airport. You can hear planes overhead from the outdoor areas but otherwise it feels like a world apart. The grounds are beautiful with short walking paths, ponds and open areas. The spa was lovely, the rooms soundproof and comfortable. There is a great common space on each floor of the guest room areas with seating, televisions and stocked with drinks and snacks, water, yogurt, string cheese, granola, milk chocolate malt balls. I stayed here January 6th for our company party ,the rooms are comfy and very nice employees,but I was thrown off when at 9 am the next morning I was coming out of the shower to have the house keeping in my room ,I know check out was at 11 or noon ! Let me start off by stating that the actual hotel itself is quite lovely. And the grounds are remarkable indeed. Come visit this place during late spring or summer time and the exterior is really something special. Ive usually had a good experience with this hotel, however unfortunately things have changed with regards to the level of customer care. Im not sure exactly the reason behind this change but i must say it is really having a big impact on my interest in continuing to stay here. I was intercepted immediately after i pulled into the parking lot by some vehicle with the name of the cedarbrooke lodge restaurant on it, and i hadnt even locked my vehicle yet before the driver of the vehicle began to interrogate me with question after question. What was i doing here? What room was i going to? How was already inside the room? And how long would i be here? Then this person tried to tell me that i could not even enter the hotel because all the doors were locked and i needed a key. (Ive stayed here many times, and visited with friends who have also stayed here and never have the main entrances to the hotel been locked requiring a key. I asked why was i being treated this way and was given no explanation. I must say i do not appreciate being treated like some sort of criminal. Its extremely uncomfortable and i would much rather stay at the doubletree next door where at least i can feel comfortable. I even called the front desk and didnt get much of anything as far as an explanation for this inconsistent behavior from the staff. Unfortunately im left to wonder if staying at the cedarbrooke lodge is worth the price now that i know what the future holds. Very unfortunate and unacceptable. read more
