I came here with my mom to get cupcakes to surprise my grandparents. Walking in, the first thing you see is how clean everything is. One of the nice things is that you can see them baking and decorating the cupcakes and that space is extremely clean. Especially, with covid, that is important. We were also immediately greeted and it felt warm and sincere. The lady behind the counter was good with letting us have our space to figure out what we wanted, but being there in case we needed anything. The cupcake selection was massive. There were so many choices that it made it hard to narrow down. Even harder because all of them looked very tasty. We decided on two vanilla ones, one "dirt" and, a peppermint mocha. I tried a small bite of both the "dirt" one and the peppermint mocha one. Both were very flavorful and not dry at all. Sometimes with chocolate it can get dried out super easy but they managed to make flavorful cupcakes that weren't dried out at all. We also got the pumpkin old fashioned donut. Which was really good. Not too sweet or too much of a fake pumpkin flavor to it. Overall, it is a really cute bakery, that has very flavorful items and I am excited to go back and try more. read more

What a special little spot in the valley. I am all for bakeries that are local and have amazing service. You walk in and it is chic as can be. Super bright and cute with chalkboard inspirational quotes and a full display case of goodies. We got a german chocolate cake that was to die for and tried some donuts. I've been wanting to try Celebrations for a couple months now and I finally did! It did not live up to the hype in my head. =( It's important to say that there is something joyful about the smell of a bakery. Since Celebrations is next door to Subway it smells only like Subway--you know the smell. That was a let down but it's not anything Celebrations can control. My second let down was the service. I imagine working in a bakery is fun. You are giving people happiness in the form of sweet treats. The woman who helped us was not fun at all. She wasn't even helpful. I asked her about their Molasses cookie since I've never seen or heard of cookies with Molasses. I'm not even sure what Molasses tastes like. When I asked what flavors it had she said flatly, "Molasses" which I get it, fine, that's a dumb question except that I have no clue what Molasses tastes like. Then when I asked her about some cupcakes she enjoys she didn't really respond. I wanted to try a couple things so I ordered the Deputy Craig Cupcake (vanilla cake with caramel filling & cream cheese frosting), a maple bar, a peanut butter cookie and a cookies and cream cake pop. Cookie & Cream Cake pop: ick! The inside of the cake pop was too liquidy and soft and the outside tasted like gross white chocolate melts. I actually think Starbucks cake pops are better and bigger. PB Cookie: The cookie was really big. It was a little hard but that could be because it was old. The cookies were wrapped up but didn't have a date on them so I'm not sure when it was baked. It tasted pretty fine. Better than fine but not technically in the good range. Just a simple no frills cookie. Deputy Craig Cupcake: I think this was probably my favorite item although I've had better cupcakes before. The cream cheese frosting was a nice consistency and the caramel inside was tasty. The cupcake itself was white cake that was very dry and crumbly. I ended up having to put the cupcake on a plate because the weight of the frosting and caramel broke apart the cake once I took the wrapper off. Maple Bar: I hope for the sake of Celebrations that this maple bar was old because it tasted terrible. The maple glaze had crystalized and the donut was lackluster and flavorless. It was the worst maple bar I have ever had. It was much bigger than a normal maple bar but it was also misshaped, more like a maple rectangle. It was so gross I threw it away after two bites. I see that some other Yelpers have commented on the price being high but I was surprised that my total was only $10 for everything. I'm not sure if I got a discount or something since the lady working didn't even say the total she just handed me the iPad to pay. read more

All I can say is that it looks a whole lot better than it tastes. From looking at a previous review I saw that they do happy hour after 4 or 5pm. I came after that time and was able to indulge. I absolutely love red velvet cake so I was super happy to see that they had it available. I ordered a few more things like different cupcake flavors, a cookies and cream brownie and some cake pops. They were all decorated lovely but didn't taste well at all. The cupcakes were all hard around the edges on the actual cupcake where the icing is. read more

