My kids and I were looking up nearby crystal shops and Celestial Awakenings came up, so we stopped in for some stones and candles. Such a beautiful collection of stones and crystals, although that's just the tip of the iceberg. They also carry books, tarot cards, incense and incense holders, jewelry, and figurines too. It's a very calming atmosphere and the ladies who work there are very knowledgable about what they carry and are more than happy to help you find what you're looking for, answer questions, or make suggestions, if needed. I will not go back to this location in Vancouver. I think the Portland store is better. They really don't know what they sell and how to help you find what you need. I asked what crystals enhance aura and psychic abilities. They didnt know. I said I could see auras and it was embarrassing. They have a white wall and this guy was asking what color his aura was. I kept saying I don't see anything and he was saying it was blue and green, trying to get me to see it. I told him many see auras when they are trying to help someone, when they're not trying. It's about intention. I said I was holding crystals to see what energy I felt from them. It's like they didn't understand because I think they were trying to sell the higher priced ones. I recommend Psychic Sister and another shop near there although I can't remember the name. They are very knowledgeable and are more interested in selling you what are looking for than what will make the most profit. read more

Wow, I just visited this place looking for a box-style incense burner, which they have, and I was blown away by their crystal stock. They have such a wide variety and everything is reasonably priced. I ended up getting a few additional crystals for my collection. They lady at the register was helpful. I told her I was new to the area and she said that the owners are there most days except Tuesday and Wednesday (if my mind serves me correctly). She said they are both lovely characters and I should stop by to meet them some time. She also said that some folks just come in to sit for a while just to enjoy the space. A phone call would have been a nice reminder and you did say "usually" we call to remind people. I have been here several times. All of the people that I have met, that work here, are absolutely amazing! They know what they are talking about and do not hesitate to help! The prices are great as well! I do wish they had a few additional products, but, as for stones and crystals, they are very well stocked! I will continue buying from this shop as often as I can. Let me start out by saying: I love this little place. The employees are so sweet & accepting of different people. I came in a few months ago to purchase a smudge stick to cleanse my home. I explained to the employee my religious beliefs and told him I had never smudged. He showed me how to use the stick & even told me I can do a blessing based on my religious preference. Cute shop with a diverse selection, however I think they are a bit overpriced. I purchased charoite from another crystal shop in Portland for $6, and this place was selling the same size for $9. It's a bit annoying that they put price tags right on the crystal when it's so tough to get the sticky residue off. Luckily I had crystals that could go in water so I could wash it off but that sucks for ones that aren't water safe. The employees could be more professional as well. It's a small space and there were a good amount of customers there when I visited, yet the two women working were gossiping and sharing some very personal information with each other about one of their friends at full volume for everyone to hear. I'm all about bonding with your coworker, but save it for when no one is around because it makes the business look bad. The woman who rang me up was a little rude and unfriendly. Bad vibes. This place is right on par with Ed's House of Gems in my book, and I consider Ed's to be basically the Holy Grail of crystal/mineral shops. But what Ed's has in inventory, this place has in knowledge. A large majority of the items are tumbled minerals, but WOW, did the guy there know his stuff! I arched him help another customer pick out a stone, and he did this whole demonstration of the effect one mineral had on her throat chakra, and it was pretty awe inspiring. He knew mineral properties like the back of his hand, but that wasn't all. He knew about EVERYTHING in the multifaceted crystal/mineral metaphysical bookstore in great depth. He had a thorough answer for any question. The selection of minerals is huge, but most are tumbled stones. An extensive Tarot/Oracle Cards section, books, gifts, this place had something of everything. Very easy to find, close to the freeway, and no sales tax if you have an Oregon ID. The people, the place, and the products are all amazing and surprisingly affordable. Don't be afraid to cross the river to get to this place. It's well worth the extra 5 minute drive. read more

Many years ago, I went to the store when it was located on Fourth Plain. The place there was wide open, brilliantly lit, wonderful energy. Recently, my niece wanted some help since she found out she was getting anxiety and I suggested lets go over and finding you a grounding stone just to help. We went to the store on 99th Highway. Parking isn't marked, the staircase in the back is too steep since I have a mobility issue. My niece walked up the steps, asked the clerk if there was a handicap access. She said out in front but she would have to unlock it. This was at 3pm in the afternoon. So we walked around the front. And yes, there is a handicap ramp. However, it still had ice and crusted slush on it, so I had to stomp and crack it as I went up. We got up there and waited. . .and waited. . and waited. . . until finally the clerk came around the front and apologized. She tried to unlock the door, but it stuck. Finally she got it open, and then I looked inside. Where she had been standing was no more than 30 feet away from the front door. There was only two other people in there. And the place smelled of heavy incense. As someone with fragrance sensitivity, I have no idea why these shops have to pour out the insence from all directions. I choked up a couple of times. I took out my surgical mask and put it on my face. So my niece and I went through the rooms. The feeling wasn't good. It's all tight compartments, things have been touched over and over, and when we went to look at stones, my niece's anxiety increased tremendously. We had to walk out because there wasn't any flow to the building. Things have been touched over and over, and it just feels dead. Sorry, but not going back. I miss the old store's energy. read more
