Imagine this. You leave New York after a long 12 days. Your Russian blue cat keeps escaping and needs you home. And You're full of bagels and fatigue. Your flight is so delayed that you end up missing your connecting flight in Seattle by 3 minutes. It's 10 pm. You're crying. You ask Alaska airlines for another flight. It's not until 9:45am. You ask for a hotel. They tell you "no". You threaten to unalive yourself. They give you a hotel. The Doubletree by Hilton. You take the shuttle and check in. Your breath stinks, you're tired, your eyes are puffy and red and a bit crusty too. The front desk agent is a Filipina with kind eyes. She gives you a warm chocolate chip oat and walnut cookie that you shove greedily in your mouth. It's delicious. She gives you a second cookie, a toothbrush, toothpaste and a room key. The room is next to Valerie, who you trauma bonded with at the Alaska airlines customer service counter. The room is clean, there's a large tv and desk. The furniture looks a bit older and wooden. The A/C is set to a pleasant temperature. There's a built in phone charger on the bedside table. You shower, and the water is warm and the pressure is strong. You no longer stink. Your breadth is minty. You crawl into bed. The bed is comfortable. You sleep like a dead rat. It's glorious. Look, the airport Hilton doubletree isn't the fanciest of accommodations, but a warm cookie, a sympathetic front desk agent and a toothbrush goes a long way when you're having a hard time. read more

Warning!! This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. The property feels outdated throughout the décor hasn't been refreshed in years, and it shows. To make it worse, the room had no AC and no windows that opened, so there was no way to get fresh air or cool down. Customer service was a bigger issue. Staff seemed indifferent at best, and basic requests went unaddressed or were handled with a level of rudeness I wasn't expecting from a Hilton property. The shuttle service was the low point. It was scheduled to run every 20 minutes but was more like every 45, and drivers were consistently late and openly rude to guests easily the worst shuttle experience I've had at any hotel in Washington state. At one point, the driver left passengers stranded at the airport, forcing me to take an Uber to the hotel instead. When I arrived, I saw that same driver standing on the steps chatting with another driver no sense of urgency or care for the guests who'd been left waiting. I'm actually surprised that I have never reviewed this hotel since I've stayed here a lot of times. This hotel is super convenient to Seatac - you could literally walk there if you wanted to. But no need since they have shuttles that run about every 20 minutes to the airport. Also, you can grab the light rail from the airport, which means you can head into downtown Seattle for a measly $3, way cheaper than any other type of transportation. I do like the buffet breakfast a lot, higher quality than some of its peers. They usually have some interesting meats and cheeses, and will make an omelet with bespoke ingredients as part of the buffet. However, sometimes service can be a bit hit or miss. The last time I was there in April 2026, my waitress seemed like she was out of it and charged me the wrong price. I did manage to get it cleared up, but it was frustrating. This hotel has really nice conference rooms and function space. I also think overall the staff is pretty nice. Usually, some of the elevators are not working, which is frustrating. And I wish they had valet parking because it's almost impossible to get a parking space here if there is a convention going on! read more

This place is a Doubletree so warm yummy cookies await you at arrival. I stayed here one night in October 2025. Loved the cookies and they were happy to provide them. That was a highlight. They also provided hot apple cider in the lobby in the morning which was a treat. The pros: the gardens and views from the tower rooms were beautiful and even though you are right next to the airport - the hotel has a lot of charm and beauty. My mother is a Hilton honors member so we were given an upgraded top floor view in the tower. The views of the hills and the elevator ride was a lot of fun. We loved how peaceful and serene it was. The cons: this hotel is massive in size. It's almost like having two hotels in one. The tower in the back is grand and fun, but the other side has two gigantic wings of the hotel too. The pool is only outside so after the summer it's not really usable. I walked the hotel to see the artwork and fun wood carvings. I also checked out the gyms. One gym smelled very bad and the other was very hidden and run down. I noticed trash in certain sitting areas and lobby spots. The rooms needed some attention and upgrades. The main breakfast restaurant spot is only open until 9 and otherwise there is only a grab and go coffee kiosk center. We did have some hearty breakfast burritos that were good and reasonable from the canteen kiosk coffee stand, but everything else was rather expensive. There was a sitting area near the coffee kiosk so breakfast turned out better than expected. Parking is rather high here and the lots are not close to the rooms. Only one out of 4 elevators were working for the main room tower. For people with mobility issues, this place is manageable but not recommended. I enjoyed my stay there, but probably won't stay again. It's just too big and a little run down in certain areas. It's a good place if you need a quick stop after arriving in Seattle. We saw a lot of flight attendants and pilots staying here. I would rate it a 3.5 for the price. It was higher than a lot of other hotels in the area, but my mother used points and cash as a Hilton pay option which made it more reasonable. read more