SOOO after the bank I wanted a cupcake.. very small selection however they had my favorite red velvet. I asked for one she asked me what one I wanted. She said there was one with cream cheese and one with not. I asked for cream cheese. Got in the car the cupcake was a lot lighter then your average red velvet. It was more pink. I bit into it and it had a fruit filling. Not sure what I got. It was good. It had good flavor. Very dry. So I can't for those reasons give a 5 star review. Maybe next time. read more

I stopped in for the first time today. Wonderful customer service as soon as I walked in. Excellent variety of donuts, cupcakes, cookies and cake pops. Over priced for below average cupcakes. I spent over $100 for a smash cake and 2 dozen cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday. They got the icing colors wrong on both the cake and cupcakes because they neglected to read the instructions on the 2nd page of my order. My sister picked up my order that day and had to wait an hour for them to refrost the cupcakes and I didn'teven bother with the cake since we had 2 hrs before the party started. My guests were not impressed with the quality of the cupcakes. The lemon blueberry was like cornbread filled with a blueberry jam and the pumpkin cheesecake was mushy. I thought after a couple of years I would give Celebrations another try. Unfortunately, their cupcakes, once again, fell short. The cake itself was dry and the frosting tasted incredibly artificial. Perhaps they use a shortening based frosting, which is a major flaw. I would expect this from a store bought cupcake, but not from a bakery whose primary focus is baked goods. If your only gonna sell one thing, do it great!! Celebrations unfortunately doesn't. The cake portion of my mini cake was so dry! Maybe all the frosting it was smothered in was supposed to make up for the absence of moisture in the actual cake? Besides a disappointing product, when I went to pay for it, it was $4 more than the board said. I read "mini cake $6" and was charged $10. The gal ringing me up said the prices had just changed two days before and the new price was written on some mini board that was apparently so small I didn't see it. I really wanted to like this place, but my cupcakes were SO dry. (dry, dry, dry!) Even my kids, who are sugar monsters, didn't want to finish theirs. Very poor customer service. They had no sample pictures or ideas for me to help me pick out cookies for a bridal shower. Had never worked with an edible screen print and just basically said they couldn't do it. Wouldn't come to the counter to help me, didn't make eye contact. Prices are a little high but for the design on the cakes they are spot on! Last year they did a great job and this year they exceeded our expectations on our 17yr old son's cake! We asked for college logos to be piped on on and they looked great. This is the most disappointing day for me, all because of lack of integrity and accountability on behalf of this establishment. I called to ask if they specifically made cakes for dogs that were okay for dogs to eat. They said they did. I prepaid and showed up for a cake for my pups birthday. I found out they had made a cake for humans with flour and sugar, as an animal owner and lover, we know those ingredients are not safe or good for dogs. Since they do not make dog friendly cakes I asked for a refund since I was not taking the cake. The manager refused and was quite rude about it. Stopped as a spur of the moment delight. Sadly I was only disappointed. The lobby was dirty; not on table was clean for me to sit and enjoy the cupcake. By the way, I was the only customer. The only napkins are cocktail size. I did not want to waste the box to go ... but I had no other options. If I wasn't tall I would not know they had cookies. The display was dark and hard to see into. My snickerdoodle cookie is dry(not in the delicate cream of tarter fashion that a snickerdoodle can be) and not very flavorful. I purchased a $30 groupon to come buy cupcakes from this store. I had never been there before and I wanted to see what they offered. When I went in I told the clerk that I had not been there before and that I had a groupon. She took my groupon, told me I could only select from 4 kinds, and that I could only have 11. I was a little shocked by her rudeness. She didn't talk to me about the store or any of the other cupcake options available. I took my 11 dry cupcakes and left. They were very disappointing for $30! I just had a surprise from my husband, a red velvet cupcake! I was so excited to try this. Unfortunately, this was the worst I've ever had. The cream cheese frosting had several hard chunks of what I'm hoping was just hard cream cheese! The actual cupcake was extremely dry. Highly disappointing as I've been wanting to try this bakery for sometime. I'm glad I tried this and some other flavors before I got them for a real celebration. If this is the product this bakery is putting out they should change their name to Disappointing Bakery! First and last time I'll be eating their cupcakes! Save your self the money and make your own.
