The girls are great at their job and helped me through all the machines. Hadn't used a tanning bed in over 30 yrs and boy have they changed!

It's really hard to judge because each store has his own individuality. I've been to some of that locations where it looks really ghetto, but then I've been to somewhere it's exquisite and above and beyond. Unfortunately, their prices are very high. They're parking is mediocre usually in a strip mall and unfortunately for them but great for me, I did find a better tanning place closer to my location. I would suggest coming here if you want to pay double you'd go anywhere else, but depending on the location, some beds are great and some are just average. I was really shocked to find out that all the locations are owned by the same people. I was very astonished here I would say maybe it really depends on each individual the only one that I really found remarkable was the one on Union Hills Road the two that I found in Surprise I was not impressed whatsoever. read more

The staff here is really really nice. I like that there's a lot of locations. I like that the unlimited membership is under $120 a month. You can go every single day and do three different things. The bronzing beds are in really good shape the Stand-Up tanning bed, the self tanning booth, the red light bed and the cold plunge are always really nice. I think there might be a sauna at one of the locations but I haven't seen it yet. I highly recommend it to anybody who likes tanning read more

quite literally one of the worst experiences i've had with customer service. got a spray tan, stripped my clothes down to the floor and it was soaking wet... not good for my tan obviously. let them know, they did not care. the 2 girls were loudly laughing in the front room with a boy in there eating in n out. extremely unprofessional & all i can think about is missing my girl from 81st and union location. clean, professional, attentive. read more

Up until this past month I would have given place a 5 star rating. It's been recently updated, always clean and the girls are super friendly. However, I've had a billing issue that stems from back in July. The same issue happened again the beginning of October. My account was suppose to placed on a hold for $5 a month and I have now been charged twice. I have been to 2 different locations to talk to Natalie the general manager and have also emailed her. I have heard nothing. I have also sent 2 emails via their website to corporate and still nothing. The lack of response by management is unacceptable. This is a retail place and the employees and assistant managers are able to take your money and bill you for services, but unable to process refunds with out a general manager. read more

We're fighting a national pandemic and most companies are doing the right thing in shutting down. Tanning is not vital and putting customers and more importantly young woman who work in these facilities in danger to make the company money is unacceptable. I've tried calling the corporate office and there is no response. The owners are taking precautions but are letting their workers work in dangerous contagious conditions. Cancelled my membership after years! I've been to a couple different locations and the front desk is rude, not welcoming at all. The girl today seems like she was irritated I was there. It's just not a good feeling when you walk into an establishment to get a service and feel unwelcome. I would rather send my money else where. I was shopping around for a tanning membership and checked this place out yesterday for the first time. Out of the several places near me that I have visited, this one had the best first impression. It was the only one to give me a tour and thoroughly explain the beds, packages, and memberships. The girl at the front desk, Kayla, was super sweet as well! Everything from the IKEA strip lighting to the large mirrors located outside the rooms screams efficiency. And that's why I love Celebrity Tanning. $50 for a month of unlimited tanning at the lowest level bed is a little steep in the West Valley where almost every strip mall has a tanning salon. $29.99 or $19.99 is more common for this sort of deal, but Celebrity is worth it. Not only do they change their bulbs once a week, but their level one beds are the strongest I've ever used. It took me a month to work up to 10 minutes because the UV rays were just too much. Celebrity really focuses on the little things. They leave goggles in each room just in case you forget yours (They also have disinfectant to drop them in at the end.), and they have candy and gum available when you walk out the door. I also like that they don't have mirrors in the rooms because other tanners can waste a lot of time int he rooms getting ready after tanning. The staff was very helpful. I always saw the same girl working whenever I went tanning, and she remember everything from my name to my tanning time. Her tips and tricks to achieve a better tan were awesome as well! read more

So I've never been a big UV ray type tan girl. I'm more of a spray tan type of girl. After trying out their spray tan that they recommended, I definitely rocked the oompa loompa glow for a couple of days. Don't worry, it wears off! Anyways, I finally took the recommendation of the front desk girl, and now I'm tan! I definitely recommend the product lines they have and the twilight teeth is amazing! The front desk girls are always extremely friendly which is a first for me to experience at all the tanning salons I've visited. Not only will they give you recommendations on what products you should use, they teach you on how to do everything. I definitely recommend this place, yes its pricey, but its totally worth it. Great customer service; I had 3 weeks of tanning left on my membership when the salon was closed because of covid in March. When I returned after the reopening the sweet young girl went out of her way and called corporate to see about my credit and was given 30 days of tanning. So I haven't been to Celebrity in awhile due to my membership being over and I haven't gotten a new one. I was needing to start a new membership and realized that I don't think I could go back, I had several issues on several occasions with the spray tan booth and I left a total of 3 emails and 6 messages with the ladies to have the manager contact me.... This was over a period of 6 months and at this point I feel like they truly don't care about keeping customers happy or even semi-satisfied cause that's all I wanted!!! Giving this place 3 stars because i feel like they try to scam you. The place in general is clean and efficient. The beds are clean and the girls are nice. I went to cancel my monthly membership and they forced me to pay for two extra months when I was on a month-to-month basis . For example, the months start on the 18th. I cancelled on the 10th of march and they told me I had to pay from the 18th of march to 18th of april, and then also to the 18th of april to the 18th of may. They charge a flat rate of 50$ a month to use the mystic tan but that doesnt include any color. I am very pale and thr first time she suggested I get the light color. The light didnt make a difference at all. I didnt look any tanner. So I went up a level to medium and added the bronzer. This costs at least 10$ for the color each time. You get 4 sprays a month, and it will actually end up costing you $90+ a month for 4 spray tans. I also mentioned a coupon I got online, and in the mail, for $25 for a month of mystic tanning. The girl explained that I couldnt use this coupon since I already pay the $50. So you must cancel and then re-sign up to use this. She also tried to tell me that it wasnt a better deal to pay 25$ a month. I asked how that would be possible and she continued to talk in nonsensical circles about it not being cheaper. Because that makes sense. Lol.. not! read more

I have tried out other places such as pure tan before, but did not like it. A friend of mine, Tessa, works at celebrity and convinced me to give it a try. I got a membership for being a student for $16 a month, for unlimited tanning. They guided me to which lotions would be best for my skin, and told me all options for after tan care. Daryn the manager is such a sweet girl. She also helps guide me into which lotions and all that and also suggests upgrades and all that. I tell all my friends to go here and it's really worth it! The girls are nice, and it's very clean. Great deals too! read more