The elevator situation was ridiculous. Only two elevators worked and they were very slow. Many people at the convention I attended were unable to use the stairs, so there was always a long wait. Many people were late for classes or unable to get there at all. On day three, the service elevator was suddenly accessible to those who needed it, but two days went by before it was offered as an option. Housekeeping was inattentive. I left the room at 8:30 in the morning, without the do not disturb sign on. I could see the carts moving down the hall, so I knew they had been working on rooms. At 2 pm, I could see no carts in the hallway and the room hadn't been made up. I called and asked for extra towels and asked when they would get to the room. They sent someone especially to straighten the room, since they were done for the day. No one ever brought extra towels, though. The breakfast restaurant was a great idea, but our server was definitely on something. She was very out of it. At one point, she dropped the coffee pot off at our table by mistake and didn't give us the bill but demanded our credit cards. Twenty minutes later she came back and told us that we forgot to sign the slips. No. She never dropped them off for us to sign, plus she'd kidnapped our credit cards so we were unable to leave. When she finally brought them back, she had double charged us. We tried to get help and no one, including the manager wanted to help when it was the server's error. We kept being told that she was on her way. It took her fifteen minutes to come out of the kitchen to help fix it and then another five minutes to figure out how to fix it. Ridiculous. The shuttle and luggage hold were great. Every twenty minutes the shuttle would pick up at the airport and drop off at the hotel. It was extremely easy and convenient. read more

I found this hotel to be convenient - so close to the airport (literally across the street) plus walking distance to a few restaurants. The hotel complex is massive - with multiple buildings, although they are connected, it can be a long trip to find your room. In fact, I was in the Wings 4 & 5 building, closest to the lake, and had to take a hallway to one elevator, take the elevator to level 2, walk across the passenger bridge, then take another elevator up to level 3. My room was just around the corner. The rooms are comfortable, roomy, I wasn't in love with the desk chair as it sat down to far to the ground from the desk, but the TV was large, clear and worked well. You get a mini-fridge, and since I was a Hilton Honors Gold member, I received two bottles of water. And since this was a Doubletree, you get warm cookies upon checkin. My room also had a balcony, but I wouldn't risk it. The fact is that everything outside of the room is covered in spiderwebs with spiders - everywhere! So - if you are afraid of spiders, do NOT go outside. It's obvious no one cleans the outside of the building. Food is already expensive at hotels - but I saw the prices at the coffee shop and you are better grabbing it from the airport than at the hotel. $15 for a breakfast sandwich. I must say the service was excellent - from checkin to checkout - even received text messages asking how was my stay and if I needed anything. Also - be aware the building locks outside and you NEED your key to open the doors. Otherwise, you need to enter from the front lobby each time. I can't comment on parking as I had no vehicle, but I did use the airport transportation and it was great!!! The shuttle leaves the hotel at :20 and :40 after each hour and you cross the passenger bridge into the parking garage - follow "courtesy shuttle" signs and it's on the ground floor in the parking garage. Island 1 and 3 is where the "cookie" shuttle will appear. Great service!!! This hotel is also a CREW hotel for airline crew - so don't worry if they enter and cut the line just to sign in and grab their keys. It's quick and they are there for an overnight until their flight in the morning. It is also a hotel used for cruise lines - Princess - was the one this time - so there are groups with tons of luggage around the lobby - sometimes waiting for their shuttle. I also noticed besides the POOL and HOT TUB outside in the courtyard - there were at least a couple fitness centers and you access with your room keys. read more

Stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Seattle recently. It works if you need something quick, but overall didn't quite match the price for what was offered. There are a few positives worth noting. The views were nice (I had a lake view), and the hotel has a cozy, woodsy, lodge-like feel. The warm cookie at check-in was yummy. There's also a restaurant, a small café for quick bites, and a convenience shop with snacks and Seattle souvenirs. The location is very close to the airport and within walking distance of a few nearby restaurants. The hotel also has a large pool, a hot tub, and a couple of fitness centers, which is convenient. That said, there were some downsides. The shuttle service was unreliable during my stay. I waited about an hour at the designated stop at Sea-Tac Airport and saw a couple of shuttles pass without stopping. Customer service overall felt inconsistent and unwelcoming at times. The hotel itself is large, and depending on your room location (I stayed in one of the lower wings), it can be a bit of a walk from the lobby. The rooms are functional but feel dated and could use some updating. Overall, I would likely choose a different place going forward. read more

I booked a day pass at this hotel because we had about nine hours between checking out of our Airbnb and catching our flight home. Check-in went smoothly. Dolores assisted us and made sure we received all of our complimentary items as Hilton Honors/Amex members. Without me even asking, she handed over what I was most excited about -- the cookies! She was warm, pleasant, and very helpful. After dealing with constant noise at our neighboring Airbnb, I was really looking forward to catching a few hours of sleep. Unfortunately, when we opened the door to our room, it felt like we had stepped right back outside into winter. The room temperature was 49 degrees. It was absolutely frigid -- there was no taking off our coats or getting comfortable. My husband and I turned the thermostat up immediately, but after an hour with no noticeable change, we knew something wasn't right. I called the front desk and spoke with Dolores again. I explained the situation, and she was very apologetic and promptly sent maintenance to check the thermostat. I appreciated the quick response. After maintenance left, I changed into sweats and waited in the lobby to give the room time to warm up. It was an extremely slow process. After checking the temperature multiple times and seeing minimal improvement, I decided to try to get some rest before our flight. When I woke up a few hours later, I was still freezing. The room had only reached 59 degrees. I'm very disappointed because, despite reviews mentioning that the hotel is dated, I chose to give it a chance due to its convenience. While the property is indeed dated, our room was very clean, and I didn't notice any damage or signs of it being run-down. The staff, especially Dolores, were truly wonderful. However, my husband and I also noticed maintenance working on a thermostat in the hallway, which made us wonder if this might be an ongoing issue. While this may have been an unfortunate one-time situation, it's not an experience I would want to repeat, so we likely won't return. I sincerely hope these issues are addressed because the employees are fantastic and the hotel has so much potential. read more

Step back in time. I can't remember when I last stayed in a hotel that didn't have a fridge in the room but there are none at Doubletree. Also Queen room with only 3 pillows for the bed, 1 lamp at the bed instead of a lamp on either side of the bed. There was also a shortage of towels in the bathroom. Sure I could call housekeeping and have them bring up another pillow and some more towels but why aren't they already in the room? Never again. read more

Oh the Doubletree I love you so. I always find the best rates on Trip.com or trivago.com. They are usually generous enough to offer you some form of a discount on the parking if you ask very nicely. This is a great hotel. So many different wings & views . Literally feels like a few different hotels. This particular buffet not too exciting but the sheets in the beds are like heaven. The waters always hot, and the views with the balconies are just my favorite part. Always lovely and wonderful. My partner and I needed a last-minute stay and this Hilton was the most reasonable option available. Check-in was smooth and the staff member at the desk was kind, even offering us cookies. Parking is an extra $30. Unfortunately, once we entered the room it smelled strongly of cleaning solution and the carpet was damp throughout, leaving socks wet when walking around. Since it was only one night, we tolerated it. The bathroom was not stocked with basic items beyond lotion and bar soap, and when we tried calling the front desk and housekeeping for toothpaste, no one answered. In the morning, the housekeepers were very loud in the hallway, which carried into the room. Overall, the stay was okay but definitely disappointing compared to other Hiltons I've experienced. read more

