So this was a great spot. WAS!!!! But Recently they have started being terrible, They served me Spoiled food which if you point out to them they say it's too much curry powder, which is crazy because I make curry at least five times a week. I know the difference between spoiled rice vs too much curry powder rice. The rice smelled so bad that even the server didn't want to taste it. Overcharging credit cards. They double charged three of our credit cards, we have tried to resolve the issue with the manager and it's been over a month that this hasn't been resolved. Every time you ask them to split the bill they mess up. First they don't tell you that the gratuity is included with the bill, then they don't tell you when you ask them if the gratuity was included so you end up double tipping them. This pains me to write this because I enjoyed their services before but they really have fallen down to the dumps. They need to figure out what is going on with their business. read more

The vibe that this place gives is like you're still in the Middle East. Now a few of my dislikes: I ordered a coffee and never received it at all during the night, it's super loud in the cafe which is fine but it's hard to have a conversation with friends. They brought out my hookah very very late and I was kinda annoyed by it. I've been coming here pretty frequently the past few months..the food and atmosphere don't disappoint. For a hookah lounge, I appreciate that the place has good ventilation. The staff unfortunately show variable inattentiveness... Usually the male staff are friendly and promptly return with any requested items. The girls who work there are less engaged upon service and every time I visit, there is always something I ask for that they don't deliver. It could be anything from napkins, extra ketchup, water, etc. They nod and repeat what I've asked for but for some reason just don't come back to our table. I see them waiting other tables and pass by without acknowledging my table. They don't make eye contact when passing by, and I cannot get their attention because of this. Chill spot. Their food and smoothies are great. The seats are comfy. Gets too crowded at night and parking can be difficult so watch out for that. Free wifi, and good music. Always have game on their tvs so your date doesn't ever get bored while you eat or smoke. Bathroom is always clean but needs a bigger mirror for .. you know.. checking yourself out before you leave the restroom. Great service too. Ordered Chicken Shwarma sandwich for carry out. It was pretty much just chicken wrapped up in bread with almost nothing inside it or even a layer or mayo or anything. The chicken was super dry which made it even worse. Doubt I will ever go there again and definitely don't recommend anyone else going there for food. I came into this place two times and they apparently treated me in the same worst situation ever i face in my life. They asked me to wait even there are available tables because I was by my self. They kept me wait more than 40 minutes although the weather was so cold then surprisingly they passed orhers who came after me to take tables just because they're two! They didn't consider how i wait in this miserable weather, they didn't even respect me as customer especially the guy who act as the manager with beard. The place has great hookah and seating, however, service is god awful. Being a millennial I do give more slack to a lot of worker just because I understand how hard it is to work in an industry based around consumers who always think they're right. But thats besides the point, I came in and ordered my hookah at around 10:15 and didn't even get it until 11. I sat there and literally watched new guests come in and served immediately. This is about to become my new favorite hookah bar! They have delicious food and they really know how to make hookah that lasts long. The service is fast and the people that work there are really sweet and bring our food and hookah within minutes. The area is pretty spacious on the inside and it's still a fairly new place. The best hookah flavor is cloud 9 with peach. The flavor is sweet and smooth, the smoke is thick, and it lasts forever. As far as food goes I've only ordered their chicken shwarma platter with rice and it's soooo good! They give you some tahini and garlic sauce on the side, with some tomatoes, pickles, rice, and chicken. The portions are big and you're also given some warm pita bread. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is so delicious and refreshing! The place is clean and they bring out disposable pipes, prices are cheap but with great quality. Atmosphere is chill, no obnoxious lounge music, no stuck up people, no flashy type ambience. It's simply just a chill place to go with friends. Adding another Northern Virginia hookah bar notch in my belt, I had a fantastic experience at Cedar's Cafe. I usually don't order food at these kinds of places, so I can't testify to the quality of that aspect. When it comes to hookah however, this is my new go-to spot for a number of reasons! Hospitality and service were two key points. For some reason, quite a few hookah bars in the area have a problem with manners, in that they don't always have them. The staff at Cedar's were polite, quick, and efficient, all while being friendly. Any other hookah bar with scowling employees who look bothered when you ask for a coal or plastic tip should take note. The atmosphere is perfect. Quiet, modern yet comfortable, and spacious. I wasn't shoulder to shoulder with anyone, and yet there was ample seating. This place isn't huge but it definitely feels like it. The music they play isn't being forcibly jammed into your ears either, which is great if you're trying to catch up with someone 1 on 1. A lot of hookah bars seem to have an identity crisis in this regard (not everything has to be a club). I noticed no scarcity of power outlets, making this a good choice for studying as well. Two TV's and a large projection screen line the walls, providing a pretty good setting for watching sports games too. And of course, the most important part: Hookah. Now, their flavor choices aren't anything special. The staples are there, blue mist, double apple, some fruitier flavors, etc. A couple jazzed up names like Watermelon Freeze which really just tasted like watermelon mixed with mint. It wasn't too important though, because the heads were packed perfectly, and I mean perfectly. Smooth, easy to pull, and even after an hour and a half and a couple coal changes, the taste was still fully present and never even close to harsh. Disposal hoses but I prefer that, not sure if they have the fancier ones. The cost isn't the cheapest, but definitely within the prices of other places in the area, and for the quality of what you're getting, it's well worth it. Without a doubt, this is the spot for a good hookah session. And I will absolutely be returning. read more

Cedars has always been a great experience for me! Before the renovation I used to come here for shawarma sandwiches, baba ghannoush and to pick up tobacco for hookah. The guys were always really sweet and greeted us and took care of us. Now they've renovated their spot to create an open lounge for hookah. The atmosphere is really casual and that's what I love about it, I can go, relax, sit with friends, smoke sheesha and enjoy my night! Since it's gotten busier, some nights the service is a little slower, but overall it's still a great place for the casual hangout and yummy food snacking! The prices are also really affordable and cheaper than other sheesha spots in the area. Will definitely continue to come back here! read more

This place has got to be a joke. The food is mediocre at best but what makes this place unbearable is the nasty and rude attitude of not just the servers but also the owner. Ordered food over the phone and they insisted we pay with a card on the phone instead of paying in store after picking up the food. The food was suppose to be ready in 15 minutes, I got there in 20 minutes and they made me wait 20 more minutes for the food. When the food came out to my surprise it was entirely wrong, cold, and missing multiple items. When I told the cashier she chuckled and showed attitude. When I inquired about the missing items i was told they were simply out of the stuff i said okay can it be replaced and more attitude followed. Asked to speak to the manager who made me wait another ten minutes before simply showing more attitude. I don't know why the owner is so cheap! This hookah lounge/cafe is probably one of the best ones I've been to! The service is awesome and the food I've had so far are on point ! (Chicken shawarma & grape leaves) Their latte is perfect and their fresh fruit smoothie is really good! You can tell it's made with real fruit and not like some powder type stuff. The hookahs come out fairly quickly and the place is pretty big so there's plenty of seats but of course it's not like a mansion in there. And I love how convenient the location is as well since I don't live so far from it. The only thing I don't like is the parking, I just wish there was more parking available. But other than that. There are numerous hookah lounges in the area and this one was definitely worth every penny! Long lasting packs and cool flavors! We enjoyed some jasmine, green and raspberry teas. The neighborhood is very diverse and although we were the only white females in the establishment, everyone around us was having so much fun, we felt as though we blended right in! Our server was very knowledgable and friendly. The inside is definitely very casual and cafe like: could wear a hoodie and flip flops and be comfortable. Our server said they were in the middle of renovating.
