We frequented this place over the past two weeks while taking care of a family member in their final stages of life. Pita and Olive became our family's go-to spot for comfort food. We all ordered various plates from kebabs, falafal, beef and lamb pitas, chicken bowl, and sides of their delicious rice. While running errands a few days ago I actually stopped in JUST to pick up a side of rice and a small cup of their creamy dill sauce (which tastes amazing on everything). Fresh ingredients that are seasoned beautifully and plates that are crafted to satisfy and bring happiness to your tummy and your heart. I want to thank Pita and Olive for providing us with nourishment during some pretty chaotic and sad times.

The addition of the coffee bar/cafe menu has only further endeared me to the place. Just like their food, many of the components of the coffee menu are scratch made, including the milks. They make a pistachio, almond, and oat milk all in house. There may be more too, but those three I know for certain. The attention to detail is also impressive, such as the presentation of each beverage. The cups the drinks are served in aren't just pretty, but also sturdy. Which as a clumsy person, I appreciate. Harder for me to spill. Ha! Something to keep in mind about the cafe menu is that since everything is mainly scratch made or ordered special (their Matcha is from Japan) they will be out of things at times. But there's nothing bad on the menu so I humbly suggest going in with an open mind. The lack of one item being available has caused me to try others, and I haven't disliked anything! I hope they continue to do well and are in the area for a long time to come.

The pina was made quickly and easily and satisfied my toddler. The chia brownie was clearly problematic in the blender. They took it on and off multiple times, added extra milk twice if not 3 times and it just would not blend. Seemed like a mistake in measuring ingredients so I figured they were going to start over. Instead they shook jiggled and forced this into my cup. I was pretty shocked they handed it over. The person working the blender seemed embarrassed and I'm pretty sure was instructed by whomever was working the register to just give it to me. For that reason I decided not to say anything, but what a crappy way to start a new business. It's an open window. They knew I could see this entire thing and that's certainly not the way to get return customers.

Knowing that, I ordered the medium wings as an appetizer and they were tasty. To make clear, the wings were crispy and juicy. Also, the sauce was flavorful and had a nice spice to it. Following that, I ordered the Barn Burger with fries for my entree. With that known, the burger was delicious. To explain, the meat was juicy and cooked to perfection. Similarly, the garlic mayo was excellent and it helped elevate the burger. In addition, the bun was fresh and enjoyable. My only problem with the burger was that the caramelized onions were undercooked. However, the burger was still very good. In like manner, the fries were pretty tasty as well. To enlighten, the fries were hot, crispy, and salted well. As a final point, The Exchange is a good restaurant with solid burgers and fries.

The siracha mayo gave the tacos just the right amount of spice, and don't let it fool you being listed on the appetizers menu, because it is a whole meal in itself. I don't know if the siracha overpowered the blackened seasoning, or if the blackened was just grilled. The steak frites special sounded amazing but no one in our party ordered it, but they do have specials. Sweet potato fries were a little soft, not quite crispy.

My daughter and I had lunch here on a Saturday. There are a wide variety of choices and vegetarians can do very well here as can vegans. We ordered Baba Galoush and Pita as an appetizer. The pita was fresh and warm! The eggplant was delicately flavored, smooth, and exceptional. I could eat it everyday. We ordered two bowls: One was Lamb Kabob One was Chicken There are a wide variety of choices to top your bowl and several different sauces. I had the lamb, and it was outstanding. It was flavorful from being marinated and incredibly tender! Best ever! I had brown rice and many toppings including a grape leave, olives, chick peas, chopped tomatoes/ red onion, hummus, picked cabbage, feta, and cucumbers. Delicious! It was drizzled with my choice of the signature white sauce. My daughter raved about the Chicken Bowl. She ordered a slice of the Chocolate Dubai Cake to bring home. Light fills the restaurant in the daytime. The decor very attractive and uncluttered. The restaurant has a large dining area with regular and high top tables plus barrel back chairs in a sitting area. It is very comfortable and spacious. And spotless. The food was delicious. The staff was attentive and helpful. The owner came to our table to ask if we enjoyed the food. Bravo! We highly recommend Zaffron Kitchen, and we will return soon. Offers catering! We ordered a specially sauced wings dish (I can't remember the exact name), a classic burger, and onion rings. My son loved the burger, while my husband and I absolutely loved the jumbo wings and what were honestly the best onion rings we've ever had. Before we ordered, the server mentioned that the chefs really know what they're doing--and we 100% agreed after eating. The food was amazing, but what really stood out was the atmosphere. It felt like a place full of regulars, with a very warm and welcoming vibe. The staff seemed genuinely relaxed and happy, and there was a lot of friendly interaction and joking between employees and customers, which I really loved. We had such a great experience that it looks like I'll be signing my son up for more classes :))

I really like The Flats in Clifton Park. I've been here several times for dinner and lunch, along with their Christmas breakfast and Mother's Day buffet brunches. Their buffets are excellent. They're around $50 per adult and about $20 for kids, and in my opinion they're worth it if you enjoy a good brunch buffet. Today they had carving stations with roast beef and turkey sliced fresh in front of you, build your own omelets, chocolate chip waffles, chicken nuggets, potato pancakes, sausage, bacon, mac and cheese, herb chicken and rice, seafood, and a huge dessert selection. There were so many desserts I couldn't possibly name them all, but some included chocolate chip cookies, Rice Krispie treats, lemon meringue pie, chocolate mousse pie, Oreo mousse pie, mini cheesecake cupcakes, and plenty of other goodies. I will say the chocolate mousse pie tasted good but was a little gritty in texture. I love me some chocolate mousse pie ordinarily but today I actually preferred the Oreo mousse pie. That being said everything is all you can eat, and it's all very good. It was extremely busy today, which was expected, but service was still excellent. That's been consistent every time I've visited here. The restaurant itself has a nice industrial-style feel and a covered patio area that I really like. It's a newer place that's only been open a few years, at least from what I'm aware of. Most places around here seem to do brunches but not true buffet brunches anymore, and I personally enjoy a good buffet brunch, so this place really stands out to me. If you get the chance to attend one of their buffets, I'd definitely recommend it. I know I will return in the future. 5 stars

The bar offers 12 beers on tap, can beers, wine, mixed drinks, and energy drinks. The tavern food menu offers a variety of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, personal size flat breads and specials. The prices here seem pretty reasonable. I stopped by Talon's Pub and Grille at the Eagle Crest Golf Club for an early dinner. It was very hot and humid outside, so this was a good place to take a break and stay cool. I took a seat up at the bar and got a food menu and specials. I started out with and ice water and Shrimp Tacos (3 for $9 plus tax) on special served with sour cream and mild salsa. The 3 grilled soft tacos were each filled up well with tender grilled shrimp, lettuce, shredded cheese and pico de gallo. These shrimp tacos were very good. Next, the French Dip ($13 plus tax) served with beef broth for dipping, choice of side (I chose homemade macaroni salad) and a dill pickle. The French Dip sub had plenty of thinly sliced grilled beef & melted Swiss cheese on a soft toasted sub roll. The homemade macaroni salad had a light mayo base with firm elbow pasta, chopped red peppers, onions and celery. Both the French Dip and macaroni salad were spot on in taste and portion. I was very stuffed and got the check which was $23.54 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food I ordered exceeded my expectations for taste, portion size and price. The service here was prompt and friendly. I would definitely stop here again whether it's after golf or just driving by.