Then another mike walk to an ice machine that didn't work, the vending machine beside the ice maker only had soda and I got the last one when we needed 2 of them, the soda was piss warm and no ice. It was a long walk back to my room in building 5. The only good thing is we didn't pay for this room, it was comped by Alaska Airlines due to our flight delayed and missing our next. read more

This is literally the most disgusting, outdated, dirty, and rundown DoubleTree I have ever experienced. We chose this for the night after our cruise because it's close to the airport. Apparently, everyone else did too, because the check-in line was at least 40 people deep for nearly 2 hours, with very little movement. The lobby is probably the "cleanest" place on the whole property. Lobby bathrooms - dirty. Unknown substances on the WALLPAPER, gross carpet and chairs that are at least from the 90's. We have 2 rooms and only one was ready on time. It smells like a smoking room from the 80's. Like it's permeated into the walls and curtains that are probably also from the 80's. The hallways look like they haven't been vacuumed in a month, not cleaned in 10 years. I have stayed at Motel 6's that are cleaner. When the second room was ready, it was even worse. Stains on the couch, smells of an 80's bar full of old people. It's really indescribable in mere words. The AC vent is covered in gross dust & grime. The curtains have stains. The couch stains are super questionable. The aesthetic is Golden Girls. I'm fairly certain we're gonna end up with bedbugs, but hopefully the 115 degree heat back home in Arizona will kill anything that may hop in our bags to go home with us. Definitely save yourselves before you even thing about booking this place. So far off brand for DoubleTree, but completely off brand for Hilton. read more

Let's start with the positives. This DoubleTree is very conveniently located near the Seattle airport, which is great if your goal is to spend as little time in the building as possible. This hotel is OLD. Not charmingly old. Not historic old. More like "has survived several administrations and at least one lava lamp phase" old. For a property with a conference center, it feels frozen in time, and not in a fun retro way. More in a "when was the last renovation, 1998?" way. I was "upgraded" to the penthouse level in the tower, which sounds exciting until you open the door and are greeted by a musty smell that suggests the room has been sealed since dial-up internet was popular. The tower itself feels like a vertical museum of outdated hotel design. The shower deserves its own paragraph. The handle required the precision and patience of cracking a bank vault. After several minutes of careful turning, slight backtracking, and whispered encouragement, I was rewarded with lukewarm water. Not hot. Not cold. Just aggressively mediocre. Breakfast hours deserve an honorable mention. They stop at 9:00AM. Yes, 9:00AM. At an airport hotel. With a conference center. Apparently conferences are expected to wrap up before most people have finished their first cup of coffee. To finish the experience on a high note, I was double-charged for parking. This was resolved only after contacting the Hilton service desk, because apparently the hotel and its billing system are just as disconnected as the decor. Between the aging rooms, questionable "upgrades," plumbing puzzles, early-cutoff breakfast, and billing issues, I would not recommend staying here. If you are looking for an out of date, 1980s era, hotel time capsule this might be your place. I have come here once a year for a conference since the mid 2000s and I don't think anything has changed. Every year when we arrive there is always some fun adventure, this year's...power outage. Throughout the time we were there the corridors and elevators (2 of 4 working) were so cold I don't know that I could even packed enough layers to stay warm. The boiler is also apparently not able to keep up with multiple guests taking showers to be at the same place at the same time because there was no warm water to be found. The first night (power outage) my room was at such a point of cold when the power came back on that it too until about 2am to be a comfortable temperature for sleeping, the last night I was awoken at 1am by the strong smell of something burning....turns out it was the dust in the vents....it was February in Seattle, this can't have been the first time the heater was used and it was set at a whopping 63 degrees. They offered me a free cup of coffee for my troubles....at $11 for a cup of coffee, it might have seemed like a fair trade to them, but i expect more from a Hilton property. On the plus side, the staff were all very nice and it is super close to the airport if you are looking for that convenience. read more

I checked in near midnight. My key cards did not work. I had to walk 10 minutes back to lobby, get new key cards, only to find out the second set of key cards did not work either. I had to call the hotel main number wait through their automatic menu and eventually get security to let me in. The hotel has multiple disconnected arms. The rooms are far from lobby. The good is that they offer free shuttle from airport, offer free cookies and beautiful outdoor views. The bad is whoever they partner with to take the cruise ship passengers to the docks was not organized well. About 6-8 of us are waiting over an hour outside in the cold for our shuttle and the front desk people are of no help. We had to call the shuttle service ourselves to have them pick us up since the last shuttle (Kevin's) was full. David was very polite, and courteous who finally took us on our appropriate ship docks. We paid for the extra service and expected the service to be on time. read more

The front desk lady told us we were supposed to order off of a breakfast menu and there would be no buffet but then when we entered the restaurant in the morning the host let us know that it is only a buffet.. that was fine but a little odd they said literally the opposite thing. They also told us it was a $26 buffet but when we got our check it was a 29$ buffet. Def not worth 29$ as the buffet was pretty mediocre and small, but I guess that still beats airport prices lol. The bed was comfortable, and the room was reasonably clean and spacious. There end the "pros." The hotel itself is horribly designed and confusion is inevitable. Much worse, the hotel staff has zero interest in compensating for that by helping their guests. When I arrived, I found that only the name of the first guest who arrived was attached to the room. My name was left out. When I tried to show them my ID and asked to be added, they ignored me. I didn't want to slow things down for everyone else in our group and let it go. Not long after, a DoorDash order became a comedy of errors, mostly because the Dasher was probably stoned out of his gourd but also perhaps because the staff had failed to give him understandable instructions about where to find my room. That misadventure took about an hour. Finally getting my dinner, I was surprised to find that my Lousiana-style shrimp boil dinner came in a plastic bag. After eating, I had to discard the shrimp juice-filled bag in a hotel trash bin or sleep in a shrimp and garlic-scented room. The second I closed the door behind me, though, I realized I'd left my key behind. To be honest, I'm super absent-minded and this kind of thing happens regularly -- but most people are pretty nice, respond to politeness and honesty, and things can usually be solved quickly. I didn't reckon with Hilton's corporate culture! At the front desk, I was told security regulations forbade employees from giving me a new key or even letting me in the room without the direct okay of a listed guest. When the hotel tried calling my roommate, they didn't answer. Same for my sister and her husband. Cell phones were going directly to voicemail. People were asleep!! There were other relatives we could call but they all have small children and seriously hate being woken up. In any case, my phone was locked up in the room. At this point, I was starting to become worried but the person I spoke to said it would be sorted out soon. When I asked how, the same rules and questions were repeated to me. No help of any kind was offered except for calling numbers that didn't work. I told the team member that I understood the need for security and that they couldn't just flout company policies willy-nilly. I said, however, that they had every reason to assume I was telling the truth and was not some kind of wrongdoer. I listed the names of the large majority of my family members at the hotel who *were* in the system. How would I have this information if I weren't in the group? I could throw in the names of the children as a bonus. Maybe the pets? Hair colors? Did they think I was some kind of undercover boss there to bust them for showing excessive kindness to customers? What could I possibly be up to? They didn't seem to care. I was probably who I said I was, one desk clerk said, but he was powerless to help. He asked if I would let him into the room if the situation were reversed. "Yes!" Seriuosly, if I had that job, I would know that anyone who could list the names of several people I knew were guests and could provide the kind of details I gave is clearly not a threat Having a security guard escort me to the room and allow me to provide ID really should have been sufficient. By the way, I'm a short fat guy in my 60s. I do not come off as a threat of any kind. I truly doubt that it would be a firing offense and, if it were, I'd want to work anywhere but at this haven of evil. Frustrated but making an effort to remain calm, I mentioned a couple of times that I would really appreciate it if the team member I was primarily talking to acted like a human being in responding to me, rather than a robot incapable of overriding inapplicable instructions. At this point, the manager was listening in and informed me that I was being rude and that he didn't appreciate the way I was speaking to his staff. I admit to being tense but I was not yelling or even especially angry. I was actually just tired and begging them to be kind to me. No luck there. "We are actually being very patient with you," the manager concluded. I admitted defeat, trudged back to my room in my socks, and slumped down in front of it. In about 20 minutes, my roommate for the trip showed up. It could have been hours more but, thank goodness, it wasn't. So, readers and any Hilton team members out there, is this "hospitality"? I have seen some disturbing signs of a rather mean-spirited corporate culture that hurts both employees and guests in the past. Is there more of the same? read more

I found this place to be somewhat dirty and very dated. Our room smelled funny and was very far away from check in desk- very far. The pond out the "balcony" looked like stagnant, mosquito filled water. Everyone who works here is nice but I think it's just too big for the staff to take care of and it seems to be in bad repair. Older Doubletree hotel near Seatac airport. Huge hotel with a main building and several separate "bungalow" type small 3 floor towers detached from the main hotel tower. Not a huge fan of this type of hotel setup. They allowed early check in for free, which is a plus. Front desk staff were very friendly. Of course the walnut and chocolate chip cookies were also provided at check in. Parking is $33/night. Rooms are dated and could use a renovation, however they are clean and smell nice. Bathrooms are decent. It is very cold in Seattle about 20 degrees. Heat didn't work well in the room. The front desk switched our rooms and although you can feel heat coming out of the unit in the new room, it is no match for this cold weather. They allowed later check out at 1pm for no extra charge, when it's normally 12pm. They offered up to 3pm for an extra $60. I declined. But did checkout at 1pm. I got a good deal on this room from Priceline. I would never pay full price as listed on the Hilton website ($200+), as it doesn't seem to be worth it in my opinion for an old dated hotel. Great for events. I'm not reviewing the hotel, I'm talking about the DoubleTree as an event space. If you're OK with the 1980s decor, you can have a fabulous event here. My group was Washington Realtors(r), Shure had an event in an adjacent room. Our event was first rate. We had lunch catered to the tables, snacks and coffee before and aft, and service and quality were excellent. Excellent. First rate. The Doubletree accommodated a crew of ten or so sound and AV techs, everything went well, and if you're planning an event for a hundred or few, I recommend this venue highly. read more

well first off they advertise there complementary breakfast an then they don't even tell you that a cost money until you're done ordering and eating and oh yeah that's right you have to pay and you know I lived on a budget now i am hella i'm embarrassed cuz i was just humiliated by the waitress. I do not recommend the only person that actually was very much helpful and kind was the young lady that checked me in last night her name wa talalelei tulia. she was more than accommodating and extremely nice. don't get me wrong. This Review is ONLY for the Airport Parking service. Our third time using this Hotel's parking services since it's pretty close to the SeaTac Airport and convenient for us to drive to. Most recent reservation was from 8/21/24 to 8/24/24. Drove to the hotel and found the last parking space available at 3:55 AM on Wednesday, 8/21/24! Not sure why the whole parking lot was full. Wish they had put signs up informing people which side of the parking lots were totally FULL, that would save customers from driving around and wasting time. Anyhow, had to park and walk a ways to catch the bloody shuttle at 4:00 AM. The driver was rude to my wife and 9-Month Old son saying he was about to leave when I was walking back to the hotel entrance when it hadn't turned 4:00 AM!! It was 2 minutes from that time when I had turned the corner from the parking lot and walking towards my family waiting with our luggage, stroller and car seat. I don't know why the driver was in a hurry when his lone job was to wait for as much customers as possible who were planning to take the shuttle by 4:00 AM or even 5 mins after. It ain't like the airport is that far away. Can't believe he attempted to leave us behind! Anyway, the shuttle was frickin' hot! Dunno if the driver had forgotten to turn on the A/C, but it was packed full of people, too. When we had returned on 8/24/24, we didn't even take the shuttle back from the airport because we were not going to wait 30 minutes when we had a chance to walk from the airport to the hotel (0.8mi). It was 12:35 PM when we had gotten our luggage, so the next scheduled shuttle from Doubletree by Hilton wasn't gonna arrive until 1:00 PM. We decided to walk it, even though it was drizzling a little bit. Made it to the hotel by 12:55 PM. Dropped off the luggage at the car before going to the front desk to get the parking ticket validated. It was a total mess outside the entrance and inside! A frickin' mad house! Tons of people lined up to take the shuttle with their luggages, a whole line of people going to the door waiting to check in and bag reserve section was chaos as well at 1:00 PM! Dunno why there were so many people at that time on Saturday, but it was jam packed every corner of the lobby!!! Not sure if there were conventions going on or if the hotel had overbooked rooms, but it was crazy!!! Hardly was able to walk in through the large crowds of people and bags just to get the ticket validated and out. Overall, price for parking was somewhat reasonable compared to others. It was $47.96 for 4 Days, Service Charge was $6.99, plus Lot Taxes & Fees - $11.12 for a total of $66.07. So, basically $16.52 a day. Lowest price I found during those dates.... Overly crowded parking lot, rude driver and lobby were negative experiences. read more

Ha so I never leave reviews but this had to happen. Today is 4/25/25 and I am unfortunately here till 5/2/25:/ luckily my company is paying for this dump of a hotel. First, little to no hot water, front desk acts like your bugging them if something is wrong lol, then I noticed the toilet water level was low so before I think about using the toilet, I give it a flush and boom the thing is flooded, I call front desk and I get a snub attitude and that someone will be up in 30 mins. This place is run down to the ground. By far the worst hotel I have stayed in while traveling for work. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place. I'd be really pissed if I was paying for this stay with my own money. Also do yourself a favor and don't eat here, there are way better places to eat with 10 mins drive if that. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star lol. read more

How it started, Our situation, rental car return deadline was quickly approaching so we split up so I could organize our luggage after being on the road and he'd check us in. At checkin both ladies couldn't help my husband because the reservation was under my maiden name. Pro Tips: Learn from my mistake: Do not spend your money on a balcony, their balcony's are non secluded and feel like a jail cell. If staying on floor 13, ask to change floors. This floor is rundown. If you're a diamond member you MIGHT have a nice floor. If you're a Hilton Honors member you MIGHT have a nice floor, They advertise rooms and photos that only look amazing you will sadly not get what you pay for i.e mountain room, bow lake room, don't trust this hotel that you'll get what you paid for. "it's not guaranteed" So, I had to walk over to be helped. One lady explained she was walking away After her seeing us standing in line twice. Then, Ryan, the most understanding and quick front desk help got us through. He helped us check our bags with bag claim so we could do what we needed which was return the rental. When we came back Ryan assisted us again. Two cookies, Two bottles of water & we were on our way. Ryan only works nights (FYI) The Bad, I paid for $500, to be in a mountain view parlour suite. What I received was a ratty, run down parlour suite facing the airport although spacious floor 13 is run down and filthy. The Hilton honors level looked to be in SO much better shape than other levels in the same wing. I was told my Lantia that unfortunately I did reserve a mountain view facing Mt. Rainer but that regrettably it was unavailable. I then, said ok since that is what I paid for then will there be a price adjustment, her response was a mountain view is NOT guaranteed. Which, was not disclosed by my travel agent nor the hotel at the time of booking. #CHASETravel false advertising and hotel false advertising. Room# 1364 has a broken tab on the living room balcony door so you cannot open it. A chipped dining room table. receding wall paper. Dusty in all corners and a filthy dirty yellow chair (picture provided) there was NO room service other than texting assistance for setting up an automated wake-up. The Shuttle, terrible. Just walk, to be jerked around on a tiny shuttle from his driving speed & knee jerk stops versus a 10 minute walk is reasonable. We asked Ryan how bad the shuttle was early morning, It's TERRIBLE here's why, to see guests that brought over, 10 pcs of luggage to seattle when you can factor in day or two of laundry is moronic!! Tons of people waiting out by 5am so we just walked. Blessed by good weather, we didn't have to deal with riding the shuttle again. Also, we both realized how close a few restaurants were at that time. Restaurants::::: Their Vibe is OFF food we ordered drinks nothing memorable my tequila sunrise was like something youd get at a dive bar, Mickey, seemed overwhelmed & easily misunderstood playfulness chatter. Food, over dressed salad for a beet and greens salad. Onion rings DELICIOUS, flat breads also good, we had a little left over. DEF ask for dressing on the side now, if you're able to have dinner before it gets dark with plenty of time to walk back while still light out, DO adventure the neighborhood. However, if it's already dark, either uber to your destination or eat at their restaurant. MAXIS is only open on Saturday at 8pm as of April 21 2022. Overall the convenience of this hotel is great. Would give this place a zero if I could! We had a one night layover in Seattle on our way to Vancouver paid by Delta Airlines. They went and charged us for an extra night when we left that early morning for a flight to YVR. I sent them full documentation of our Delta flight that morning. It has been over a week and they still can't get their accounting fixed. Meanwhile my credit card and is charged and I already paid. Stay away from this place if you can and make sure you get charges verified and receipts printed before leaving! read more

I have to stay here periodically for work. It is a dump. I avoid it when I can but I end up here from time to time. It is an enormous property and they are chronically understaffed. Not unusual to wait 45 minutes for checkin. Hilton Honors doesn't get you a much shorter wait. They seem to cater to large groups. Conferences,, big meeting groups, etc. It's a real mess during cruise ship season. Lobby and restaurant gets slammed. Rooms are fine just tired and sad. If all you want to do is get some sleep then it should work but the beds are old too. I am at the will of my employer when I have to stay here but again, I try and avoid it. Let me at least say, that the staff that is here are usually nice. In spite of their staffing problems and chronic computer issues. Ugh. Back to waiting to see if they can even accommodate me. . . 50 minutes and counting . . . At one point the two people at the desk just left for like 15 minutes and disappeared to the back then returned to announce that they were overbooked and everyone waiting would need to be accommodated somewhere else. Room was clean. Check-in was easy. Staff seemed nice. What the hell has happened to this property? This used to be a premiere hotel in Seattle. Two of the four elevators were broken. The hotel was full. Huge lines. The meeting rooms were freezing cold. How can you host people and have them meet in their winter coats? No hot water one morning. I won't stay there again. read more

Got the job done for the night but, yikes. A sprawling maze like mass of separate building makes finding your room an adventure. Unheated skywalks make a chilly hike to your room. On this visit several hallways have commercial fans humming, drying what was some assumed flooding or leaking. The rooms are dark and not updated. They charge for guest parking. Didn't expect that. Lobby is pretty and I hoped for a better experience considering it's a Hilton property. The hotel has that old building smell. We had a balcony view, and while the large windows was nice, the sliding door when shut was still leaking cold air from the outside. Around 10:30pm our toilet was making noise for half an hour after it was flushed. We were hoping the sound would stop but we had to call for maintenance. They fixed it quickly so we're grateful for that. Upon checking in, room Didn't feel entirely clean. Carpet felt like there were crumbs or something when I walked across it in socks. Shower is okay, has good pressure and includes mounted shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Has a hair dryer but I haven't tried it. We ventured out to the city for the whole day and when we returned in the evening, our room was untouched, so I was disappointed to see housekeeping not come by to change out our trash or take our used towels. Our prior hotel during our Washington visit was at a Marriott and we had a much better experience. Will look into Marriott in the future. read more
